The job was completed quickly. Billy was friendly and helpful. Would use RAC again.

Spent a long time stood at his van or sat in my car I eventually went out and asked his things were going and mentioned I had a security cam and suddenly he looked busy I he ad a feeling my drop link needed attention but since he “serviced “ car the noise is a lot worse abs will now need to be done immediately couldn’t provide a price do going somewhere else and Brake pad and disc was a lot more expensive then local garage

Mobile mechanic came out to change rear brakes and pads.
Due to some reason he was unable to carry out the work and advised it needed to be done by a garage due to not having the required tools to do the job.
However was still charge 99 call out fee despite this been a booked appointment and already paying for rac breakdown cover.
This has been raised as complaint on the 28th August and still had no response even though I have been told it has been escalated 5 times now.
Given it until the end of the week and canceling the policy if I haven't received my 99 back.

I also find it insulting that you state the condition of the vehicle.
Just to add i wont be waiting up to 8 weeks for a response,as mentioned above the policy will be cancelled by the end of the week.

Connor arrived promptly, and was very informative and helpful about all the work he undertook. The replacement of front brake discs and pads was the main item, and was performed very efficiently and in good time. All other items, including new front wipers, fuel efficiency treatment, and key batteries were completed in short order. An excellent mechanic whose work will ensure that I will use your services again.

I was kept in touch throughout the progress of my inability to start mu car. As Ive been in hospital and unable to drive my car for 3 mmonths the battery was dead and another was ordered for the following day.
The mechanic arrived promptly after letting me know thw approximte time of arrival and the battery was fitted without delay,

The engineer turned up was very polite and carried out his work to a very high standard

Brilliant experience with mobile mechanic John. He came to change my break pads. I explained that I was in meetings this morning and he worked around me. Very professional. Im a new driver and he explained how bad my break pads where. Very grateful to John.

Slightly expensive, but good and very professional. Would recommend it for urgent job
