The job was done quickly and I got an oil change which my car needed. Good job.

The service was a standard oil change and filter change. Unfortunately most of the oil spilt all over my drive. Whilst the AA man was lovely, the drive was ruined. And the AA escort you to get this sorted by way of finding companies, quotes and then submitting them for approval. The AA man even called his line manager while present with me expanding his the spillage happened and the line manager offered nothing of note to express concern, apology or anything.

I word have expected the AA to correct the mess they caused rather than expecting the customer.

Post the service for oil, the car now has lost performance power, it’s not even worth my time trying to contact the AA again to discern the diagnosis and whether it was connected to their work carried out.

Will not be using them again!

Yes, all went well, although I had to engage a recovery service in order to get a tow to the repair garage, despite requesting one in my original comments box! But by and large a good project from Smart Care.

Did my MOT at a garage through the AA Smart Care system and it was not a smooth process at all. Was quoted WAY too high for unnecessary parts (e.g. £186 for a part that cost £15 to fix) and when I tried to ring them to find out why this was so high, they not only were a nightmare to get through to but they also didn't have a clue how to help. The WhatsApp chat was so abysmal it was almost comical! Nothing was resolved AT ALL, no sense was talked and I got so frustrated after the chat and the 4 calls that I just cancelled and went with the garage independently anyway. Waste of time.

Mechanic was really good but the appointment was changed from morning to a late afternoon by the company on the morning of the booking, which could have been a big inconvenience to me if I had other things planned.
Not a big issue, I know things happen but being a big company like the AA you would never think they would be short staffed.
But, otherwise, all good. It would not deter me from booking again with AA.

The mechanic was brilliant and very friendly. He explained what was being done how long it was going to take and was just a lovely lad. Excellent service

A wonderful company; if there were 10 stars, I would give them to them.

The service provided is so poor which means the staff are not trained at all. Some random call centre set up and cannot speak to a manager when asked to do so. Got put on hold for 10minutes and got transferred to another agent without my knowledge so had to repeat everything again. Was charged more for MOT and no one could sort it out. The garage which did a major service and MOT on my car is not AA approved as a few days later I heard rattling noises from my car and all of my 4 tyres had low pressure. Very disappointing with the whole experience from AA smart care and the garage. A major complaint needs to be processed. Also keep getting text messages to say the car is done and no major faults found, even after 2 weeks of me having my car.

Communication wasn’t great , I saw my car failed the MOT online at mid day but had no message saying so and what work was required . I had to call myself at the end of day to find out what the situation was

Collection and delivery service was a great option. Although there was an unexpected repair, everything was done by the next morning. I called the garage to check how things were going and actually had the car back before the AA told it was ready!

I tried to use AA as the price was slightly cheaper online but What a waste of time. I’m really disappointed. My job was cancelled twice because AA couldn’t provide the service. If you can’t deliver, please don’t offer the job. I wasn’t expecting this from AA. I will be sticking with RAC.
