Lost ALL my books

Sell to back use Evri who lost 300 books. Sell it back were unconcerned and just offered money after many emails. Customer service is poor to non-existent.

Waste of time, just bin everything instead

I can’t understand how anyone has sold anything, I’ve scanned about 50 books and literally hundreds of CDs of various genres etc and every single one says “no offer”, not even 1p on one item.
Absolute waste of time and effort

Easy to use website

Easy to use website - found that items in cart disappeared & I had to start the list again several times.

Real waste of time

Impossible to complete the process of selling 32 books. Listed them all on two occasions and each time program seized up irretrievably. Total waste of time.
Customer service replied promptly but it didnt solve the issue.

Straightforward to use the app and to find the books that were wanted by scanning/typing the ISBN, but the courier they use (Evri) managed to lose 4 of the 6 boxes I sent. Thankfully, the email enquiry system worked quickly and the lost boxes were followed up by Manjeet who was very helpful. Ultimately, SellItBack were good enough to honour the payment for the lost boxes for which I am grateful. Their payment system is rather slow compared to other similar apps, but not painfully so. But SellItBack lost a star from me because they publish a phone number that is NEVER answered (I tried 3 times a day over several days and the phone just rang via robot voice that ultimately terminated each call) and for having a rubbish call back system that just results in a call 10 mins later with an automated voice telling you "all staff are busy"!?

Cannot scan anything

Cannot scan anything. It keeps saying no internet connection. I don't have any issues with Ziffit etc. Internet fine. Tried manually putting the code in but that didn't work either.

It just gets worse and worse with every…

It just gets worse and worse with every trade it starts off amazing with them being really honest and lovely but then things what I send to them start getting damaged in strange ways what I know that for a fact that they where not having items missing or damaged then you contact them and they say that there is nothing they can do it is a bunch of lying thieves I warn you they might quote you more than somewhere like musicmagpie but there is almost always some sort of issue whether it is a parcel that hasn't arrived or something being damaged you can not trust a company like this just go to webuybooks or ziffit or musicmagpie what don't lie and say something is damaged when it is really not what a waste of books as well because you damage them and then take a photo to make it look like my fault its just a big scam will never sell to them again terrible company if I could I would nor even give them one star

Using Again

Giving an honest review. Used sell it back, because it gave me the best quoted price for my books. Sent the books off and did take at least 10 working days to arrive. Emailed customer service to check where the books were, “Confirmed even if the shipment is lost I would receive my money”. Took an additional few working days for payment to be received, but overall, I always felt confident using sell it back. And already using it again for another book shipment.
