Customer service par excellance, staff is knowledgable, obliging and speedy to respond. You don't experience this standard very often. They deserve to do very well.

I have been most impressed by the Abode service team! I was having trouble with a dripping tap which I had bought several years ago. They were able to identify the exact model and tell me which cartridges I needed to order. I rang them several times for advice on replacing the cartridges and every time the person I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful with advice. Phoned up to order spare parts, spoke to an actual human who knew what I needed. Reasonably priced, including P&P, arrived promptly, with fitting instructions emailed to me in the meantime.

We have a duty to fix stuff when we can rather than chuck it and buy another. It’s not simply the cost and the waste. Swapping a tap is a real bother. Tap Spares offer an important service here.

I received an email today after contacting them 2 days ago regarding a faulty tap. I wasn’t sure if I had warranty but I supplied all of my purchase information along with a video of the fault. A new part has been dispatched and will be with me within the next 2-3 days. Couldn’t ask for any better service!

After fitting two new cartridges from Tap Spares, which immediately cured an irritating leak, I ordered two new ceramic handles. Despite a delivery window of 5 to 7 days, they arrived after only 4 days and were simple to fit. The tap now looks the part and is leak free. Curiously though, it now operates in the opposite direction to the original tap - not a problem, just something to get used to after 10 years of the old tap.

I ordered a part and paid £2.99 for DPD 48-hour delivery. The next day, I received an email stating that due to high demand, delivery would take 5-7 days. As I had a leaking tap and couldn't wait that long, I immediately sent an email requesting cancellation.
Before ordering elsewhere, I decided to phone to confirm the cancellation and refund. I spoke to a very helpful lady who explained that they'd had a system update and the delay email had been sent in error. She assured me the part would arrive on Monday.
Later that same day, I received an email confirming the order had been cancelled. I rang immediately and was told the order had not been cancelled. Given the urgency of my leaking tap, I pressed the representative to double-check, especially as I was looking at a cancellation email. After checking for a couple of minutes, he confirmed the order had indeed been cancelled but said they could dispatch it on Monday.
At this point, I have lost all confidence in the company and will buy from a more consistant company. The contradictory information, incorrect automated emails, and confusion among staff members have made it impossible to trust that my order will be handled correctly or arrive when needed.

Just a brilliant website, I was able to get the spares I needed to replace on my kitchen taps, quick delivery, thank you.

Tap spares has an easy to navigate website with a pretty comprehensive selection of spare parts and good detail provided on items. I needed a pair of Abode kitchen tap cartridge valves and a new hand spray body. They were delivered the within 2 days. Great service. ( Only problem was the plank delivery man from the normally reliable DPD who said my parcel had been handed to a non existent neighbour. Having checked a number of likely addresses I found the parcel had been posted through my letterbox!)
