Honestly, I hate leaving negative reviews but this was an AWFUL experience! I've contacted the company to try and resolve and they've dismissed me from the get go. Basically, we paid for a group ticket (£80 for 5 people) to go to an ABBA Garden Party in Norwich, however, when we arrived, no tickets were needed. No one on the door or anything. The bar staff (might not be their fault) was very unhelpful. I think they thought we were drunk but I genuinely think they're in on this ticket scam because they didn't care at all.
Please be very careful when buying tickets that you're not throwing your money away!

You might not think that's a lot of money, but with a living crisis, we wanted to go and have a good time, instead we left feeling cheated and scammed.

I made an error while booking! I accidentally booked onto the Glasgow bottomless brunch instead of Hull. Totally my mistake. I emailed them and got an automated reply saying someone would be in touch within 48 hours. 48 hours came and went and I expected to be £300 out of pocket. But they did good in the end. It was sorted and the tickets changed. Very relieved and thankful

Cardiff Emo Brunch 29/7/23 - This was my first (and probably last!) Brunch Club event. It was set to be 2-6pm. The DJ didn’t start playing the music until gone half 2 after someone had gone up to ask why there was a delay.
The event just consisted of a DJ playing songs that he clearly didn’t know, not saying a single word to the crowd, and that was essentially it. He actually switched over to a different DJ an hour before the end, which meant that many songs were repeated. Boulevard of Broken Dreams was actually played THREE times - the first DJ was that clueless about the music that he didn’t realise he was playing the same songs over again.
There was a ‘percussionist’ who set the drums up an hour into the event and played over a couple of songs here and there. He didn’t know the songs either, so this was just very distracting and actually ruined the music. He actually turned around and winked to the DJ when he actually played one song that he did know!
I cannot begin to fathom what I paid £20pp for… I could have played the music at home. I thought it was going to be more of an ‘event’.
I know that the drinks aren’t organised by Brunch Club, but as a side note, these were also terrible. £13 for the worst espresso martini I’ve ever had - there wasn’t any espresso in it. And very clearly watered-down Jagerbombs. There wasn’t any brunch or food on offer.
I would say avoid! Total rip off for the price charged.

Booked the Spice Girls Drag Bottomless Brunch in Newcastle, turned up to the venue on the day that the address was clearly displayed on all advertisements and our tickets. To find that the venue was in fact closed. We asked the venue next door and they said the venue went bust weeks ago (probably even before we bought the tickets). There is no way to contact the brunch club to get an immediate response therefore had no choice but to assume it was cancelled and have been asking for a refund ever since. After a week of emailing I got a response this morning to say the event went ahead and asking where we went? The doors were locked and there were no lights on inside?? I have checked my emails multiple times and there is NOTHING to suggest a change of venue or anything. So I'm still waiting for our money back and an explanation.

How you can get away with being an event organiser and not having a telephone number is beyond me??

To think people use their hard earned money for a fun day out and get such a poor service is actually disgusting.

Edit 07/08/23: The Brunch Club have been in touch and promised a refund for last Friday which I am yet to receive.

Edit 09/08/23: finally received the refund in full, took a lot of emails, reviews and pestering with some passive aggressive emails back from the brunch club but we got there in the end. Almost 3 weeks after the event. My opinion remains unchanged.

Great time today for the spice girls drag! Atmosphere was great, considering the acts we're ill they managed to bring in a new posh spice who was brilliant and we all still had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves

We had such a great time today at the brunch club. At the courtyard Chelmsford!

They were let down by three drag queens and still pulled it out the bag!

I will Definitely be booking again

The atmosphere is good. We had a good drag Queen this time Roberta Calamari who was really professional. The show itself needs an experienced drag queen to lead the crowd or someone that knows how to recover a bombing crowd. It fell flat at times and Roberta stepped in and recovered this. The food was okay. The drinks were pretty poor. Very sugary and weak, make my your teeth feel gritty. It’s great we have this in Exeter but needs polishing for the cost. Roberta Calamari should lead these events or learn from his experience and the venue need to work on the drinks especially as they are only bottomless for an hour but because of the taste that’s more than enough. I have given a 3 star because the concept is good just polish it, E.g. spotlights on the stage, a glittery back drop to show off the drag queens outfits, better drinks would help also. Would still return as we don’t have much of this in Exeter, but just being constructive to make a good show better.

Awful customer service and ruined my hen do.
So called “drag” 2 women dressed up as Disney characters is not drag, food was raw and moldy, drinks had no alcohol in them and the “entertainment” was 2 women dressed in costumes who did not even know the words to the songs. Their “outfit changes” was a piece of paper stapled around their costumes.
6 of us but we’re only given 1 pitcher and had to complain every single time. Yet a table of 2 got 2 pitchers straight away.
I asked for a full refund and never got a reply.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS AWFUL BUSINESS

Poor management

I complained 3 weeks ago and they never replied or refunded me.

