Ordered a sample of their coping stone which was well packaged and arrived within a couple of days. The sample was large enough to ascertain if the product would be suitable.

Replaced broken limestone step and delivered it. Well impressed.

After I ordered and paid was told stock was wrong and you didn't have what I ordered, this cost me more money, as I had to have smaller packs.

Prompt and efficient service

Ordered 22mm calibrated sandstone slabs, and despite the tolerance stated on the website, a good proportion of the slabs were outside of said tolerance (one slab was 11mm!!). To be fair, the complaint was handled professionally and a partial refund was issued, but I wouldn't order from this website again as there is potential for the same issue to occur.

7.1% broken slabs first order (apparently accepted by the ts&C's) second order (this time I'd given up complaining) 1 in 8 slabs broken... What other industry should you expect for what you have bought to be broken??? Discusted!

Avoid this company at all costs!
We ordered a number of porcelain tiles and were utterly disgusted by the state they were in when they arrived...they would have been rejected on sight but the delivery driver dumped them and sped off before we knew they had arrived.
Basically the pallet of tiles looked as if it has been dug up after spending 20 years buried underground!
We started unwrapping this mess (which took all afternoon) the cardboard was sodden and mouldy, the plastic was so degraded it literally disintegrated on contact. The tiles were mouldy and needed to be scrubbed down. Not to mention the broken tiles...
On contacting the company they basically couldn't care less, mentioned some rubbish about 7% and begrudgingly offered a refund, not actually for the broken tiles, but for the "inconvenience caused", not once acknowledging the actual complaint.
These were not advertised as being sold in such a bad state as we would not have bought them at any price!
Obviously this bunch couldn't care less and we'll certainly not use them again, and will be telling family and friends to avoid this bunch of jokers!

I purchased 64 Kandla Grey 600 x 600 paving slabs in July 2023. The slabs arrived on two pallets 1 of 48 slabs very well packed and in pristine condition. The other pallet with the remaining 16 slabs was in very poor condition and the slabs were very poorly packed, it is mine and my builder’s belief that over a period slabs that didn’t come up to standard were put to one side and it looks like I was the unlucky customer that received those slabs, they included damaged and chipped slab, slabs that were poorly finished by the manufacturer, variations in thickness and slabs with significant variations in colour. When I contacted customer services I received an e-mail asking me to provide photographic evidence so that they could investigate, difficult to do when they had already been laid.

A phone call to discuss my concerns would not have gone a miss.

Reading back through some of the poor reviews it was disappointing to read that I wasn’t the only one with a poor customer experience.

Of the 5 building suppliers I used on this project Stone Paving Direct were by far the worst.

Easy, straight forward to order. Delivery was well organised and easy to track. A good quality product.

The SPD Team were very helpful and I was kept fully informed regarding the order delivery timing. The product is excellent (with no breakages), and I will definitely be using Stone Paving Direct again.

Haven't been laid yet, bought in preparation for patio project. Delivery was as forecast, driver brought the pallet to the rear gate. Unpacked the pallet and not one piece of paving was damaged, look forward to the finished project. Now completed early September, looks super, easy to lay and went down as we planned on a planner, nice to have our garden back.

Great service, quick and no delivery costs. Lovely limestone slabs. Our garden is really taking shape with a new patio!

great service but the stone cladding was not as good as expected . Some parts of the quartz was broken and glued back in place and there were a lot of areas where the quartz pieces were really thick and stood out too far .
