We have a Solar PV array and battery storage system installed recently by Spirit Solar. Salesman Mark was happy to discuss options, to quote and re-quote, and to answer my many detailed questions. No pressure to buy. Once I decided on the system, Justin carried out a very thorough survey, identified that roof rafters needed bracing, which I got done in advance of the installation. Justin and his team completed the project in one day, very polite and considerate, and did a neat job.
The result is a system that I'm very happy with - I've ended up with the right system for my needs, and a smart installation that I can be proud of.
There were a few communication problems with office staff, but nothing serious, so I can very highly recommend Spirit Solar. They weren't the cheapest who quoted me, but the best value.

Spirit have installed a 12 panel system for me via the Solar Together scheme, and I am delighted with the whole experience and the performance. I found it very straightforward to discuss various options with Spirit on the phone and by mail), and the the installation process went like a dream.

It took about a day to perform the install, with scaffolding in a few days earlier. System worked "out of the box." Also, Customer Service has been highly responsive.

All participants found it very interesting and useful, spirit energy are clearly at the forefront of current technology and its interesting to see how battery technology is being deployed. As a specialist consultancy in part L is was great for us to see this side of the industry especially is rumours are to come true regarding the acceptance of battery technology into the SAP assessment.

They looked after us, our needs and requirements from the first conversation with Will, technical advice from Vishal along the way to the installation by Justin and signing off by Lydia. All round very good service

Spirit Energy were very helpful and patient with us in advising on the solar panel possibilities for various designs we considered for extending our house. Once an option was chosen they worked well with our builders and the installation of the panels went smoothly. We're very pleased with the result.

Having got no where with another installer we turned to Solar Spirit with 2 months remaining before the end of the UK Feed In Tariff. They were very professional. Completed all surveys promptly and submitted fully costed quotes. The work was completed professionally and to a high standard in time for us to successfully apply for the FIT. Our electricity bill is now considerably lower and I have just received my first FIT cheque.

It took me a year of indecision before finally giving Spirit Solar the go-ahead for my Solar PV installation with a Tesla Powerwall.

Mauricio in sales was tireless in his revisions of the quote for different configurations and always gave accurate information with no push to close the deal.

Justin and his team did a great job on the installation day, leaving everything neat and tidy.

Lydia project-managed everything and handled the inevitable teething problems of getting everything to work together with the car charging and also arranged for a quick replacement of a faulty optimiser.

I'd highly recommend the team if you're considering solar PV.

Spirit Solar installed our domestic solar PV system in 2011. I was impressed by their efficiency and the thoroughness of the survey. Customer service staff were always friendly and helpful at that time, although staff always seemed to be changing. The installation was also efficient, and went smoothly, despite appalling weather. So far excellent. Unfortunately, the system started to intermittently fail, and was not fully operational for seven months. This was caused by a manufacturing fault, not the fault of Spirit Solar. However, it did cause me considerable annoyance that Spirit Solar took so long to sort the problem. The next issue was that after reinstalling the panels the fitters put one panel on upside down, so it looks odd to me. Despite phone calls, I gave up trying to get them to come back and rectify. Although it does not affect efficiency, because I know the panel is wrong, I cannot help looking at it, so it irritates me, even now. I had another issue a couple of years ago, phoned for advice, and was told someone would definitely phone me the next day. No chance! I managed to resolve the issue myself in the end. I've recently contacted them by e mail over maintenance etc, and mentioned again the upside down panel, but no reply. It does give the impression that once the system is fitted and paid for that's it. I'm not confident that I would get any help from them if anything does go wrong in the future. So, after sales service is poor to non existent as far as I'm concerned.
