No explanation or receipt for $35 to open CU account for refi
While the refi process was pretty straight forward, Kathryn sent me an email with the remaining items needed. I was told I had to pay a $35 deposit to open an account with the credit union doing my refi. Even the "receipt" on the website indicated it was a deposit for the CU account. When I finally accessed that new account 1.5 months later, only $5.00 had been deposited. I emailed both my rep Sunny and Kathryn but received no receipt or explanation for what the $30.00 was for and no response to multiple requests for an actual receipt. Can you say scam?

Ann McKinley helped me throughout my whole car refinance process and I could have not been more thankful. She went above and beyond for me and was able to get me a loan with the credit union of my choice and a new lower rate. AWESOME COMMUNICATION
From start to end everything was great! They made the process very easy, and I was connected to a great lender within a couple of days. Within a week, my loan was secured, and couldn't be happier with the result. The staff was very friendly, helpful in understanding the process, and made it a seamless process.I gave this company 5 stars because they very professional and they made sure I got the right financial company I needed to suit my refinancing needs. I really appreciate Rategenius for their complete accuracy as I switched from my old high interest rate company to a lower interest rate company that they recommended I try.
