Damaged goods and return refused
Having spent many thousands on a table the one delivered had water damage.
When we reported it we were told that we must have caused the damage. They sent someone to repair it who agreed it was prior water damage and that a complete fix was impossible.
The Conran store later refused to accept it was delivered damaged.

Regretful Purchase and Unhelpful Customer Service at The Conran Shop
I deeply regret purchasing the 'Cross Leg Lounge Chair' from The Conran Shop. Despite its premium price, the poorly designed legs began scratching my floors within two years—a clear design flaw. When I contacted customer service, I was met with unhelpful emails, and their only solution was to recommend felt pads. This suggestion is not only impractical given the chair's leg design but also completely absurd.
The product quality and lack of genuine support from The Conran Shop have left me extremely disappointed. I expected much better for the price and reputation of this store. I will not be a customer here anymore.

Great product, poor logistics
Although the outsourced delivery service (Wincanton) was appalling, the response from the Conran shop itself was excellent. The product is great and I’m hoping that they outsource delivery to someone more professional in future.

Outstanding customer service
Outstanding customer service. 5 stars.
One of our Gubi Beetle chairs broke which we'd had for a couple of years. We sent a photo to Conran who informed us they didn't sale this style of chair anymore but went out of their way to arrange a replacement chair to be delivered from Gubi. Not only did they replace the boken chair but swopped over another which was showing signs of a small stress fracture. Anna at Conran customer services kept us informed at every stage whilst we waited for the replacement chairs to arrive. First Class!!!

Positives first….Shopping via the website was easy. The electrician fitting the light was impressed with the quality of the build.
Now the negatives, even though the light is only in a small downstairs cloakroom, the light given out is insufficient and a tad depressing.

Products not fit for purpose
Do not buy anything from the Mags range. Despite saying these are suitable for outdoors- they all shatter. Only when you make a complaint will you be told they aren't meant to be kept outdoors. You will get no support from customer service.
Re: to Connran response. As you've been advised repeatedly. 4 side tables and coffee tables have not blown over. They have shattered due to a manufacturing fault. These have a 2 year manufacturing guarantee which you are refusing to honor. You have also advised upon complaint that these items are not to be kept outdoors, despite being advertised for indoors and outdoor use.
My review stands and has worsened due to the complete lack of accountability and customer service provided.

Thank you for your feedback, I do apologise that you are not happy with our response. I can confirm that our Mag Table range is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The tables are made from ceramic and have a heat, frost and chemical resistant glaze. However, the tables can still become damaged should they receive a blow or be knocked over accidentally. I will ensure that your case is reviewed and have a member of the team come back to you accordingly.

Great example of good customer services
After ordering a lamp online, it unfortunately turned up damaged. I contacted customer services via email and had a same day response from Sue. She was brilliant, organised a replacement to arrive on Saturday, pick up of the damaged item on Monday, and a complimentary extra bulb for the inconvenience. She responded quickly, was pleasant and did everything to resolve the issue asap. Very much appreciated!
