My recent experience with Talabat has been extremely disappointing.
After a delayed order (over 1.5 hours for an order placed at 9 PM), I contacted support and requested escalation. Around half an hour later, I received a call from the “complaints department,” but it felt very scripted — the responses were repeated and no resolution was offered. I was told that “management” would call me.
At 2 AM, my phone started ringing continuously until I picked up. The calls were presented as “management,” but the interaction felt no different from the earlier call center. What was most concerning was the timing — being contacted in the middle of the night, repeatedly, without any consideration for customer convenience. When I raised that this was highly inappropriate, the conversation simply continued as if nothing had been said.
As of the next day, there has been no resolution or meaningful follow-up. This raises real concerns about customer service standards and whether proper policies are in place to handle escalations.
I share this feedback so that people are aware of what they may experience with Talabat, as the company has not taken responsibility for resolving such inappropriate practices.

I ordered 2 pizzas from la novo sheraton, the delivery is absolutely disastrous the food is damaged and the delivery guy tells me this is how he received the damaged food from restaurant, which is quite gard to believe. I dont understand how they can deliver damaged foodThis is the second order I purchased within 14 hours. The 1st one i get a refund and the second they haven't answered me yet. The delivery drivers are disastrous, especially bikes. Next time I will refuse to take the food in such condition

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a very disappointing experience I had with your app on August 25, 2025.
I placed an order from Jollibee via the Talabat app. The status remained at "Order Placed", and no further updates or delivery confirmation were provided. Despite the order not being processed or delivered, the payment was immediately deducted from my bank account.
I contacted your customer service for assistance, but unfortunately, they were unable to resolve the issue or provide any satisfactory explanation. I was told that the money will be held for one week, which is completely unacceptable for an undelivered order.
This experience has caused inconvenience and frustration, and I find it extremely concerning that funds can be deducted without any service being provided. I expected a higher level of reliability and professionalism from a platform like Talabat.
Please:
Investigate this issue immediately.
Provide a full refund for the deducted amount.
Explain why the order was not fulfilled but payment was taken.
Ensure that this situation does not happen again.
Based on this experience, I can confidently say I will not be using or recommending Talabat to anyone in the future unless this is resolved appropriately.

Scam-like practices & terrible support
Terrible experience with Talabat.
They enrolled me in Family Pro without my knowledge. When I asked to cancel, they refused. Only after I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection did they finally refund me and cancel Family Pro—but they also unfairly canceled my Talabat Pro, which was valid until April 2026. For the record, I only canceled Family Pro, not Pro.
My brother also faced a 2-hour delay with a restaurant order, and when he asked for a refund, his messages were ignored several times and no refund was given. Another brother received a wrong and incomplete order worth around 200 AED and had to follow up with them for a month—still no refund.
This shows a clear pattern of negligence and unfair treatment. Very disappointing.

I had an issue on June 13th when a restaurant through DineOut charged me twice,
Since then, I have called Talabat support four or five times requesting that the money be credited to my Talabat wallet.
Every time I speak to an agent, I’m told “OK, give us 30 minutes and we’ll solve it.” Afterwards, I keep receiving requests to leave a five-star review, but my issue has still not been resolved until today.
This situation is very frustrating and embarrassing. I am not happy at all with how this has been handled.

I am very disappointed with the repeated issue of receiving incomplete orders through your service. Many times, I have placed an order and the rider delivered only half of the items — forgetting or missing the rest. This has caused not only inconvenience but also embarrassment in front of family and friends, as we had to manage without the full order.
When customers place an order, they expect accuracy and reliability. Unfortunately, this repeated problem shows a lack of proper order-checking before delivery. I kindly request Talabat to take serious action to ensure riders and restaurants double-check orders before dispatching them.

I have a serious issue with Talabat. They charged me for 6–7 months even though I canceled Talabat Pro, and they never refunded my money. When I finally got a response, they said they would only refund 4 months. Honestly, it feels like they even tried to charge me for 4 extra months after cancellation. This is unacceptable and looks like clear exploitation.

I am so sad. I like to support initiative, and the delivery guys are so nice. But Talabat is a very difficult application to use. 1 the search functions are very non specific in what they bring up 2) you cannot save favourites so in multiple visits you lose what you like(UBER EATS and GRAB FOOD both have favourite functions that I use across locations) 3) multiple times when using the site I get a message that the website has blocked me, and I have been rate limited. It is wearisome it takes over an hour to make an order. Today I tried for an hour to make an order and I ALWAYS pay by card. I got so many rate limited messages that I gave up. Then the order arrived 45 mins later asking me to pay by cash. I do not have local cash. I offered 4 solutions one of which was giving 25% more in UK pounds cash, one of which was issue me a bill and I will pay on card, one of which was let me pay the restaurant direct, one of which was take the food away. They took the food away. I was not bothered as I had not expected the order. But they lost money (which goes on the customer experience) and the restaurant lost money which makes me sad, and the delivery guy worked for nothing, and I lost 90 mins of my life. Just get your systems together and be reliable. I work 15 hours a day. My life is supporting other people through stress. I have many stresses from life. I DO NOT NEED THEM FROM A FOOD DELIVERY APP. DO your job and stop wasting everyone's time

I was charged twice last week. When I first placed my order and entered my OTP, the order didn’t go through. So I tried placing it again, and the second attempt was successful. However, when I checked my balance, I noticed I was charged twice for the same item.
I called Talabat customer service, and surprisingly, the agent already seemed to know what had happened—even before I explained my concern. She told me I would receive a refund within approximately 3–7 days.
I waited more than seven days, but there was still no refund. So I called again, and the agent said they would escalate the issue to the bank. On my third call, I was told the same thing again.
At this point, I was really frustrated. These agents keep making promises without any real assurance. It would be better if they just told the truth rather than giving customers false hope and repeated excuses. This has been a very disappointing experience.
