When i had my road traffic accident i didnt have a clue what to do i rang my insurance but didn't hear anything of them after that i felt lost and struggling then i got recommended mcams from a friend they explained everything what would happen and i felt comfortable again highly recommended.

I had a motorbike accident in November '15 and immediately contacted The Garage in Horwich to collect and store my motorbike. They referred me through to Adam Jackson at McAMS who took over and ensured I had an easy recovery by taking over the reigns and making sure everything was sorted.

Couldn't recommend them enough. Fast, reliable and keep you updated on each step. Hopefully won't have to use them again, but would definitely do so if needed.

I had the misfortune of having a motorcycle accident where a car turned into me causing some damage and putting my bike in dock for repairs.
I got in touch with Mcams accident mangement and they took a few details to ascertain if I was at fault .
I decided to accept the offer of a courtesy bike and within two days the bike was delivered to me at my place of work. There were a few papers to sign which took no time at all. After my bike was repaired , I informed McAms and they promptly collected the bike. All in all a hassle free and smooth experience. I would definately reccomend McAms to anyone.

We entrusted mc-ams with our claim when my partner was knocked off his motorbike. It was clear no fault on our part and the defendant even admitted it was their fault, but then later changed their story. You still took on our case believing it to be very much in our favour. You made me an interim payment at the time. However, when we then lost at court on your inability to make a case when even the police said it was her fault. You then tell me I have to pay the money back. So not only do we get no compensation for my injuries, we now get nothing for the written off bike, and what you never told us at the time was that by doing it through you I was circumventing my insurance company and that if you lost you would drop us like a ton of bricks, and offer no support or guidance on next steps. Shocking situation! You only take on cases you believe to win, so its not our fault if you didnt win, I should at least get the money for my bike, and now I am getting hassled by your solicitors threatening to take ME to court if I dont return the money. No one we speak to is being any help. Believe me, we WILL be pursuing this matter further! We have since found out that by going with yourselves we are accepting a 3rd party claim route, meaning if we lose we get nothing, and cannot not claim from our FULLY comprehensive insurance. This was NEVER explained to us or else why would we opt to go this route when we could just use our own insurance?!

Had my bike knocked over by builders,noticed a major problem with the frame.Rang them as a no fault claim.A hire bike was with me within 12 hours.The whole experience from start to finish,as been first class.
Would 100% recommend.The staff were so helpful.

I used McAMS with Blackburn Motorcycles when my bike was knocked over I had a hire bike with in a couple of hours and the whole service was fanstaic I needed my bike for collage so getting a hire bike ment I could still get there my bike got fixed and I did not lose my no claims I was very happy thank you McAMS

In the time it took to get my bike back , I've had to cbrs from mccams first time the person came to my door ,didn't even tell my how to start it or anything , he got me to sign the paper work n off he went and he left me with a dead bike , second time he come rround with a different cbr a few days later to swap it , even that one had starting up issues when we had to bump start it everyone due to there key (thobs) not walking half the time , but in the end i made profit from you guys anyways so cheers on that department

After a non fault accident McAMS dealt with my whole claim. They understood my situation and made everything as easy as possible for me. The claim was quick and I am pleased with their service. If I (unfortunately) have an accidents I would use this company again.

I had a bike accident two years ago. My insurance company were dragging feet and being a nightmare. Imagine it leg in plaster bike written off and this hassle didn't help either!!
A friend recommended McAMS to me and I rang them straight after. They did more in 24hrs than my insurance did in a week!! They kept me fully informed with everything and supported me all the way.
We ended up going to court in the end even though the evidence was all in my favour. My barrister was a brilliant Iron Lady who stood her ground and made the other insurance look small and inexperienced. We didn't even get to go into the court room. They knew the money I was owed and they didn't lower it for me for ease at all they fought and got what I deserved and more!! If I'm unfortunate to have another off I'll call them straight away now and tell everyone about them too.

I can't fault the service that was provided, but the cost is another issue.

I was in a non fault bike accident, and the other sides insurance could not act upon my request and requirements and so because they were not willing to toe the line I had no choice but to involve Mcams.

As a result, I received a big bike on merit, but read the small print and calculate the costs - for just over 30 days hire with some extra's the total bill was just under 8K which you could end with if the other side's insurance doesn't want to pay, and it could go to court and you may end up with that bill as it did in my case... Luckily this case didn't quite make the court room, but was sorted out of court on the day...

I'm just saying be careful and watch the pitfuls when you've signed the paper work, but other wise the service was good.

The entire team at Mcams have been amazing and really accommodating. Marco the area manager has gone far above and beyond the reasonable amount of effort to make this seriously stressful time for me so much easier to deal with. If there are any motorcycle riders out there without Mcams cover then you seriously need to find your local approved dealer and sign up ASAP.

I have been dealing with McAms for a number of years now. I have always found them to be genuine, honest and direct - they just get the job done! Our rep Ben is very professional and will always bend over backwards to help!

Marco from McAMS came to visit me late last year. Great guy to deal with, and he explained how the service works. McAMS offer my customers a first class accident management service with a loan bike within 24 hrs of the case being taken on. The loan bike is 'like for like' in engine cc, which is something that I've not been able to offer my customers in the past.
It's win win, with my customer looked after royally and us as a dealership getting paid promptly for the repair/recovery/storage.

An excellent service that I'd highly recommend. If you are a repair centre, or have had a motor accident because of the fault of a third party, get in touch with McAms, you'd be mad to let the accident repair go to the insurer!!

As most would think just sounds to good to be true or someone somewhere is being stung for it in the end,
But no its a must have as a business in the motorcycle trade there are
several important points, First is for the business by way off less running around,making calls and emails etc to several different people and chase chase chase trying to get info and time scales to keep the customer informed, And a point of contact when we need any info be it by way of contacting McAMS office staff or my area contact Marco Oliveira who both for me have been excellent, And we get paid a decent level very promptly for the service we provide.
And for the customer who also has a lot less running around as in the cases that i have dealt with have only had to make the one phone call and McAMS staff have taken full control of the situation from there all the way to the end most excellent.

We have been dealing with McAMS for a good few years and the service we recieve for ourselves and our customers are second to none.

If ever we need any help or information Adam Jackson has always been available to explain and guide us through the process. His experience and knowledge of the industry has meant every case we have put through McAMS goes through smoothly and efficiently. Personally we are very happy with the service McAMS provides for both the customer, the dealer and we will continue to use them.

As a professional garage we were very sceptical at first and thought it was all too good to be true.
After a visit from rebecca van havere we changed our minds.She took time to explain the whole process to us and she was very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions.

Here at Arnolds Motorcycles in Burton on Trent, the last 12 months have seen us more than double our revenue from accident repairs. This considerable increase can be attributed solely to our decision to become business partners with McAms.

McAms have proved themselves on multiple occasions to be a formidable and invaluable ally in the ongoing struggle against losing potential repair work to the large “central repair centres” often forced upon clients by their somewhat belligerent insurers.
