A very professional and friendly service from James throughout the whole process of selling my home. Thanks also to the sales progression team who tried their best to navigate through the complexities of my chain and keep me updated.

MGY Excellent. We previously had a lower house valuation with a different estate agent who were very pushy, and charged higher fees. MGY valued our house as we wanted and quickly achieved our asking price and sold in less than 2 weeks. Very good at selling our property, only took a few days. The time between selling and exchanging took a long time, but not their fault more the other estate agents and various people in the chain. We were kept updated regularly and I only had to contact towards the end to find out if things were still moving forward. The actual exchange/moving day was a disaster though. I don’t think anyone knew what was going on. New residents that had employed a removal company turning up 2 hours before any money had cleared and before we had packed everything up. Not heard a thing from them since, not asked for feedback or review, which I find unprofessional especially as they made a lot of money from us.

I had a great experience from start to finish. The team were brilliant to work with, kept me up to date through the sales process and took away a huge amount of the worry. It all went very smoothly and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

The listing and viewing progress were great, but sales progression was awful. Twice we were led to believe we were close to exchange, without everything being in place. The one time people further down the chain didn't even have a mortgage.

They took silence from others in the chain as agreement, which caused delays and a lot of annoyed people.

We also had about three different variations of the status each time we had an update.

I would not use these people again, solely based on the sales progression.

A shocking company to deal with ! I vacated a house that I rented through them, and agreed with them that I could return within a few days to collect a couple of items I was unable to take at the time (all documented in writing), and then (after agreeing to this) to be told "tuff luck" you can not have your £500 worth of items back and we are going to dispose of them and charge you for this. Police and small claims court now involved. Be warned ! do not rent a house or flat from these unscrupulous rogues.
