Munster Joinery Reviews

Had windows and doors replaced on 1sr and 2nd July by Munster Joinery...Donagh and Tony ....what a team.
Couldn't recommend them or Munster Joinery enough...proud to have an Irish company that do such fantastic work.
And my house was tidier when they finished.
Thanks so much.
Keep up the good work

A very happy customer here ,recently had our windows and doors replaced by MJ in Donegal Town .John Cannon was our rep ,can’t recommend him enough, punctual, very knowledgeable, calm and dedicated ,always there to help with ideas ,to answer all our silly questions 😁 also very helpful afterwards when we needed help or info .About Paul (fitter ) and his team ,all I can say is that they were amazing, tidy, clean ,organised, punctual left everything spotless, they had their own covers for floors ,did the plastering afterwards too ,washed and polished the windows ,all we had to do was to hoover the dust and mop the floors.
Might sound silly but having nothing to fix after it’s such a big deal, all we needed was a bit of paint and everything looks like was never a site in progress 😂.

John the sales rep was a pleasure to work with from day one, nothing was a problem with him, and the installation was quick and clean, great company, id have no problem recommending them to anyone

I recently received my triple-glazed windows from Munster Joinery and I am extremely pleased with both the product quality and the overall service provided.
From the initial enquiry through to delivery, the process was handled professionally and efficiently. The windows are of an excellent standard, with a high-quality finish and outstanding build quality. They have already made a noticeable difference in terms of insulation, noise reduction, and the overall appearance of the property.
I would particularly like to thank Martin Mannion, who was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process. Martin was knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to answer questions and provide updates, making the experience straightforward and stress-free.
The delivery was completed as expected, and the windows arrived in excellent condition. A special thank you for the team who delivered the windows, they were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending Munster Joinery to anyone considering new windows and doors and would gladly use them again in the future.

Sid was our Munster Rep and he was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. I kept changing my mind and he was always willing and eager to accommodate my changes. He linked in perfectly with my builder and his attention to detail was second to none. He constantly checked in to make sure he got the order correct. There was no error in the final delivery and the doors and windows installed fit the bill perfectly. Well done.

Highly recommend. We dealt with Sid, who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and incredibly responsive (at all times do the day!) with any type of query or to assist. Went over and above in terms of support and guidance

once I got Niall as a sales rep everything went really well. His communication was super from start to finish . The we windows were installed on the day & no mess ...I could not have been happier

We were extremely happy with Sid, he arrived promptly and answered all our queries quickly and the whole process was quick and Sid was very efficient. I would recommend him.

Great service from Sid and the team

I had a fantastic experience with Munster Joinery from start to finish and highly recommend them.
Sid called out to my home and guided me through all of the available choices with great patience. He was incredibly helpful in choosing exactly what would suit my home, advising me clearly on both the sizing and color options.
The delivery arrived exactly on time as arranged with no delays whatsoever. The installers were absolutely great—they did a super job with the fitting, worked efficiently, and left everything clean and tidy. The new windows look brilliant, and the entire process was seamless and stress-free.
Thanks Sid for all your support and guidance

Had 23 new windows and 3 doors fitted in a replacement fitting job for a deep retrofit.

We dealt with John Cannon who has the patience of a saint! He was excellent in terms of guidance and talking us through different options.

The fitters were knowledgeable and completed the job over two days where old windows and doors were removed (some saved for re-use) and the new ones installed. They left the place tidy and discussed snagging.

We had 3-4 issues that needed tending to (scratches, locking mechanism issues etc) and were advised to log a call for an engineer.

Our engineer was Brendan and he arrived soon after our call and fixed the issues in less than an hour.

Would 100% recommend Munster Joinery.

I see a lot of negative reviews for Munster, but they did all my windows and door and I had zero problems with them.

Easy to deal with. The Rep Ken Tobin gave us some great advise. He knows his stuff. We are delighted with the job. It has transformed our house.

My windows and doors are amazing. Really good quality, I love them. Dealt with Bobby. whose super advice, patience and attention to detail made the entire process very easy. Nothing was a problem

I found them very easy to deal with. MJ rep Ken Tobin couldn’t have been more helpful. Fitters very efficient. Any small issues/questions or concerns I had afterwards were dealt with very swiftly. Highly recommend

While the quality of the windows is great and the work that was actually completed is lovely, the fact is they take their money before completing ALL the work (read the fine print in the contract carefully!), and then you’re stuck trying to get them to finish. We’ve been waiting since October to get 3 window sills and the entire entry way complete. We’ve rang and emailed and nothing. Disappointing. Waste of time and money.

New windows and doors fitted today. Job went smoothly and we couldn't be happier james hickey our rep was there all the way thru i recommend him highly used to be a fitter so knows his stuff thanks munster joinery great service

HORRIFIC AFTERSALES
I see all these wonderful reviews based on the buying of the product, I'm afraid that is their only priority - THE SALE.
If your unfortunate enough to have any issue and find yourself needing to follow up with aftersales/ customer service.
Best of luck
You wont get speaking with anyone.
Door was fitted misaligned by Munster representative, along with incorrect fitting of door handle - due to this the door struggled to open and close resulting in damaging the door frame.
As this was misfitting by the company and not caused by the customer, I have queried what next steps are they taking.

You cant speak with management, as they don't deal with the public,
Even though they brand themselves being a proud, Irish, family owned business - in fact you can't speak with ANYONE outside of a call center.
Even giving this a chance they very quickly wear you down by having to repeat yourself and explain time and time again with different people and the attitude across the board towards anything is simply - Tough.

Sent an email as advised- 6 times to give photos, timelines explanations to receive no response, next steps, suggestions and here I am new doors that are damaged being ignored.
I hope no one ever has any issues as the 10 year warranty might as well not be there and zero accountability or resolve will be taken.

Excellent performance from all concerned, Colm Daly point of contact communication from h q on installation dates and the crew who fitted left no stone unturned.
Great all round team performance
Proud irish owned managed and operated company continued success

Naomh Stack was the person who oversaw the installation of windows and doors at 29 hillview Carrigaline very efficient and helpful. The windows and doors were fitted within 14 days of Naomh visit to the site. The fitters were on time and did a really good job. Overall a great outcome. Murty nagle.
