I was very surprised to get such a prompt response, after a quick call to yourselves I was given a 7.15 appointment for the next day from Hotpoint. They were excellent and the problem of a loose wire was fixed before lunchtime. They gave me lots of advice on using and cleaning the machine. Excellent

I found repair and maintain when my freezer stopped cooling, and Wayne came out to take a look. He was polite and helpful, explained the problem clearly, and managed to get the freezer running again the same day. That was a huge relief, especially with the food inside. Really appreciate the quick and professional help.

Over the past 5 years the gentlemen called Carl has been very helpful, patience, knowledgeable and gave excellent customer service and went the extra mile with me. I can only highly recommend him and the company to people. A great job well done. David Wright

Technician arrived on time, explained the problem and fixed it swiftly.

The repair took a little longer than I had originally expected because the required part wasn't available right away, but the wait was worth it. The repair was completed to a high standard, and everything is working as it should. The technician was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. Overall, I'm pleased with the service and glad to have everything sorted.

I’ve been using their cover plan for the past two years and have needed to contact them twice during that time. On both occasions, the process was straightforward and hassle-free. An engineer was arranged quickly, and the repairs were completed without any complications. It’s reassuring to know that if something breaks down, I can simply give them a call and have it dealt with promptly. Overall, I’ve found the plan to be good value for the peace of mind it provides.

THEY CANCELLED REPAIR AFTER GETTING THE WRONG PARTS. THEY ARE STILL TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT THROUGH A ONE OFF REPAIR FEE AND MONTHLY DIRECT DEBIT. WHAT ARE YOU INSURING?
After 4 weeks without an Oven. The Repair has been cancelled and I've also been charged for the benefit!!!

MY Tenant has been let down once again. Engineer said booked for 6 July 2026 then today. Didn't turn up and told them no availability.

The company's phone lines are down too.
My tenant and their young family have been without a oven since last week.

I even took out a service plan with these guys not knowing how useless they would be.

I've emailed them now and have no response.

They are stressing me out and causing my health to go downhill (I'm recovering from an operation).

If I could give no stars I would. .

I've had an update from Craig who works at the company trying to inform me that an Engineer has been trying to get in touch with my tenants to arrange an appointment. I rang my tenants and they have answered the phone straight away and have told me no Engineer has called them today. Anyway I passed on a number of an Engineer so that my tenants can arrange an appointment ASAP.

They've told me the earliest appointment is next Tuesday.
Hopefully they will fix the oven!

"The Engineer came today Friday however I have had an message from my tenant telling me the Engineer was told the hob required repairing not the oven .
The bloke has come out for the cooker. On his work sheet it had shown the hob replacement not the oven. He has said it will take 4 to 5 days to get a email authorisation to order the part. Then he can order the part when he is told to do so. He has taken pictures and he said we are looking to take 7 to 10 days. Can you have have a word with them. He said he could of brought the correct parts out to but from his office it said the hob was being replaced. We are looking at another week now with no oven. We can't keep affording to buy take away food for the kids".

Engineer has just been 28/07/2026
The Engineer ordered the partial part ie the knob however the selector unit was either missing or wasn't ordered. I am out of pocket already as I've paid £100 from my own pocket to the tenant as compensation. It will be almost 4weeks for my tenants without an oven because the company is messing me about and are incompetent!

Springplans part of Repair and Maintain have today replied to my complaint and have cancelled the repair. They are charging me £59 for Engineer diagnosis of the oven problem (THE PROBLEM HAD ALREADY BEEN DIAGNOSED)

One month without an Oven. I will take this further!

Quick and efficient service they say absolute rubbish. I contacted this company February 16th to have my washing machine fixed. I was told for £139 my washer would be fixed in 48hrs, what a joke. Fast forward to March 23rd weeks without a washing machine weeks of being lied too weeks of stress to be told we can’t fix your washing machine. They told me they would refund me my £139 minus £59 because they had to call an engineer in the first place. They have zero customer service skills not at all bothered about the customer it’s all about them. So after all these weeks without a washing machine and all the stress it caused me it cost me £59 for the pleasure, this company are an absolute disgrace, worst company I’ve had to deal with in my life.

Came out to the following day to repair. Flat rate with no hidden fees. Repair man knew exactly what to do and got the job done very quickly, even ordered a new panel to our home for us at no extra charge as ours kept falling off. Thank you very much!

Booked repair on 10th November, good communication with time and date. Engineer arrived within given time window on 13th November and it was fixed in less than an hour.

This company claims to be quick and efficient, but they took 9 days to repair my washing machine. The engineer assigned to my repair was asked several times to call me but he did not. I didn’t know when he was coming and that made it difficult for me to make any other arrangements

Unscrupulous Company Beware

This company is meant to provide a fixed cost that covers call out, assessment, parts and labour via their network of experienced engineers.

They agreed a price with my mum to fix her oven for £199.

What happened is that they then booked in the repair with NAC, a third party. They paid them £100, spent 50 on a part, and made £50. Instead of just referring my mum direct to NAC to book in the repair which they easily could have done.

The contractor arrived, fixed the oven which was a very easy fix and asked mum to pay for the part. However, once he found out how she had been treated and how much she paid for a call out, he wouldn't accept the payment for the part. As he is a kind and honest man and said he can't bear people being taken advantage of.

After Mum realised she had paid over the odds for someone to book in a job she could have done directly, she contacted the company and explained this. Their answer "well you agreed to it".

My 87 year old mother was crying on the phone upset that she had been taken advantage of, and they did not care.

They did not arrange a fixed price repair as advertised, including parts. They didn't refer her to a company to book direct. They didn't send their own contractor. They took £50 of her money simply to book this in themselves online as if they were the customer.

No terms and conditions were ever supplied.

This is sharp and immoral practice and we will be reporting this company to trading standards if it is not resolved in a fair way.
