The four stars represent the overall experience and final result of the insulation and heating work done in our home. To the coordinators Hannah and Steve, I would award a solid 5 stars. Nothing was too much trouble and always there with help and advice. Other commendable parties were Vern, the plumber - a true craftsman. Also the people from Natural spark Electrical, who were very efficient and helpful, and the two guys who did the solar panel installation, a truly amazing performance! At the other end of the scale, we had the the insulation guys. One of them had a bad attitude and to say the least, their working methods and finished results were sloppy. The worst part was the lack of rubbish collection for discarded building materials. After three weeks, you could not with any degree of safety get in through our front gate and there was even rubbish on our neighbour's front parking area! For health and safety reasons, I had to halt all work until it was cleared. But yes, we are pleased with the end result and the added insulation makes the house noticeably warmer. The jury is still out on the heat pump performance. On 'normal' chilly days, the system provides enough gentle heat. But during recent 'Storm Bert' we had to turn off half the radiators and hole up in just a couple of rooms to keep warm... and we live in the warmer SW and didn't even get any snow.

Tony, Gareth and Charlie did a fabulous job. They were very professional from start to finish, they completed the job in the time scale as promised. Always very polite and hard working. Thank you

Tom and Cian did a marvellous job. Completed in four days as promised. The installation is great! I would highly recommend it to anyone. Very friendly and polite. Left the house clean as expected.

The installation team, Shane and Mike, were friendly and professional and the work has been completed to a high standard.
Sine the intallation I have noticed a massive difference in heat retention which will lead to lower bills.

Outstanding service, Craig, Max, Daniel were absolutely amazing, understanding of personal circumstances to health issues in the house and worked round this, very polite and knowledgeable in what they were doing, talked through everything with us, approachable and friendly very tidy and professional excellent service and work would highly recommend.

From the moment Smart Energy Homes made contact they have been nothing but Professional , Friendly and thorough with their guidance and planning of every step during the process a big thanks goes to Christian, Gary and especially Neil Llewellyn.

Big shout out to Luke the plumber who spotted we had a gas leak in the property with seconds of entering the house. 👏👏

But the biggest round of applause has to go to Jacob and Owen who are an absolute pair of diamonds. From the moment they stepped through the front door they have been nothing but professional, respectful and caring during every minute they have been there. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and they have included us in every decision that has had to be made. They don’t half throw a shift into the working day and couldn’t do enough for us. I was worried due to work commitments that I wouldn’t be able to move the furniture around to free up space for them to work in - they did it all for us even though they are not there for that but like I said the most helpful tradesmen I have had in my house.

So if you are considering having any work done by Smart Energy Homes - I would snap their hands off and a little tip —- ask if you can have Jacob and Owen to to carry out the work.

Expert tradespeople with knowledgeable and attentive project management and support team. The process of installation was efficiently carried out, given more time I may have requested a tweak or two as is always the case with any works large or small. Am yet to fully winter test the system but this is huge improvement on what I had before. So far operation has been smooth and bills have reduced. Overall, delighted.

Paul and Ross came and done an amazing job on our insulation. They were super friendly and accommodating as both my husband and I work from home, plus have 2 excitable dogs in the mix. They were speedy and thorough and made the whole process less stressful. Thanks both !

Hannah and Steve were fantastic from start to finish. I had wall insulation, solar panels, trickle vents and an air source heat pump installed and it's made a significant positive difference to my home! Very grateful and would highly recommend.

Everyone involved with the work were good, very pleasant and helpful. Wayne and Cain carried out the installation and were excellent. Everyone that came cleaned up after them but it was a messy job and anyone having the work done needs to be aware of this. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to others.

From the initial assessment, survey, locking off the radiators & other things too numerous to mention, the Smart Energy Team have been first rate with special commendation to the plasterers Merik & Greshan. They were diligent in their work, professional, thoughtful & respectful of my home.
One word of caution, the work is intensive & disruptive but necessarily so. However, the team cleaned up really well after themselves. I had to tell myself not to look & to trust the process and I was not disappointed.
I cannot speak highly enough of this Company & would recommend them.

Had an excellent job done by all the tradesmen involved and the job was done to an excellent standard, good liaison between Hannah and Steve ensured that we new things were kept going in the right order and now have a warm and dry house for the first time with an excellent heating and solar system, would highly recommend using smart energy homes Ltd, thanks a lot, Nigel Payne

We have had Paul and Ross in our home this week and we only have positive things to say. They are two of the most hardworking people we’ve ever met and having had a really bag experience with a contractor at our caravan recently, our experience with Paul and Ross couldn’t have been any more different.

They are lovely blokes and did their job without any fuss or encouragement. They got on with the job and were efficient with their time.

They were clean, tidy and did the job perfectly. The finish on the plaster was professional and to a high standard.

Most importantly, they explained everything and kept us well informed on what to expect day to day. Hugely reccomend and we are grateful for the work they conducted.

The installation took a little bit longer than anticipated but I think that was more about our location and getting teams to and from the house.
Comms from Hannah were great - easy to get hold of and quick to respond.
Steve oversaw the install, the guys were great and worked really hard. We had a leak from one of the new radiators but Hannah ensured that someone from the plumbing team came back to fix. All in all, great service.

Hannah, Steve and everybody were brilliant, my brother now has a warm comfortable home and less to pay for electricity. All the work was done to a high standard and we were well looked after.

Now all work is complete at my property, our internal wall insulation was started the week of the 14-10-24 and am pleased to report our experience has been good, we had Tom installer and the plasterer he had with him I think Tom was calling him "ki" sorry if I got that wrong, but they both were friendly, polite and professional. Tom had a stressful time with one of our bedrooms but he handled it professionally, and after that he cracked on and got the job done. The plasterer was fab got his job done in no time and ensured he cleaned up after him, everyone involved in the process from the plumbers, electricians, and the guys popping in over seeing the work have been great. There were a few odds and ends to tidy up after but one phone call to Karen at the office and she got it sorted, thank you Karen 🙂 I can already feel a difference at my property especially upstairs it's boiling 😀 definitely recommend and have done to a few friends. This is my review for phase one of the project which has been 1.5 weeks of internal wall insulation/boarding/plastering. We've had Paul and Ross with us who have been utter diamonds from the beginning. They've worked so hard and it's been amazing to come back home each day and see the progress. It's a large property with some challenges but they've asked my input on various occasions to see what I'd prefer they do. Any small issues or changes have been dealt with immediately and respectfully. They work well together as a team, are cheerful and a pleasure to have in the house. They did a great job of covering everything up and leaving the place clean when they'd finished. The whole project will be amazing but I think the biggest impact for me on a day to day basis will be the work that Paul and Ross have done, it has transformed my home and added so much value. Forever grateful ❤️

Insulation and boarding/plastering done so far by Lewys and Craig and they've done a fantastic job. Very accomodating, efficient work and excellent finish! House looks better than before and cleaner after they'd left! Thanks very much guys!
