This company is a bunch of fraudsters!

I placed an order for a toddler learning tower for Father’s Day, the delivery was speedy and swift. But that’s about as far as it goes for praise for this company.

Sadly, when I came to build the item on the day before Father’s Day, it was apparent - after 3 hours of trying to build something that should have been straightforward - that one of the legs issued was incorrect. The other issue was the paint, it kept scratching off of the item when so much as a mere fingernail would so much as even touch it. Not to mention the awful and unhelpful instructions not being entirely clear.

I emailed and phoned the company to advise that my item was faulty and that I’d like a refund. Without my consent or approval, they immediately issued new legs that arrived the next day which I thought was very odd because I had asked for a refund initially after being totally dissatisfied not only with the legs being wrong (these things happen) but the paintwork was shoddy and in my humble opinion it was a very poor and cheap design, it felt flimsy and unsafe for my toddler even though I’d shelled out £100 for the item, believing as per its description that it would be a sturdy addition to our home. At this point, I just simply wanted to take my custom elsewhere and buy a sturdier design. Which I’m am totally free to choose to do so under the consumer rights act 1988.

I emailed the team again, to advise that I’d like a refund yet again. Only to be told that because they had now sneakily issued new legs quickly and without my consent or agreement, that the item was no longer faulty and that they would not cover the cost of returns because in their view it was no longer faulty because they’d rectified the problem. Therefore, if I now wanted to return the item, I would have to pay for it to be sent back out of my own pocket. After speaking to Royal Mail it was evident this was going to cost me quite a hefty fee.

As a customer, I feel totally robbed and violated. Either I pay the hefty delivery fee to return it back to these crooks (which I will do out of principle) or be stuck with an item that is not fit for purpose! Where are my consumer rights I ask you?

So if you are now a potential customer thinking about using these cowboys, I urge you not to! Go elsewhere and save your hard earned cash or fork out a hefty delivery fee if you are dissatisfied like I had been.

Quick delivery, stair gate is strong, secure and looks really nice. Great value for money.

Easy to order and prompt delivery. Our little granddaughter loves the tower. Now for a new set of adventures!

They have a good range of products and the prices are reasonable. However, I decided not to place an order as the postage for delivery meant the book I wanted was cheaper elsewhere. £5.95 just seemed a little steep for what I was ordering.

Will still be considering them when it comes to buying other products, such as a playpen or monitor, once the ones I like are back in stock.

Oliver's Babycare is a great company i was looking for a pushchair and I ordered a Hauck Disney Sport Minnie Sweetheart Pushchair for my granddaughter on 28th May and it was delivered the very next day very quick delivery thankyou it's great value for money high quality and I love it and my granddaughter does too I'm so glad that I came across Olivers Babycare the pushchair is also very compact and is easy to fold down thankyou so very much Oliver's Babycare for an excellent service in every way. I would very highly recommend Olivers Babycare for excellent products.🙂👍💋

If I could give this company no stars I would received a next2me crib completely unuseable due to being mouldy to be informed they need proof it arrived this way after sending photos of it being removed from the box in this condition when asked how exactly else
I could prove it was a received in this condition other than what I had just provided of it being removed from the box in this condition was informed off someone on the telephone don’t know and when told I would take it to trade and standards also informed the law wouldn’t care as was bought months ago

They confirmed they would price match something we had bought elsewhere. So we returned the item and got a refund , and then they decided they wouldn’t price match. This left us in a very difficult position as we needed the pram for a last minute journey to see my wife’s family. Would never use this company in the future based on this experience.

To reiterate - they confirmed that they would price match the item, they confirmed that the item was in stock, and that there were no difference in comparisons between the items - they were like for like. Yet after confirming this they then changed their minds.

Very disappointed, first time using this company still awaiting a response since raising a complaint via their online form. The item was awful to put together, cheap and flimsy fittings, and the back pieces were too long for the item, making it impossible to fit the item together without gaps. Also a few dents and mark.

Great website with lots of choice and easy to filter to find just what we were looking for at a competitive price and in stock. Straight forward ordering and fast delivery - cant ask for more very happy to recommend Olivers BabyCare to our friends and family.

I definately would not recommend outside uk to order this mat the shipping is ridiculous I ordered the mat paid 36 delivery fees to olivers babycare was then hit with custom fees of 121 euro from the fed ex company and then hit with a following fee of 9.81 from the fed ex emailed customer support before I made the order to ask for advice before I made the order who literally would not even try to advise on custom charges even tough I told them I was going to be in england that week and could buy one directly tere if they felt there would be furthur charges...I still havnt even received the mat that I ordered back on the 19th of march..
