We had no health issues while travelling and therefore did not activate a claim process but it was comforting to know we had the backup in case of need

Getting cover seemed an easy process and I didn’t have to claim ( never have) I would hope that if a claim was needed that the process would be as easy as obtaining the cover- thanks

I enjoyed an incident-free journey to Europe, so there was no need to make a claim for any part of my travel experience.
I found SCTI staff to be courteous &helpful, during the enquiry stage of my journey. Talking me through the policy highlighted several aspects I had missed & the inclusion, for example, a scooter tour in Rome, was a reasonably priced extra.
Primarily travelling to participate in a sporting event for which I wanted 'cover' (& which was excluded with several other providers), the premium was competitively priced for someone over 70!

Luckily we did not need to call on the insurance for this holiday.
We always use SCTI as their site is easy to use and the rates are very competitive.

At the time of looking at insurance for our overseas trip to South Africa, Southern Cross supplied us with what we needed. The website and quote process was simple and easy to follow. Price wise Southern Cross were consistent with other insurance companies (though in some instances - were cheaper)
Luckily we did not need to claim for any incidents, our trip went smoothly.

Even though we are in our mid seventies it was an easy fuss free straight forward matter to connect with Southern Cross and obtain our travel insurance ,no better words can be used to describe our dealings so buy your insurance in confidence (we did)

Seemed relatively easy to step through the process of buying the insurance. I had to pay an extra $10 for cover of a pre existing medical condition which I thought was pretty reasonable. I didn't have to use any part of the insurance so can't comment on how easy it is to claim etc.

I never had to claim insurance, but gave four stars as I had a flight delayed which meant I missed a connection and almost immediately I received an email from Southern Cross with vouchers.
The vouchers were Woolworths and Uber which unfortunately you can't use in Singapore or Thailand. where I was. The thought was there I suppose

Didn't need to make a claim, so my experience is pretty limited - it's always how things play out when you need to make a claim that you find out what your insurer is really like.....

This time around I didn’t need to claim but few years ago after falling from a bike in New York I was looked after amazingly. I was flown back home in business as i couldn’t sit , got great accommodation while waiting for flight and this experience left me very greatful.

When our flights got delayed by iver 2 hours we got gift vouchers and it was very easy to claim.

Easy to choose packages online. Quick sending of documents and and follow up of extras that Southern cross offered with the policy.

Quick and easy to sign up, and reasonably priced.
I did not make a claim so I can't comment on that process.

Easy and quick to organize travel insurance. Thankfully no need to make a claim but is a piece of mind to know its there if required.

Was easy to deal with and offered a phone roaming package. Also flight delay help