A service I paid for but was not given.

We booked tickets for the emo boat party. In the tickets it said 1pm to 5pm. We ended up only boarding almost at 2pm and got out of the boat at 4:30pm, so losing over one hour of the party. Everyone was leaving the boat dissatisfied and complaining. When I emailed a complaint about this, I got a reply saying basically it wasn’t their fault and to deal with it. Safe to say there’s plenty of events in London, no need to waste time and money on this, so won’t be buying tickets to their events again.

Food was good but the at atmosphere was fantastic with music from ABBA and the 1970s playing non stop.
I expected the amount of drinks to be limited but I was completely wrong as the drinks both mocktails and cocktails including Prosecco flowing from the time we arrived until we left.
The two ladies entertaining us with ABBA songs were great and had us all up singing and dancing - thank very much for a brilliant 60th birthday celebration.

The acts are amazing, funny lots of chat and honestly the music was fantastic.

Can’t wait to go again.

What a great afternoon we had such a great time the entertainment was good and we had so much fun. We will defiantly look to book another one when we can.

I went to the 90s Boozy brunch in Cardiff, a group of us went for a hen party!
What can I say what a amazing event we had so much fun! Definitely worth every penny from the food, to the cocktails, I was obsessed with the ‘ You Tart ‘

Had a great time in Birmingham , venue jojo lounge and staff were lovely. We attended the Pop Icons Drag event it was hilarious.

One star is for the music which was really great. The rest of our experience was an absolute shambles and a total waste of our £45 per head.
Abba Bottomless Brunch Leeds 15 April 2023. The venue and session times were changed 4 days before the event without any explanation. The venue was not ready, still putting cutlery out & getting drinks ready 10 minutes after it was supposed to start. The food was substandard & not what I ordered. They ran out of Procesco and stopped serving drinks 5 minutes before the end. DON’T BOOK THIS, a total waste of money

I fed back to the brunch club after we had a negative experience at one of their brunch’s. I tried to feedback through their online feedback form but they ignored the feedback, then I tried to contact them through Facebook and they blocked me.
The food was greasy, cold and had clearly been prepared earlier in the day (several of us had food poisoning following the event), we reached the bottom of our bottomless drinks and the drag acts came on after 2 hours but were very poorly rehearsed. The main entertainment was other patrons, like us trying to have the best time we could.

If I could give zero stars for the abba brunch in Cardiff I would. Nobody told us on arrival what was happening. 12 o'clock when the prosecco was due to start the barman told me sit down as they was on their way over. Twenty five minutes later back to the bar to be told it started at 12. Girl with dirty finger nails gave us a quarter glass of prosecco. Burgers were freezing and burnt. Had to go to Greggs to get food ! Manager didn't want to know. Blamed agent. Emailed agent three times. No response. Wasted £180. Going to report them to trading standards. The abba tribute were rubbish as well and mimed the whole time. Please don't go. I have never felt so ripped off in my entire life.

I have been trying to get in touch with The Brunch Club for a week. I purchased gift vouchers for the value of £50 in November & have been trying to make a booking but the vouchers only redeem £25.
I am trying to contact The Brunch Club for help in sorting this matter out but I appear to be being ignored.
This actually breaches online selling laws. I will give it until Monday & then seek legal advice in order to get my money back & to report them.

90s Baby brunch at Fire Vauxhall for my daughter's 18th.

Booking was easy and Nicky was really helpful via emails.
Saw mixed reviews so a bit worried but in the most part we had a ball!! Our party of 13 ranged from 18 to 77 years old and everyone had a great time.

Pros:
Easy venue near station.
Helpful attentive staff.
Good choice of food and really tasty and hot on arrival.
Plenty of drinks during bottomless hour- nice cocktails (not watered down) and plenty of cans of beer.
Great DJ with a good mix of 90s tracks- we danced the whole time.

Cons:
Venue is an underground club so bit dingy, bit of a nightclub smell as you would expect and the toilets could have been a bit nicer! But not that bad to put us off.
App to book food a bit intense but staff very helpful if you get stuck.
Entertainment - 2 girls singing some 90s songs - enthusiastic but just like karaoke- didn't really get it? Don't feel it bought anything to the event but it was only for a short time.

For the money we paid I couldn't really fault it - great food and drink and fun if you like a dance and a laugh. Friendly and helpful staff from start to finish. Thanks I'm sure we will return!!!
