Talha isn’t very common name but anyway that’s not my experience but it’s really hard to verify and update your details on app,I have been trying but no support or help.

I had to contact customer service at least 5 to 6 times, and the entire experience was unacceptable.
It started with my profile not updating. I was then asked to share personal details via chat, which is a serious concern in itself. When I tried to send money, the app kept asking for ID verification repeatedly, even after I had already uploaded it. Every time I contacted support, I was given the same excuse that the app was “being updated.”
A few days later, an agent called to confirm everything was fixed. That was not the case. When I tried again, the promised first-time bonus rate was not applied, even though it was clearly shown before proceeding. I spent over an hour on the phone, and no one could explain it. I was simply told, “This is what it is.”
I then transferred around £1000, only for the transaction to be put on hold. On top of that, although I made the payment from my account, it was processed as a credit card transaction, resulting in unexpected foreign transaction fees. I had to call multiple times again and was asked to submit documents. My utility bill was initially accepted, but I then received a call at 1 am asking for a bank statement instead, which made no sense given the payment method.
To make things worse, the agent who called spoke in Urdu, struggled to communicate clearly in English, and did not appear to be UK-based. This raised serious concerns about where my data is being handled and by whom.
This experience was chaotic, inconsistent, and highly unprofessional. Too many red flags, poor communication, and no accountability. Avoid this service.

I’m happy to share that the refund has been successful. I’m very grateful to the team for making this possible.
The interesting thing is I’ve used your services since July 2025 and this is the first time I’m encountering a problem of this sort. I’m not deleting or logging out of my account, but will continue to use your services therefore below are a few suggestions to help increase the credibility of your business:
1. Kindly incorporate a system where unsuccessful transactions are detected early before the client gets in touch.
2. Be first to alert the client about unsuccessful transactions since dealing with money transaction is a delicate business and you don’t want your clients to be frustrated like what I went through.
3. I suggest your customer service agents forward a persistent complain or concern from a client, like my case, to a supervisor who should get in touch as soon as possible to resolve the issue.

Worse customer service
I made a transaction on last year September to an account it didn’t went through to the account they said they will refund it till now they never refunded it.just 4/4/26 I did a transfer and is held with their reason that they don’t do business transfer so I should give a personal account to be transferred to which I have provided.one of the team shouted at me and hang the call on me Friday.i have called to follow the transaction but is like they don’t want to do it neither will they refund it but this money am not going to leave it until they do the right thing.I used to love it but because of their customer care never after they proceed my transfer to the receiver

Remit Home hasn't been fair with me, there was a transaction (MWGH0802316532) I made on February 27th that was cancelled, but I haven't received a refund yet. I have been followng up consistently since the date of the transaction through your support line, text messages, and emails, yet the issue remains unresolved. As of today, April 10, 2026, it has been over six weeks, which far exceeds the standard processing time for refunds. the only responses I always get from them is, Your refund is currently being processed. Our refund team is completing the necessary verification, the full amount will be returned to your UK bank account. What at all is going on? Is deep frustration.

I am completely dissatisfied with this service due to both slow transfer times and poor customer support.
I sent money to Pakistan through this platform, and it has now been over 36 hours with no completion of the transaction. In comparison, other services provide near instant transfers, making this delay unacceptable.
Customer service has also been highly disappointing. The responses are repetitive and unhelpful, with agents simply stating that the transaction is “in progress” or blaming a “link error,” without providing any meaningful updates or resolution.
Additionally, I have serious concerns about the transparency of this company’s operations. Funds appear to be received from local bank accounts rather than through a clear and direct transfer process. This raises questions about how transactions are being handled.
Furthermore, publicly available information indicates that the company (Remit Home) was dissolved in 2024 according to Companies House records, which significantly increases concerns regarding reliability and security.
Overall, this experience has been stressful and frustrating. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when using this service. I am still waiting to receive my funds and hope the transaction is completed soon
