The property search agent did everything we asked, kept in touch and forwarded emails between vendor and purchaser when requested to speed things along. Communication was prompt, clear and direct.

Very nice people who are very pleasant, kind, sympathetic and helpful, they speak extremely well to a high degree, Rachel and Laura to name two. If you need to buy or sell a retirement property, this should be your first port of call, nothing is too much trouble.

we found the property online and made an offer from then on i dealt with Charlotte who has been very helpful in putting forward my initial offer to ensuring that the sale went through smoothly.
from a personal standpoint Charlotte in my opinion went above and beyond what i expected as this sale was very important to us as a family as we were purchasing this property for my disabled mum and Charlotte was always on hand to help and in many instances resolved a lot of our issues early on in the process.

I recently used Retirement Homesearch and sadly had a very disappointing experience overall. The sales negotiator Mandy at the start was excellent, prompt, professional and really supportive, which gave me confidence initially.

However, the sales progressor completely let the process down. She has I believe an unprofessional voicemail explaining that she’s usually on hold to solicitors for long periods, so it’s best to email any questions as she can answer those while waiting. This felt unacceptable, especially given that Retirement Homesearch is meant to specialise in supporting older people moving into retirement properties.

There was no real understanding or compassion for the fact that this was an 80-year-old moving into a retirement flat. Shockingly, the progressor thought it was perfectly reasonable to exchange and complete within 24 hours, purely because both the agent and the seller’s solicitor failed to manage the process properly from the start.

All in all, despite the good start from the Mandy, the overall service was very poor, and I would not recommend this agency, particularly for those who need the care and patience you would expect when buying a retirement home.

Very good experience selling probate flat in Cheltenham with Retirement Homesearch. Rachel Hazell was great, as was Dawn Burrows - our invaluable 'home progressor'. She was so kind and responsive and excellent go-between for us and our buyer solicitor. She also kept me sane when our conveyancers (DC Law/Simplify - don't use them!) were awful and doing nothing for 2 months..
