I waited a long time for these to come…
I waited a long time for these to come back into stock, checked verbally and then placed my order.
However I then got told there weren’t any in stock, except that there were in stock and they were on the way to me.
Once the initial mix up was sorted, the delivery company was very competent, the order arrived when it said it would.
The slabs were in good condition, well packed with no damage, a couple of not perfect slabs but that is to be expected.

Slabs broken within the pallet of slabs
I received the pallet of slabs to find two broken. I reported this and was told that they do not cover the first 7% of breakages in transit. This could leave me two short if I use the scrap allowance. In my view it is poor that the customer must take the hit on any broken items. What would be far better is for the company to allow for damages in transit and increase the quantity delivered.
On the positive side, the slabs appear to be very good quality and were delivered on time.

The best price I could find online for…
The best price I could find online for what I wanted. Delivery within 4 days! Only slight gripe was the delivery company was supposed to contact me to arrange delivery but I was literally sent a message on the day to say they were on their way. So had to leave work early to rush home. Quality of the product is fantastic. I unloaded each slab individually from the pack and there isn’t one with any noticeable damage.

Ordered paving slabs for £2400 3 of paving stones were delivered broken and was told they won’t replace them was not advised of this when I placed the order

Thank you for your order with Stone Paving Direct, when placing an order online with ourselves we have the policy on the website which states we do not cover for the 1st 7% of breakages, when this policy was applied to your order for your 3 broken slabs it fell under the 7% which is why the slabs were not replaced.

I have to admit I was concerned
I have to admit I was concerned that the price would mean a drop in quality, I had no need to be worried. We purchased 2 project packs to link in with an existing Indian sandstone patio.
We’ve not laid them yet, but having moved the stone, there were absolutely no breakages and an appearance very similar to our existing stone.
We had a couple of issues with the delivery company who are separate to the supplier, but the driver was very helpful
Very pleased with the stone and I am looking forward to some warmer weather to get them laid.
