ive used online carpets for 10 years spending thousands with them and i used to recommend them.

i ordered a 3.6m carpet and 25m2 of underlay that was delivered last Thursday and my fitter came on sat. this is where the problems started.

the 2 rolls of underlay did not match each other and were completely different, they had the same label on but one was for garden grass and the other correct for the carpet. i called them but had to go out and source different lower quality underlay locally so my carpet could be fitted. 1st issue

the 2nd issue was even worse, the fitter rolls out the 3.6m carpet i ordered and the label confirmed only to find its 3.42m it just touches the wall. i call them to make sure they would be ok to take it back if the fitter tried to make it fit but it didnt. they refused they wanted me to live with my lounge furniture all over my kitchen and hallway and wait for it to go back be inspected and then a new piece sent out so basically a couple of weeks. costing me time and money. i requested a manager call me back but none work on the weekend so i asked for a manager call back on monday. this never happened.

my fitter fitted the carpet but due to the stretch and size he had to glue the ends down so it stayed gripped onto the gripper.

online carpets refunded me for the underlay which was less than i had to pay locally for lower quality so im out of pocket there. i sent them pics of the short carpet with measurements and pics of tape measure but still nothing. no apology offer of comp or even a refund for the carpet they didn't provide.

i used to recommend online carpets to everyone but it would seem that with there increase in advertising everywhere they have failed to keep up the minimum expected levels of service so all i can say to everyone now is literally go anywhere else. for them to mess up both items on one order is poor service and to look at all the one star reviews that are appearing now it seems they not only have warehouse problems but after sale problems as well but continue to let customers down.

Ordered a 5.4m x 4m carpet directly from Online Carpets. The carpet arrived with a single driver who was unable to remove it from the van without my assistance. I am 5'1" and was not expecting to be required to help unload and carry a large, heavy carpet in order to receive my order.

There were no access issues whatsoever at my property. The issue was simply the size and weight of the carpet and the fact that only one driver was assigned.

Following a complaint, Online Carpets confirmed that their service is a one-person delivery service and that customers may be required to provide assistance with larger items. They also confirmed that if assistance had not been available, the delivery would have been aborted and the carpet returned until suitable assistance or lifting equipment could be arranged.

What disappointed me most was that their terms state that delivery is "in most cases" to the external front door, yet I was later told that the driver bringing the carpet beyond the kerbside was effectively a courtesy.

The carpet itself is fine, but the delivery experience and subsequent handling of my complaint mean I would not order directly from Online Carpets again.

I received a great carpet at a good price. Delivery was good too.

Online Carpets (Sasina) was most helpful in Ordering and arranging Delivery on preferred date. Unfortunately the Courier Co DX Freight failed.
I wouldn't hesitate to Recommend Online Carpets.
But, beware the Courier!

Ordered from here the other month. The whole downstairs has been redone with wood laminate. It’s really good quality and much cheaper than the shops. Would definitely recommend. The delivery was nice and quick too.

All in all a great experience. Carpets exactly as expected, as per the samples. The delivery driver was really helpful I won’t be using any other company.

Delivered with care. Excellent carpet quality. The measurements for the staircase were provided exactly, and the cut fit perfectly. We took the risk and are very pleased with the outcome. For this result, we followed the instructions on the online site for these measurements.

This is the second time we have ordered laminate flooring from Online Carpets. On both occasions {different rooms} we ordered samples which arrived really quickly allowing us to see the quality and choose the colour flooring. The quality of the 12mm laminate is once again excellent. Our Carpenter was impressed with the quality. His opinion was, it will last for years. This looks good now it is down beautiful colour. I will return to this company again when I do upstairs rooms. I would highly recommend. You can't go wrong. Quality and excellent service. Thank you
