I recently received a new 101 Pro router from your store as a replacement for my previous router. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing ongoing connectivity issues since I started using it.

Every time I reboot or perform a factory reset on the router, it takes an unusually long time to establish a connection. In some cases, it remains disconnected for over an hour before finally connecting. I have also noticed that even when I leave the router powered on overnight, it is often still not connected by the next morning. Instead, the router continuously displays a QR code with the message "Scan for Support," and only reconnects much later.

This has become extremely frustrating and inconvenient. I expected the router to reconnect almost immediately after a reboot and to maintain a stable connection while powered on. My previous router never exhibited these issues, which leads me to believe that this replacement device may be faulty.

I only received this replacement router last Thursday, so I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue as a matter of urgency and advise on a permanent solution. If the router is found to be faulty, I kindly request that it be replaced.

I look forward to your prompt response, as this issue is significantly affecting my ability to use your service reliably.

Busiswa Mashiqa was of great help. I was stressing about this internet connection for months now but she quickly put me at ease with her bubbly personality and gave me alternative options that is available to me. When I pick up the phone I am normally very apprehensive but Busiswa Mashiqa showed that good service still exist.

I wish everything was as easy as signing up with Rain!

The wifi speed advertised aren't want i was getting for exp they say 60Mbs for download i would only get 20Mbs for download and the connection was bad never buy rain it is the worst. And the cancelation was horrible they didn't pick up my calls after the first time I told them I want a cancelation and they didn't cancel it for like a week worst experience ever

Truly 1 of the most pathetic connection services out there. We have never been able to use the wifi without it cutting out every few minutes (8months) every complaint nothing changes. Your lucky to get a call back when you "log a ticket". Absolutely pathetic

So I make a review is the only reply I get from rain.. 8 months of no resolution but post public and you suddenly want to jump through hoops. Waist of time

In my experience, Rain is the worst network provider I have ever used. It is extremely frustrating to pay your monthly bill on time and still experience network issues every single day. The service is unreliable, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Avoid this provider if you want a stable internet connection

Avoid Rain. 🙅🏽‍♂️ Using Rain has been a costly mistake for me. The signal is unreliable, customer service is poor, and the overall experience has been frustrating. There are better alternatives choosing Rain was one of the worst decisions I’ve made.

Horrible cancellation process*
Requested cancellation in 2025. Was told it was done. Months later they’re still billing and now want R10,000 to cancel an account that hasn’t been used. Service team gives you the run-around. Shocking service. Do not recommend.

The consultant was really friendly,it didn’t even sound like a sales speech

I have been using this service for about 2 years now, first 3 to 6 months was the best, proper internet connection ction, no hassle.

But after the first 6 months, i have been subjected to poor internet service, in a month I'd get average internet connection, for the rest of the month leading up to the payment date the service is absolutely appalling. My plan caps my speeds at 30mbps but my speed tests show results of 0mbps, the highest i would get is 3 mbps.

Every month this cycle repeats, every customer support agent i have spoken to keeps on repeating the same script, telling me that my tower is far (2km distance by the way), or that my connection will be disturbed if there is any scheduled maintenance on said tower. Maybe Rain does do maintenance on their towers every month at the exact same time(such is the trend of my internet service, well lack thereof).

Whats painful is that Rain debits close to 700 rands per month, in full. No excuses, but the service i receive i absolutely pathetic and i am certainly on the brink of switching networks because this is absolutely frustrating and a waste of hard earned money.
Mind you, Rain, i use your internet(which does not exist for half of the month) to work and earn my living, this service has now become an inconvenience.
I dont even want to get started on the WhatsApp chat line, the most useless thing ever.

Busiswa did an excellent job at assisting me and was very thorough when going through the processes of getting a new sim card. Very happy.

Rain is Incredible, not only did Fikiswa call me back within 5 minutes of me requesting a call back online to discuss their products, but she was so professional, willing to help and caring that I signed up, which was so easy, paid online and within half an hour I got a call from a chap called Linda to deliver my router. Fikiswa had said it would take 3-5 working days and within 2 hours of first contact I was back on WiFi! I am blown away and will definitely tell others about Rain, well done!

The best customer service I have ever experienced. My expectations was met no unnecessary explanation s or terms and conditions requested a call and within 5 minutes all my needs was taken care of.

Very useless customer service ,and the so called retention team , they have added a service on my account and hike my bill .I asked them to remove the service and fix my bill. it has been more than a week of me following up everyday without success
