Great prices and customer service
Great product and great customer service. They operate in a similar model as the other large UK paving stores but after having a very poor experience at a competitor and a failed order, I tried PSU. Website was less attractive but the price was actually better (for the same porcelain tile product) and the customer service and delivery were much better!

Follow their delivery, returns and refunds policy :
Damage below 7% of the total order is not eligible for a refund.
Damage between 7% and 20% qualifies for a partial refund for the damaged slabs.
Damage above 20% qualifies for a replacement.
In practice: they can send you around 7% broken and you can't do anything about that.
I will not buy anything else from them again.
Would stongly recommend to check other companies before purchase from PSU

Please click through and read the published damage and replacement policies of the main suppliers. Once you compare them, you will see that our policy is actually more favourable to customers than many others in the industry.
Before ordering, we clearly advise customers to allow around 10% extra material to cover cutting, wastage and the possibility of minor transport damage. If you followed this recommendation and ordered the additional 10%, you should still have enough material to complete your project successfully.
Minor breakages can occur with heavy paving materials during pallet transport, which is why damage allowances are common across the paving industry. Comparing other suppliers’ published policies will give you a clearer understanding of normal industry practice.
Stone cladding Z Panels from Paving Slabs UK
This was a large project using Stone Z Tiles to do cladding. The range offered by Paving Slabs UK is comprehensive. Jessie was helpful, attentive and friendly. Ordered 7 pallets and whilst I was expecting some breakages, amazingly there were none! The stone tiles were of good quality (although not as good as some other companies samples, but the other companies were more expensive)
A bit of advice to potential buyers is regarding the corner fittings. There was confusion in that firstly i was told I would need them, then was told I wouldn't, then I was told there was a corner in every box. This proved to be a bit wasteful and I would suggest corners and full panels should be boxed and sold separately, but put this down to experience. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending the Product and the Company! Thank you Jessie!!

Regarding the corner pieces and full panels, the product you purchased was our **mesh-backed stone cladding**, which is supplied in mixed packaging. We use this system because it generally offers better value and greater flexibility for customers. The corner pieces used with this range can be installed either as corner units or adapted for use as standard straight panels, so customers are not left with completely unusable pieces if their requirements change during installation. This mixed-pack system has been developed from our experience with many projects and, in most cases, makes ordering and installation more practical.
Our **cement-backed stone cladding** uses a different system, where straight panels and corner pieces are sold separately. That gives more precise control over quantities, but it is also a more expensive system and can make additional orders more difficult, particularly if only a small number of corner pieces are required later in the project.

Doesn’t honour price guarantee
I’d shop around. I found the identical product advertised cheaper elsewhere and asked Paving Slabs UK to honour their prominently advertised “Best Price Guaranteed”.
Their email confirmed the competitor product appeared to meet the main comparison points, but said they would not match the price because it was below the level at which they could sustainably supply it.
Only after I posted this review was I given a different explanation: that the competitor had allegedly not been accepting orders since December 2025.
I have reported the “Best Price Guaranteed” advertising to the ASA as I believe the way the guarantee is advertised and applied could mislead consumers.

We have already clarified the position regarding the competitor. We was the sole supplier to Stone Paving Direct (https://www.stonepavingdirect.co.uk), which operated as one of our drop-shipping resellers. However, we ended our drop-shipping relationship with SPD on 13 December 2025 because of repeated delay payments.
The prices displayed on SPD’s website at the time of your enquiry reflected prices from before 13 December 2025. After we stopped supplying them, instability in the Middle East caused a sharp increase in shipping costs, and prices subsequently rose across the market.
Having lost its sole source of supply from us, Stone Paving Direct has recorded zero sales since that date, according to the information available to us. However, the prices and other information displayed on SPD’s website were not updated.
We have explained these circumstances to you and clarified why its advertised price did not represent a genuine, available offer. You have also stated that you were satisfied with our products and previous service, but you are nevertheless unwilling to amend your review. We deeply regret your decision.

Ordered some grey York Indian sandstone, and grey slim sets, along with golden quartz stone cladding arrived with amazing colours and natural fossils in some which was a bonus but of course it varies as it's a natural product, communication with delivery was great got kept in the loop which is reassuring, will use again in the future.

