Do not waste your time. All the book buying companies seem to use the same software and its a stupid game:
Start scanning books and it'll offer you 50p each for the first 4 or 5 and then drop to maybe 10p for the next one and then it'll stop offering. Or maybe it'll take one in 10 if you are lucky. So you can't reach the required 10 books or £5 in value to check out.
So empty the basket and start scanning again but starting with the books it just rejected and it will offer to buy the first 4 or 5; but here's the kicker: then if you move on to scanning the bookes it made an offer on not 5 minutes earlie it will now reject them so you are back to square one with only 4 or 5 in the basket and unable to check out.
It is almost impossible to get it up to the required 10 books/£5. Its a stupid game & I'd advise don't waste your time playing it.

I've been asked to provide more information for this review & told that if I don't it might get taken down. I really don't see what could be clearer except that I can add the following just to ice the cake:
A couple of days after this I tried again and I did finally get it to accept a basketful of books & checked it out for a massive £5.42. I was offered 2 shipping options, take it to an Evri Depot or have them collected from my home & someone would contact me to arrange that.
I chose the latter & I'm still waiting.....except I'm not because I got bored and gave the books to a charity shop instead.
I also absolutely stand by the title of this review, the process of trying to sell these people books is tortuous at best and the amounts offered are so derisory that its better to save the time and give the things away to a good cause. I will not be using them again. It is indeed a complete waste of time.

Atrocious APP. Very clunky and slow, would let me register. Had 9 items in my basket ready to trade but needed a 10th, got the other book. Had to uninstall and reinstall and suddenly 4 items were no longer suitable. Uninstall ed app and won't be back.

Since the latest update to the App if I scan a book it won't let me delete it from my basket. I've deleted the App and reinstalled it but to no avail. I therefore need to delete the app, reinstall it and then rescan any books that were in my basket often finding I'm been offered less than when I previously scanned them.

I have been trading with this company for almost 10 months and have experienced improved customer relations over that time. I've always found them quick and eager to respond to both email/telephone requests for help and nearly always with a highly satisfactory outcome.
Overall, a great team to deal with.

I have traded with them several times over the last 6 months and I must say I'm very disappointed alround.
As other people say the app is very slow and what is extremely frustating is that once you get an offer on books, you assume its locked/fixed until posting.Sadly this isn't the case.
More often than not the following day the prices have reduced or reset to zero.So you have to start all over again scanning...very unhelpful.
Whilst I realise prices reflect demand and status, other online competitors usually pay considerably more for like items...so not a good recomendation.
Also, parcels seem to take ages to arrive and I usually have speak with an agent about this problem each time.
Finally, the customer service Tel Number on the app is incorrect/unobtainable this has been bought to your attention several times previously and still not rectified.
Therefore I can only give 2stars which is being generous.

First, the app is shockingly slow to scan anything, making trying to sell a bunch of things really quite painful. Also I'm actually trying to complete my 1st trade and stuck at the checkout as it tells me I need to 'please fill in all PayPal fields'. However there are only 2 fields to complete, my email address twice, which I've checked is identical. So with the error, im stuck. After logging out and in again, I can see that the 'Update' button isn't working and the emails don't save. On a positive note the very few things they have said they'll take their offer price is better that competition.

many items were refused as they did not come up to very high selling recommendations and would not be of retail value all five were sold for between 1& 10 Pence and on checked for the same item on sale on there web page the same items were being sold for 3,7 & 4 Pounds

I am sorry for using them, I have lost valuable books maybe, I have sent 24 items/books and they only pay for 1.
I waited 20 days for them to say that instead of £6.55 they will probably pay (IF) £0.50 .
IN MY OPINION THAT'S THEFT.
