Protect your business
Payl8r is a payment option my business has offered to clients since I have used a booking and client management profile called FACES. At the point of setting this option up Payl8r has managed to link a completely different company and this companies bank details to my profile. All the clients who were approved for the credit - their payments have gone to this other company’s account. When the issue was brought to my attention by a client who noticed on her credit agreement that I was not listed as the service provider and neither was my company name I have been chasing the booking platform and have had no resolution. I have not been paid. I even at one pint was told to contact my client so she can pay me directly. My understanding is that is is a huge GDPR breach, there is a lack of acknowledgement for the handling of my clients personal data as this third company has received confirmation of their approval instead of me and the FCA rules would indicate that these contracts are void. I have not been paid for my services. I have not been contacted by anyone from Payl8r despite FACES dealing with the issue. I will be contacting the ICO and I expect a full investigation.

Crazy crazy interest, wanted a 5k watch, put 2k deposit down and thought I’d take the rest on payl8r, the interest they show you compared to what they actually give you when app is approved is crazy to borrow 3k over 24months they wanted over 7k we decided obvs not to go ahead absolutely mad, in regards to the reply below, this isn’t true the amount repayable was 304 per months over 24 months which is 7k

In line with our regulatory requirements, we conduct credit and affordability checks and the interest rate offered is based on the outcome of these checks. However, we provide a full breakdown of the interest and the amount repayable as part of the application process, so customer's can make an informed decision about whether they wish to proceed.

So far first payment was taken on time so I no longer have to worry about any possible issues incurring costs as it’s paid I was nervous about the possibility it might not of gone out in time however I spoke with a lady from the company and she said it will be taken tonight I was expecting it coming out first thing 9am but it was around the time the lady quoted so far so good 😊
