SoftwareDiscountUSA.com Reviews

I just bought turbotax because they claim they give a 15% discount. When I tried to get the software code (about 16 digits), they say they may be busy, so call. There is no phone number. Other reports say they are scam. Do not buy from this company. I am reporting them as fraud and pushing a fraud claim through my bank

Sam was very helpfull. Thank you softwarediscountusa.

Zim was a fantastic help. I was having problems with my Turbo Tax License code. e was very patient and fixed the probem,

Sam was very helpfull with download and installation

Made a one-time purchase of Microsoft office. On the the exact date of the following month, they erroneously charged me $19.99. I tried to call and no answer. Straight to American Express to dispute the charge and block any future charges. I will never purchase anything ever again from these clowns.

Sam, was the best assistant I have ever experienced with your company. He was very professional, and extremely helpful in helping me

Sam did a great job got me back up in no time thanks

The product I ordered was never received. The 4 emails I sent them were ignored. And the phone call to them was an answering machine with the mailbox full. I then was billed the next month for some kind of unauthorized subscription. Total fraud.
Stay way from this unless you like to spend time calling your credit card issuer to report fraud and block them. Looking at reviews, they may not scam everyone. They scam enough people to make extra money.

I bought the turbo tax download, never got it, many emails later they said they were getting more product. A week later nothing, they do not respond. its a scam

I purchased my turbo tax software from Software Discount USA and received e-mails with broken links, no one to answer my call at the support number and a chat that takes hours to respond as if I have hours to just sit and wait. Several times I used their links I got "something went wrong" as I tried to get some assistance to access my purchase. I finally gave up and ordered from a more reliable vendor.

Bought the wrong product, never received the product until i told them i wanted a refund and got stuck with it. buyer beware!

I couldn't get the Turbo tax software installed. I called for help and was lucky to get Zim helping me out. He solved my issue right away, and got me going in seconds.
He

Nice person by the name of Sam help me get back on line

I ORDERED SOFTWARE AND WAS BILLED. I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A LOG IN KEY, BUT I received several EMAILs FROM DAVID WANTS ME TO BUY THE SAME SOFTWARE I JUST PURCHASED. It feels like you are running a scam operation. Send me what I am supposed to get.

did not receive working license for turbo tax, i contacted them. no support at all

I would leave negative stars if I could. They send a bogus activation key then do not respond to support claims for a functional key. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM, IT IS A SCAM.

I was sent a turbotax key (for $77) that said it was linked to another account so could not be used. No response from SDUSA except to ask for a screenshot, then crickets for over a month, despite constant contact from me. I had to purchase the software elsewhere and received no refund.

I accidentally purchased software and immediately canceled and requested a refund within 10 minutes. Their chat support replied hours later asking for my order number, then waited another three hours to ask the reason, and only responded the next day to say they couldn’t refund because I’d used the license key — which is impossible because the key wasn’t delivered until the following day. Their handling was slow, inconsistent, and dishonest. I asked for a refund right away and was ignored until they manufactured a reason to refuse it. I consider this company untrustworthy and would not recommend purchasing from them.

Sam provided excellent and knowledgeable service. He helped us solve our problem installing turbo tax very quickly. Great service!

I recently purchased or should I say “ Donated “ money for a turbo tax program that I cannot use because Software discounts refuses to send me my bought and paid for activation number. They are crooks/ scammers.

Update: Well, after daily complaints and emails “ software discounts “ finally sent me the activation license and I have been able to complete my taxes. Though - I will not purchase anything from them again, they did follow through and complete my purchase. I’m not changing my review nor my rating because they did not inform me as to why there was almost a 2 week delay to receive my purchase. Use at your own risk. Doug

I purchased Turbo Tax from this company for my 2024 taxes. I got a new computer and went online to be able to download the software again to get it set up. It would not allow me to download and gave me a number to go to Turbo Tax to download. The number did not work. When I inquired with Turbo Tax they said that number was used by someone else. This company is reselling sold software. Dont buy from them.