According to our warehouse records, approximately two packs were showing as available when you placed your order. However, during the final pre-dispatch inspection, one pack was found to be unsuitable for delivery. We therefore contacted you promptly and offered alternative products.
Unfortunately, none of the available alternatives met your requirements, so we issued a full refund. We do not believe there was any failure in our customer service: the stock issue was identified during the necessary quality inspection, and you were informed promptly to minimise any further delay.
We would also respectfully ask customers to consider the wider conditions currently affecting international shipping and imported-stone supply chains. Significant volatility in sea freight, shipping schedules and replacement-stock availability has created unavoidable disruption across the industry. Businesses operating in this sector must manage substantial supply-chain risks, and these circumstances should be assessed objectively when reviewing an individual transaction.
Delivery delayed over 4 weeks from purchase.
I ordered a crate of slabs, the website said it was in stock. I got an email advising to keep my phone close as I will be charged for redelivery if I miss it over the next few days.
The week passes and I have heard nothing. I sent an email to check the status of my order, only to be told it's out of stock. I was given the option of a refund, or to wait as stock is due end of June.
I chose to wait as we could do a different part of my patio one weekend, and I could live with taking a weekend off for a break, thinking that we can then lay the slabs the weekend after that.
June ends and I follow up on 1st July. No reply. Email again 2nd July, and I get a reply that the 'vessel' has not arrived yet, they are waiting for it. No further information so I press for further details. They then come clean and tell me it'll be 8th July when the vessel arrives, and 10th before it's in their warehouse and they can even think about processing my order for delivery. That's a further two weekends gone!
Absolutely terrible service and I can't understand the lack of communication, they surely had a delivery schedule for their stock and could have advised more accurately. Now I have asked for a refund and intend to order with someone else, hopefully this comes within two weeks but the time they have eased will never come back to me. I do have a deadline for this patio due to permission expiry with my housing association so this is more costly than they realise for my particular situation.

We understand that you chose to order from us because the website showed the item as in stock, and possibly because we usually carry stronger stock levels than many competitors. However, in this case, the combination of stock movement, vessel delays, and logistics uncertainty has caused a delay that was not fully within our control.

A full crate worked out around half the price of another retailer. Extremely happy with the finished product and even have some left over, highly recommended.

5 star Cobble Sets
Ok, so I decided I’d destroy the front garden and driveway. Decided on the idea, grey cobbles and golden gravel.
After hours of looking around, I literally stumbled across these guys. The pricing was well under what I’d been looking at… too good to be true, the old saying ‘buy cheap buy twice’. Well, I can say this was a refreshing change, ordered… booked the time and date, arrived and they were spot on!
So much so, I’d over ordered on the gravel and had a ton left, so… the back garden has had the same treatment! Again, cheapest out there! Delivery sorted, there was a minor issue with this but corrected arrived spot on.
As for the product, it’s as described, the last order was more precise, as I worked out exactly what I would need, less wastage. Sad as it might be, 300 cobbles… that’s what was delivered 🤣.
Genuinely 5 stars for the quality, delivery and also aftercare service.

Broken slab policy is ridiculous.
Their policy of broken slabs is 7% which I had 3 broken of a pack of 60 this is well below 7% but this is not taking into account they were the largest of the pack 900x600mm which is 0.54m² times this by three (1.62m²) the pack size is 18.9m².
18.9m² ÷ 100 x 8.5% = 1.60m² I am 1.5% over their policy in broken slab area but they shut the chat down and didnt listen to my concerns, if this area was of broken 300x300mm i couldnt care less as they are not that important to the pattern of the slabbed area.
In short careful of ordering mixed pack sizes as they dont understand broken area is more important than broken quantity in mixed pack orders over singe size orders.
Edit: as you can see from their response they don't care. All I needed was one large slab replacement of the three to sort out my slabbed area, but they simply refuse, considering they can take these three broken slabs back and cut into multiple replacements for other customers of the same batch (smarter business practice), but this is a single minded business excuse for you. Please be careful ordering and expect broken slabs and no help from the seller.

As an online retailer operating in a highly competitive market, we strictly apply a damage-claim standard that most companies in our industry can reasonably sustain and that is broadly in line with normal market practice.
Customers cannot, on the one hand, expect to purchase good-quality products at highly competitive prices, while on the other hand expecting the retailer to absorb every occasional breakage risk. In the real market, it is uncommon to have both at the same time.
If our prices were very high, then the cost of covering a higher level of damage claims would naturally already be built into the price. Because we continue to keep our prices competitive, we must also apply a damage-claim standard that is broadly consistent with the market level.
Based on the photographic evidence you have supplied, the level of damage appears to be below our 7% damage allowance.
