Listed books on app & took to Evri collection.
Didn't hear anything for some time, emailed Sellitback. V prompt reply, they investigated it & decided parcel had been lost. I was paid the agreed sum nevertheless, within a few days.
Will definitely use again.

Frustrating Experience with SellitBack - avoid this company
My recent interaction with SellitBack left me thoroughly disappointed. I sent 48 books and over 50% were rejected for minor cosmetic reasons.
They fail to understand that they are dealing with "Second Hand" books and if there is even a slight defect with the book, even though this would be normal wear and tear, they reject the book and keep the item.
The lack of transparency and genuine engagement from SellitBack was truly disheartening.

Abysmal customer service. Quotes over £11 and sent my books (mostly brand new) and was told I’d only be paid £0.66. My books were then “recycled” without my permission. I suspect they’ve kept them.

Easy to use app and print label for postage.
They accepted books at better prices than some others I tried.
Unfortunately the parcel did not arrive but I emailed, with tracking number and a full payment was made. Excellent customer service

Had an issue with printing the label but their customer service was very good. I just didn't think it was overly clear on the website.
Sadly the box I sent seems to have gotten lost but they quickly responded to my enquiry and are still honouring the agreement for the books sent.

I was pleased that I used this company for selling my books. Having amassed so many, and with charity shops not wanting any more, selling was a better option than recycling. Payment was received promptly. A couple of annoyances. 1, they only offered to buy a third of the books that I had. 2, Parcels are sent to them via the Hermes network. Instead of the expected 2 day delivery, Hermes took 10 days to get the parcel to the destination.

After a previous issue with Sellitback, I decided to use them again for selling books, as they reassured me that:
"While we aim to maintain a competitive edge in terms of payment processing time, a breakdown in the delivery process by Evri resulted in the delay of your payment in this instance".
However, I wont be using them again after my latest experience.
I dropped off my package at my local Evri package shop on 15th July 2023. I contacted Sellitback on both 25th July and 1st August to check on the status of my order. Fortunately, I had retained my Evri receipt, so could use the tracking number to prove that the parcel had been collected by Evri on 17th July. On 1st August, Sellitback told me:
"According to our records, this order has not yet been received at our warehouse but we have processed your payment and marked your parcel as lost".
I was eventually paid on 7th August 2023, six days later, twenty-three days after drop-off at the Evri shop.
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, to have a problem with one delivery may be regarded as a misfortune; for it to happen again looks like carelessness.
I wont be using Sellitback again - there are better alternatives - if you do use them, prepare for a delayed payment and make sure you retain your tracking number.

A poor experience. As a regular user of competitor companies I thought it’d give sell it back a go. However I am very disappointed, the process takes a long time, the price they give is just an estimate and you get books rejected for the tiniest of things. One mark on the book I know wasn’t there when sending. It’s a shame they waste so many books because of this, not very sustainable even if being recycled. In addition, the prices offered are very low compared to others. Won’t be using again

I appreciated the clear communication and swift payment, which was a pleasant surprise. I also think the app was very intuitive and easy to use, and I appreciate it a lot. My only minor gripe - which is not Sellitback's fault, but I do think it would be useful for them to pass this feedback on to the Evri as the recipient (I already got in touch with them as the sender) - is that Evri took much longer than I expected to deliver my box of books to Sellitback, which made me quite anxious as I waited (and heard nothing).
