Gill at memoria was very helpful and talked me through everything i needed to know and claify all the questions i was a bit worried about, but she reassured me , was very straight forward to be honest, and i would highly reccomend memoria funerals.

They kept me informed even though it was a none attended service they let me know when the cremation would be so i and my sons could contemplate our thoughts and feelings of our loss.
Arranging the delivery of the ashes was professional and empathetic, They were hand delivered but a very professional man who to time to have a short conversation with me and offer his condolences. i thought the whole service was seamless and professional and very considerate of our feelings and grief.

I have my funeral plan with you since apx 2019 & you always keep me updated & when I phoned you to tell of my new address ect, you answered the call by, Hello & used my name after 3 yrs. Amazing. You talk through everything, plain & simple, caring, kind, understanding. Trust & believe in you so much i've now paying for my son & daughter funeral. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Total peace of mind & enjoyed few good chats & I'm left smiling. Excellent service. Thank you.

Shaun, at Memoria Direct, ran through the process of signing up really easily. We had a good chat, about it all, and answered all of our questions.

Sadly I was not provided the full service i was told I would get when I first booked my mums funeral plan. No cars were on the final service plan when I received the documents. I called and they were supposed to call me back but never did, then covid hit and it was forgotten about.
6 yrs later when my mum sadly died I called and the line was terrible, i couldn't understand half of what was being said. All I heard was Misbah telling me where the cremation would take place, I said I wanted to choose where it was taking place and she replied as long as it's in your plan that's ok.
I called Misbah back the next day to ask if it was ok and she said yes. She then sent me a form to fill out and a few days later after I had returned it. I mentioned in response to her email that I would like the funeral on a Thursday or Friday. I was told everything wouldn't be ready by then but I was not actually on about that week.
A few days later another lady Danielle called me on the Thursday to say the Cremation would be on the following Tuesday at 8.45am when I questioned the time, she then told me it was a Direct Cremation. I told her it wasn't it was a Full Service and she told me it had been booked as a Direct Cremation and that i had to call the insurance company to sort it out?
Not a great response.....
I was absolutely heartbroken as I kept telling her it was a Full Service. 10mins later she called me back to say that she was sorry and that after checking my mum's funeral plan she saw that it was actually a Full Service and that she would cancel the Direct Cremation and they would call me back with a new date.
Why on earth was this not checked when you first dealt with my mum's funeral plan, do you not check the actual plan booked? Plus there was no mention from Misbah that she thought it was a Direct Service?
I had no idea that was what was being booked.
The next day I had another lady called Teresa call me and she was so apologetic and lovely and really helped me to finally arrange the actual service I wanted for my mother, nothing was too much trouble with her. I also had a lovely celebrant called Nigel from Benedicts Funeral Directors who conducted mum's service and in the end it was a beautiful service.
My advice is you throughly check a funeral plan before you speak to the family and start organizing it. The upset you caused me at a time when I needed support was unforgivable.

The staff were wonderful to deal with and allayed any fears I had. What I thought would be a hard and upsetting thing to do was remarking calming because of the way my arrangements were handled by the kind and knowledgeable staff.

The communication and friendliness of the staff from start to finish was excellent.
I highly trust and recommend Memoria for a quality service without the faff.

Everything was straight forward, fast, dignified, and easy. All of the staff that I interacted with were polite, compassionate, and respectful. I simply had to fill out one form, and then be home, to receive my father's ashes, once they were ready. 10/10 service, from start to finish, and I will definitely be recommending Memorial to anyone who asks. Thank you all, for making this difficult time in my life easier to cope with.

Gill was very helpful and designed my plan perfectly. I recently had to arrange my father's funeral and he did not have anything like this in place. I do not want my children to have to face the same painful decisions when it is my time. The Celebration of Life plan Gill recommended, covers everything needed and gives me peace of mind knowing I have this in place. Plus you can pay monthly over 5 years which is ideal.
