Terrible Customer Service

The platform itself is great and works (most of the time). However if you need support and you are not in the UK, then I pray for you. The support I have received using Radio.co has been subpar at best and honestly completely inadequate. I get 1 response per 24hrs and takes a week or more to try troubleshoot issues. I would NOT recommend Radio.co to anyone outside the UK

Update: I was assured by someone on Saturday that this case would be escalated to their development team, only to find out today the Tuesday morning that they had not done so. The Customer rep seems totally oblivious to the fact that time is money in radio. I have changed my review to a 1 star to reflect how poor this service actually is

I canceled my subscription and some how…

I canceled my subscription and some how I was still charged. I contacted customer support as soon as I found out, only to be informed that my subscription was not canceled and I was not able to get a refund. I would not recommend this company I could not get my card details deleted.

I wanted to clarify what happened with your subscription. The payment due on June 12th didn’t go through initially due to a declined card, but our system successfully processed it during a retry on June 16th.

On June 17th, my colleague cancelled your subscription, as we hadn’t received a cancellation request from you before then. Since the subscription was still active at the time, the payment was taken automatically.

Our refund policy only allows us to offer refunds within 24 hours of the first subscription payment, which helps us keep things consistent and fair for all our users. Unfortunately since this was your 2nd subscription payment, you don't meet this criteria.

I hope this clears things up, and I appreciate your understanding. Wishing you all the best with your future broadcasting projects!

Terrible experience with Radio.co

Terrible experience with Radio.co – System failures, inaccurate metrics and zero accountability

We’ve been using Radio.co for some time now, and honestly, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The platform has suffered repeated outages without prior warning, and the most recent incident left us off-air for four full days, including an entire weekend. The response from their team was virtually non-existent, claiming that “there’s no technical support on weekends” — even though the issue was clearly caused by a poorly managed server migration on their part.

To make matters worse, the audience metrics they provide are completely unreliable. We’ve cross-checked their figures with external tools, and they bear no relation to reality. Not only does this make it impossible to make informed decisions, but it also damages the professional credibility of any broadcaster relying on their reports.

And despite all of this, they’ve refused to issue a refund for the month, even though the service was down and the fault was entirely theirs. Their only “solution” was to offer a free month — something that, after this experience, is of little value.

In short, Radio.co has shown a complete lack of professionalism, transparency and customer care. If you’re considering this platform for your station, my advice is simple: look elsewhere and choose a provider that actually values reliability and client trust.

Lessons

Radio.co. One of the best services I have used. Easy to use radio anywhere platform ready when you are, upload your songs or content and watch it play out with minimal effort. They offer great courses for beginners and have the depth of talent to help you solve any issues. I had my station on there for four months and left because of my own personal reasons, the company is perfect for anyone looking to build or learn more about radio.

Fraudulent

We provided our card privately to the company so we never agreed to any terms when making payment; it was all done off the app (didnt we?). They charged our card without authorisation a year after. Billing cycle was 28th April 2024- 28th April 2025. We formally sent an email on 28th April 2025 for cancellation, but they went ahead to charge our card that was provided privately, not on the app, days later. We formally requested to cancel within hours of the invoice being sent to us via email. As confirmed by them, an invoice was sent on the 27th feb 2025. Initially, we felt since our card was provided privately, all we had to do was to cancel on the app and stop using the service, which we did 6 months earlier. We cancelled the subscription over 6 months before renewal on the APP. We didnt ask for a refund as the 6 months were paid for in advance, as we wanted to just move on and find a better service. However they would not allow this, They fraudulently changed the account to a managed account on the app to deceive us that the cancellation is done and went ahead to charge a card we provided in trust (privately) to them, despite the fact that we have not used the account for over 6 months which we paid for (after cancelling on the app) as it didnt serve us. We have the evidence to prove the account was not in use 6 months before the billing date. They try by all means to continue charging our cards even when their service do not meet our needs. All they wanted was our money; they are not concerned that we paid for a service, and we never used it from day 1. We paid for the addon (1-year payment) as advised by them, but we never used it for a single day. They never asked us why, but charged us again the following year without authorisation. The funny part of all this is: They agreed to cancel our account immediately we raised concerns via email on 28th Feb 2025, but they said they would not refund the money they took from our card for services from Feb 28 2025, till Feb 28 2026. I have never seen a company as fraudulent as this, ready to take payment and not ready to offer the service. They never asked us if there was any challenge with the services we paid for the previous year and did not use for a single day. They do not care about their service; it is all about taking money, and they would attempt to use the small print. In our case, we would make sure we recover our money from this fraudulent company. Please run away from them. They claimed we understand the process of renewal, and this has not changed, as we paid for 4 years prior. We paid the previous year after months of a cancelled account, and we never agreed to any small print, as they manually charged our card after a few exchanges of emails without telling us they would do the same after a year. At no point did they inform us about this.

"Payment will be collected automatically on the specified billing date, either one month or one year from the initial payment date, and will continue until a cancellation request is received via the correct method (see Cancellations below)."

I understand you've been with Radio.co for 4 years now, and therefore understand the process of renewal (which hasn't changed).

It's a shame to see you feel the need to discredit the company by advising you cancelled 6 months prior. I can see you tried to cancel by emailing us the morning after the payment was taken, but of course this wasn't something we could go back in time and change. We have however taken your cancellation request and cancelled your subscription to prevent further charges.

Superior Customer Service, Worldwide!

Radio.co's customer service is fantastic! I'm across the pond and they are still able to help me with technical issues, or with app development at times that are convenient to me. I just chatted with Edward and he was able to help get me going with developing an app for my station. He answered all of my questions and laid out a plan of action for me. Also, all of the Support Team members that I've chatted with have been extremely helpful. Edward, Callum, Qasim, and Nathan have been excellent! Keep up the great work team!

Follow-Up Review of Radio.co – A Correction and a Well-Deserved Praise

After taking some time to reflect on my previous review of Radio.co, I realize that I allowed my emotions to cloud my judgment. I had a concern that I felt wasn’t being addressed quickly enough, and I reacted out of frustration. However, in truth, Radio.co responded with incredible speed and professionalism, going above and beyond to resolve my issue.

I must also acknowledge that my frustration stemmed from a past experience with a completely different company—one that refused to stop charging my credit card despite multiple requests. Unfortunately, I let that previous situation influence my perception of Radio.co, which was unfair to them.

The reality is, I have been associated and affiliated with an organization that has had a fully functioning radio station on Radio.co for more than two years. Their service has been reliable, and their platform has allowed for seamless broadcasting. The team at Radio.co genuinely cares about their customers and works hard to provide solutions efficiently.

I sincerely appreciate their patience and their commitment to excellent customer service. If you’re looking for a solid, dependable online radio platform, I wholeheartedly recommend Radio.co. They’ve earned my trust and respect, and I regret my initial negative review.

Starting an Internet Radio Station

I looked into Internet Radio last year as a possible long term project for myself and my partner’s grandson. The grandson is very interested in electronics.

After researching the various Companies I settled on Radio.co and after watching their videos regarding setting up an Internet Radio Station I am very pleased with their support.

I have written many emails to the Team at Radio.co and have always received a prompt and very helpful reply.

I am also developing my website to work alongside Radio.co

The ‘Dashboard’ layout on the radio station is excellent and straightforward to use, I am learning more through all of their instructional videos.

I am hoping to launch my Internet Radio Station in March 2025, and things are continuing to progress well with all the support from Radio.co
