We ordered a car battery from you in January , it was the wrong fitting for my car , last week phoned on the off chance that you might swop for another one , lady I spoke to was a lovely lady Remi who processed a refund which was paid back into my account the same day , since then ordered correct one and was delivered within 2 Days , thank you for a great service

Sent the wrong battery, didn’t refund

Ordered a car battery on 9 January for £99. Delivery took 3 days despite being advertised as next day.

The battery supplied was not compatible with my vehicle (not start-stop). The model sent also appeared to retail for around £75 on their website, despite me paying £99.

I arranged a return through the retailer and the battery was collected on 20 January. Despite this, I did not receive a refund and was repeatedly told to wait 14 days with no further updates.

After several weeks with no resolution, I had to raise a chargeback through my bank.

The refund was only received on 29 April, over 3 months after the return.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend.

I've used my motor world 3-4 times and…

I've used my motor world 3-4 times and I've had no problems. If you order for next day delivery you get next day delivery. I like that if you're a member you can earn points and if you save enough you can use anytime. I've never had any problems I've never received damaged item everything is always packed well ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Confusing comms. No delivery.

Item was listed as being in stock. ApplePay didn’t work(it does for me everywhere else). Had to manually pay by card. Got expected emails about order prep, estimated arrival. Then got email saying the order had been cancelled owing to no stock. Had to monitor for refund. This purchase simply failed.

I’m really sorry that your experience with this order was confusing and ultimately unsuccessful. I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to go through payment issues, receive order confirmations, and then be told the item was out of stock.

We have since manually corrected the stock listing and flagged the issue internally to help prevent this from happening again.

Your refund was processed immediately upon cancellation, but I appreciate that the overall experience felt like a failed purchase from start to finish, which is not what we want for any customer.

Members Beware.

I recently joined as a member hoping to get discounts and perks,however, when I placed my first order 10/04/26,I was given a forward delivery date of 13/04/26, next to this information was a statement telling me that members could as a perk receive next day delivery.
Nothing came the next day except a reminder that my delivery would be made on the 13/04/26.
When Monday arrived 13/04/26,and after staying indoors for most of that day,NO delivery was forthcoming.
I had to contact via their messinger service(because no agents were available) for live chat,again.
I eventually received a reply to be told that my order would be delivered the next day Tuesday 14/04/26.
This did happen,however, I remain very unimpressed with their standard of customer service,or should I say non- service.

While we do offer next working day delivery as a member perk, this is subject to stock availability and courier processing times. In your case, there was an unexpected delay within the courier network, which meant we had to revise the delivery date. I appreciate this wasn’t clearly communicated early enough, and that you ended up waiting in unnecessarily, that’s not the experience we want for our customers.

I can see that you did receive an update once you contacted us.

We are actively working with our couriers to improve reliability and communication to help prevent situations like this going forward.

Let down by courier

Items found easily on website and easy to place order. Prices were good too. Deciding factor on ordering from here was the free next day delivery. Ordering on a thursday for delivery friday so could fit over the weekend.
Emails from courier same day saying expecting parcel, and then they'd collected but thats when it went wrong - took 4 days to finally arrive (ok, was a weekend in the middle) which was a bit of a let down and also scuppered my plans to change the parts over the weekend.
