Came to an event today and was nothing like described... trying to get my money back is also harder then drawing blood from a stone, so I wouldn't waste your time.

Save your money, because if you spend it to come here, and dont get what you paid for, you won't get it back.

Basically similar to a lot of the bad reviews here, we attended an event which was basically so poor we left after 20 minutes. The people running the event we attended didn't know what they were doing the facilities were poor and it was just a disaster. We left without even having a drink. We have tried to get our money back, there is no direct contact for the firm only an email address, they take days to respond and when they do respond the responses are totally unprofessionally written and basically rebuff any claim you are making. I don't think they would EVER give any one a refund, they knowingly oversell/ overhype their events to pull in the numbers and then just have this nonchalant attitude towards everything..something I guess they have built up and perfected given the significant period over which the same complaints seem to crop up. Save your money seriously DO NOT GO TO ANY EVENTS RUN BY THE BRUNCH - who are also LIKE IT LOVE IT EVENTS AVOID

Not only is this brunch a total scam, their customer service is below par. We have tried many times to get our money back due to the shocking experience and after many times or chasing they stand over that this service is what we paid for…which is pretty laughable! Don’t waste your money here, or your time.

My sister and I took my mum and auntie to the Spice Girls Drag Brunch in London. The food was great and our glasses were never empty, mum said she’d go every weekend if she could handle the hangovers!

Would recommend!

Had such a good experience! I went to a Disney brunch in Glasgow. The drinks were ready on arrival, and were so tasty. The queens were also so entertaining, and really involved the audience, creating such a fun atmosphere. The day ended in singing, a conga, and such a happy vibe!

The entertainment was brilliant! The Spice Girls were great and really got the party started we had a brilliant time.
Unfortunately the bottomless drinks didn’t start coming round until 12:08 and they stopped topping up our drinks at 12:50 so it definitely wasn’t a full hour as advertised.
I went to the back bar at 12:50 to ask for a final jug of cocktail & the bar staff said they had run out of archers so couldn’t make anymore of the original cocktails. They said the same thing had happened the week before so hopefully this complaint will encourage management to sort this out for next time & make sure the bar staff have enough spirits for the full hour. The bar staff & waitress were lovely, they made me a jug of an alternative cocktail with different spirits. I just felt sorry for everyone else that didn’t get the full hour.
Also a few girls on our table didn’t receive their food order so they really weren’t happy.

Overall a good experience but a few organisational issues that be easily ironed out. My advice would be to go upto the bar and ask about your food & extra drink before the bottomless hour is up!

We love Abba and it was a fabulous event for my aunts 69th

Shockingly bad! Went to the emo brunch in Newcastle. They changed the drink selection after we’d bought the tickets so only offered one type of (frozen) cocktail. The ‘dj’ played the same songs 3 times within an hour and the music was way too quiet. The food took too long to come out and when it did it was terrible (two small pieces of rock hard toast with melted cheese only on parts of the bread). I sent an email with feedback, was told I would hear back in 5 working days. It’s been a month and I have sent follow up emails with no response. To top it off it was one of the most expensive bottomless brunches I’ve been to. I would never go to one of their events again and would recommend you don’t waste your money either.

ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL. We attended the Abba Bottomless Brunch, in Hull, and it was diabolical. You advertise cocktails, but forget to mention that people receive 2 pitchers of what can only be described as watered down sugary juice with no alcohol on the table. We then ordered a prosecco, to be served a very flat 1/2 glass of the cheapest fizzy wine available on the market. There is no way this was prosecco. The food arrived on paper plates!!!! We ordered Chicken Gyros only to be told they had no bread , so everyone got a bit of chicken thigh chips and salad. Which was cold and inedible and served with a wooden fork. At this point we left the venue, we did speak with a member of staff to report our concerns only to be told 'whatever'. To charge £47.00 for tickets to this event is disgraceful as a company. Please AVOID the Brunch club at all costs, from the reviews I have read we have had a very similar experience to numerous other events by this company.

Just horrendous dont waste your time or money !
And no reply to complaints from myself and my friends . Left after 30 mins
Wish there was a minus star

I've contacted both the founders on linkedin, emailed the company 4x, instagram messaged them 5x with no response. Had this message been within the time period of doing a credit card claim back, i would of let the banks fight it.

This is on behalf of my partner and her 8 friends who attended one of their "brunches" in Dublin.

Let me start:

On arrival the ladies were told they could have a drink in opium as the doors for the brunch weren't open. No one informed them that there was a queue to get into the brunch.

They ordered drinks in Opium where the prosecco used was flat.

When they walked round to the brunch, there were no tables available. The event was heavily oversold with less than 10 tables to sit at.
Eventually the ladies got a high table with no stools but the girls requested one due to a bad back.

When the women tried to get a drink, there weren't enough bar staff and the venue was not big enough for the event.

When the drag event started, the middle of the floor had to be cleared, this wasn't appropriate due to how small the venue was. When the first drag turned up, she "strutted" up and down but there was no dancing. The drag performers shoe broke and they went round hobbling up and down showing everyone their broken shoe.

