RAC Shop Reviews

Product came quickly and packed very well . One poss issue when scanning the QR code came back as unsecured site so had to search web for instructions . As purchased through a reputable company and product doesn’t come with instructions you need to down load them would have thought site would have been secure.

Ordered a dashcam with fitting bundle, the second one I'd ordered so I knew the process. At the time of ordering the website wasn't showing the bundle broken down in the checkout but from the total (which was more than the previous time of purchase and more than now) it appeared all items were included and had advised that hardwire kits would be included with any fitting orders. Order confirmation came through with everything included on one line so no detail. The hardwire kit didn't turn up with the camera, and the engineer didn't have it either so couldn't have the camera fitted. Contacted RAC shop who said I didn't order one, and didn't seem interested in being helpful. I have asked repeatedly for a refund of the fitting service as it is useless without the hardwire kit, and as far as I am concerned I have already paid for the full bundle over the odds, and would not have paid anything extra for the package since it already cost more than the previous time (or the current price). So far I've either been ignored or told they will contact the supplier to see if it can be cancelled but don't hold out much hope of a helpful service given my experience of the customer service to date. I will be arranging a charge back via credit card, and will never use RAC shop again after this. AVOID unless you want to deal with misleading information and rude customer service.

Great item at a great price. Everything I need to drive in Europe all in a nice compact bag.

A quick and easy purchase with no issues or complaints.

After a neighbour’s car was stolen I felt I should get some protection but I was overwhelmed by the choice and variation in prices of Faraday pouches. I felt I could rely on those sold by the RAC, I trust them implicitly and have had excellent service from them for many years. I used the helpful chatbot too before choosing. I ordered a pouch which was reasonable priced, holds my bulky bunch of keys and arrived very quickly. I’m delighted, and reassured.

Ordered a car battery a couple of days ago. Received an email today stating they have cancelled my order and processed a refund as their supplier won’t supply the battery … AS IT’S TOO HEAVY !!

What a joke, you would think the RAC and their suppliers would know that car batteries are heavy.

Great Value from RAC, fitter they sent was quick, polite and did a great job

Ordered a European car kit. Really impressed with the timely delivery and quality of it.

The engineer attended and quickly fix the car.
The only concern is the window time that they said they will attend in the morning and I took off from work, but they attended afternoon.

I highly recommend rac online shop .
Service and quality top class I'm very pleased with overall. Quality installation of my dashcam and on top stuff.

I called RAC shop when purchasing the Road Hero space saver wheel kit to check it was the right one for my vehicle as some retailers websites didn't make this clear. They were very helpful and it arrived within 2 days. Great service.

The delivery was on time. Driving kit quality is great. Stay legal, trust RAC.

Easy to order, prompt delivery and fitting. Thank you.

I needed a replacement battery after the old one had given up the ghost after ten years. I submitted my details online and chose a 2pm to 5pm slot for the patrol to come to my house and put in the new battery. No one turned up which wasn't an issue for me as I was at home and didn't need the car. A girl rang me around 9 that evening to ask if the patrol had turned up. She was apologetic when she found out it hadn't and rearranged it to be fitted tomorrow morning. This was indeed what happened and the patrolman was very polite and professional. All in all a good experience but it might have been different if I needed the car the day the patrol person didn't turn up.

Easy to order, quick delivery and painless online experience. Fab car mats, looks really smart, well made and fit perfectly! Love the little grey trim round the edge. Great value for money too!

This is a good product and I purchased it to replace an old and outdated "other" breakdown package but the tracking of the parcel was annoying and not very efficient

The ordering process was okay, however I discovered afterwards that there was a discount if you had purchased breakdown coverage. Despite asking twice, they refused to apply the discount to my order. To me it was just a matter of making a small refund on my card.

Trusted company that did not let me down

I have a trip across Europe looming and this was the perfect kit for multiple countries and requirements... It is packed already and just hoping I don't need it :)
