I have recently had to sell my late mothers property and Alison and SPL provided the best conveyancing service I have experienced. In particular they immediately offered a simple way of not having to spend legal fees for changing with the Land Registry's records where other lawyers wanted to charge almost as much again.

I have nothing but praise for the way I was dealt with by Specialist Property Lawyers during the sale of my father’s house after he passed away. Most of my contact was with Alisha, who was extremely efficient and very prompt in communicating with me ( I once received a reply to an email in 2 minutes!). When Alisha was not at work, her colleague Lorraine dealt with me just as well, so I was not kept waiting for things to be done in a timely manner.
The fees charged were as in their quotation, and I found them to be competitive and reasonable, especially considering the service provided.
I would certainly highly recommend SPL and would be more than happy to use them again should the need arise.

Everything was fine until after the sale went through when I contacted them to enquire as to where I exactly stood in regard the vendor lying on the enquiries as to insect infestation. I was told it was nothing to do with them as it was a litigation case! I therefore suggested “in that case enquiries are a load of old phooey” and their reply was YES

The service was a bit slow at the start when speaking with the receptionist and needing to provide lots of information with little knowledge. However when assigned a lawyer everything was smooth and fast with easy communication. A special thanks to Lorraine who made the whole process of purchasing my first home very easy, and was informative throughout.
