The company is small and new, but so helpful, and easy to deal with. I had a conversation on the phone with a gentleman based in Britain (which is so rare these days) called Shubham who was so helpul and polite. I believe companies like this should be supported as companies based in this country are getting rarer, and the more support they recieve, the more they will be able to help and pay for the items they purchase from us. Overall a fantastic experience 😀!

I've found this company really wonderful to work with. Customer service is excellent with a real person on the other end of the phone to answer queries and sort out any problems, all in a most courteous and friendly manner. I have used other book trade sites and can confidently say that Sell It Back is one of the best out there.
My only wish is that their minimum order wasn't so high at £10 which is double the minimum for other companies. As many books are not taken when scanned or input (No Offer), it sometimes takes a really long time to amass that minimum.
Other than that little issue, my experience rates the 5 stars as I have found transactions with them easy and professional, their resolutions accommodating and flexible, communication top-notch and payment swift.

Sell it back is a great company when it comes to buying books.
I've never had an issue with them, even if my books have gone astray or not reached them after a certain time. They ensure the payment will be honoured.
Emails are answered promptly and I'm always kept up to date either by telephone or email.
Great Service all round - keep it going.

As with all things I like to give an authentic / honest review. I’ve sold shipments to numerous buy secondhand book platforms and I’d recommend SellItBack the most especially if you’d be doing regular shipments.
- App is great & user friendly. Never had any issues with it & customer service info is easily found
- £10 or 10 items to send which I think it’s a great workaround
- Free postage which is amazing
- BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE: If I send a box of books to Sellitback & WeBuyBooks. WeBuyBooks will process it & provide payment a lot quicker than Sellitback. To the point it’s pretty vital to keep your Evri receipts for when emailing Sellitback regarding a shipment. However, this is just considering the happy path scenario. I’ve only had one issue with Sellitback with books getting damaged in shipping. They rang & sorted it immediately. WeBuyBooks even though it’s quick & a loyalty program some of my books I’ve posted have gone “missing”. To the point now I have to take a photo of the shipment as when contacting their customer service they refuse to help. Never once experienced this with Sellitback. I’ve had this with two shipments & 3 books equaling maybe £12 loss from WeBuyBooks. That’s a lot considering they have a £5 limit. So even though it’s a slower process I would pick SellItBack every time. Purely for their consistency, never having issues and excellent customer service
I’d love to see SellItBack bring in its own loyalty program or potentially a price match to other buy back platforms. If they did this it’d be the only platform I’d use.
But overall, I’d highly recommend them. Extremely trust worthy and helpful. Just be patient and keep your postage receipt.

They sent me an email saying there was a problem with 3 of my items, reducing my price from about £20 to £17. I replied to say I was really disappointed with this big drop and they called me straight away to sort it out.
You don't get much for your stuff but if you have enough items it's worth sending to get a few quid, especially as the postage is free.

As others have mentioned Sellitback don't take every books some competitors do but are competitive on price for those they do. There was an issue with one of my books and they got back to me within an hour and things were resolved the same day, excellent customer service!

Customer service is very good.
I have sent several parcels over the last year. Some haven't reached them due to their carrier Evri. When I have contacted them by email they have always responded and today this was by phone. They have always paid out for lost parcels.
I have two suggestions for them:
1. Consider using a different carrier, as Evri clearly has issues in their area. (parcels to other companies via Evri have not been lost).
2. Contact the customer by email when a parcel hasn't been received within a reasonable time after the trade - ie at the point when the app shows "shipment not received".

It appears that books are being damaged to avoid paying for them. I have sent in mint books and it seems as if the spine is being ripped on checking to avoid paying out, same type of damage each time. This is not happening with other competitors, when packaged and sent the same way. It is happening to a large proportion of books, way too many times. I have lost ~£50 plus to inexplicably damaged books. I have given them a chance thinking that it might be damaged in transit, but this no longer makes sense.
DO NOT USE. FIND THEIR COMPETITORS, USE THEM

Sold several books to them and it's been weeks (had to contact them for order say its not been recieved when I sent it several days before) now it says payment scheduled for several days again- contacted them and they said they will contact their payments department and still nothing bearing in mind I sent items to a competitor on the same day and recieved payment weeks ago- unacceptable waiting to get paid so I can delete the app