The second "drag queen" was very young and unseasoned. They looked terrified and look like they'd never been on a dance floor in their life.
The drag queens needed to have a break after 1 song and the performance was not choreographed, thought through or practiced. They didn't know the words to the ABBA songs to lip-sync.

The standard of make up, clothing and performances were a disgrace!

This was not a "UK Production" as advertised, the performers were Irish. The drag queens on the advertisement were not what we expected.
The ladies left the brunch after 20 minutes.

The big issue was your adverts enticed the a group of women for a weekend. There were a lot of arrangements required to be made from dog minders, babysitters, transport etc. They paid 25euro each per a ticket and the event was not worthy of what was paid, nor what was advertised. It was highly disappointing and ruined their day.

I am requesting a full refund for the 9 tickets. I'm happy for you to provide the refund back to the ticket holders which I can provide, or to one bank account and i will send it to them.

Following up from this, trying to get a response from The Brunch Club has been a disgrace!

We went to a brunch club event in Liverpool and it was unbelievably bad. Disorganised, drinks were watered down cocktail pitchers, food was inedible and the entertainment was so bad it was a joke. I have emailed several times to complain and no response.
Absolute waste of money. Avoid at all costs.

Attended the disney brunch club in edinburgh and it was a total waste of money. brunch was ggo, supposed to be a three hour event but staff told you you had to have used all your drink tokens in first hour, drag show consisted of three games and four songs, and the dj finished at dead on three, just as everyone starts getting into the party spirit. for 280.00 not a good experience

Genuinely awful. Went to the emo brunch. Half of the food vendors advertised weren’t there so it was a bland choice of pizza, chicken or chow mein. The “entertainment” was a random drummer. We spent the whole time trying to get drinks and between 5 of us got 2 weak pitchers. I’d be ashamed to work for this place it was that bad. Went to a local pub and had more fun with my friends.

Not even worth one star!

So booked emo brunch 7.8.2023.
Don't book with this company, honestly save your money!! We booked in August, to find out a few days before the event, the venue,menu and drinks have changed, however still being charged £50 for a choice of 6drinks 3 of then being fizzy pop or cordial, food was a grilled bloody sandwich! When trying to tell them 2 people in my party can't have cheese, they kept sending the new menu to me saying it's ok, pick from this.....I kept saying how we couldn't pick from it at all, so half of my party paid nearly £50 for no food!
No phone number to get a immediate response to help us out, we asked for a refund seen as the company knew from the 4th September the original venue had shut down.
The music didn't start till well after the time it was meant to and even then it wasn't the drummer, we couldn't even hear any, the brunch company is honestly a waste of space and unbelievablely rude when we needed help! It's a disgusting company that is happy to take money from people just wanting a good time!

Also whilst at this brunch, when I spoke to other girls they had the same response, not one person was happy with how they were treated by the brunch club.

Honestly it's just not worth it.

If there was a minus option I'd choose that instead, giving it one star is too generous!! Attended the Dublin ABBA 'show' with friends, collectively spending approximately €200 on tickets between us. We stayed for 2 songs before we left. It was absolutely atrocious! The 2 'performers' were so young and inexperienced. Initially we actually thought they were attending like ourselves but to our dismay they were the entertainment, if you could even call it that!!
Their costumes weren't even ABBA themed for God sake. They didn't know the words of the songs to lip sync to and to be honest it was an absolute car crash. I can't even call it a show or performance because it was neither!! We were all disgusted. We went expecting to be there for 4 hours and we were generous in staying for about 30 minutes!!
We have all emailed the organisers and they haven't even had the decency to acknowledge them. Whenever I see the ads coming up on social media I will most certainly be warning others not to waste their money or time!!

I have already sent an email complaint on this, advised to use online form. No response. Follow up email, no response, second follow up email, no response.

Advertised as ABBA Duo Drag. What appeared were two obviously amateur drag queens, both dressed in black with black wigs. They were not even able to lip sync to the ABBA songs as they didn't know the words. Zero attempt to even try and emulate any kind of ABBA experience. Noone from the company on site to deal with a complaint. 30 euro paid which included nothing but entry. The event took place in Opium in Dublin, who also never bothered to respond to a complaint. Based on reading other reviews here its clear the organisers do not care how their events are run. They simply gather the money and have some unknown, unrehearsed performers turn up in a booked space and hope for the best. An absolute waste of time and money for the most poorly run event I've ever attended.

I have submitted two complaints online to which I have been totally ignored.

I booked an event that was supposed to be held at a club. The morning of the event I googled to find the time it started to find the event had changed location with no notification!!!!! It was now to be held on a street where members of the public watched the show for free.

The event was 4 hours long. The act took 1 hour 20 minutes to appear they lasted 20 minutes. They then appeared later for another 20 minutes. The “entertainment” was on for less than 25% of the event. The event was also supposed to be 90’s themed however the DJ clearly didn’t get the memo as he was playing current music.

All in all I am absolutely disgusted that I have been ignored and paid for tickets at a bar/club for it to be moved with no notification to a street where members of public watched this for free.
