Together they set out to create a catalogue of charming home upgrades. From the start, the OKA team has called on talented artisans from all over the world to bring its ideas to life. Our furniture and homewares prioritise beauty, comfort and style, but we choose items for their integrity, not because they fit a prescribed look. The magic of OKA is the mix: hand-picked global treasures, rich textures and patterns, and timeless furniture profiles. It’s ever-changing but unwaveringly British; elegant and easy-going; sophisticated but never stiff. And our name? OKA is a phonetic take on ochre, a colour that nods to the East, yet feels innately British. A blend of cultures and aesthetics working in perfect harmony, which is at the heart of everything we do. Visited OKA in Knutsford today
Visited OKA in Knutsford today to find the final few items for our living room makeover. We have made several visits to the store in the last few months and found many beautiful items and we were not disappointed this time. Louise was especially helpful and her knowledge of the products and her willingness to display different colours in various settings really helped our decisions. It is also worth mentioning that all of the staff have been excellent throughout our visits. Well done OKA.

Badly damaged furniture
One of the items (a large chest-of-drawers) was very badly damaged, but the box was unscathed, leading me to believe that the item was shipped when damaged. Also, a 15-minute delivery slot isn't long enough to carry, unload, unpack, and remove the packaging for two large pieces of furniture, although the delivery team was fantastic.

A great shopping experience
All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Amelia and Natasha were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble when considering how furnishings worked together. They gave as much time as I needed but they do not push you to buy. It is a very nice shopping experience.

Although their products are excellent…their delivery charges are outrageous
Although their products are excellent their delivery costs are an insult.
I recently purchased a light from their concession in Tunbridge Wells at a cost of over £200 and had to pay a delivery cost even if I used a pick up in store.
So I have to pay for my petrol (and time) to travel back to the store AND pay for delivery to the store....ridiculous!!
What an avaricious company.....
NOT impressed as you will gather.....

My friend spotted the rug we wanted in the Marlow store, it was reduced. I called up and Kate did the rest. So easy, it was delivered a few days later and looks great in our house.

The delivery service is a shambles.
The delivery service is a shambles.
They cancelled the delivery on the scheduled day without communicating it to me. The reason was that there were only 2 men and 3 men were needed as it was heavy. When they arrived the week later there were 2 men. They refused to do it was the patio was wet and they didn’t want to dirty their clothes. It was garden furniture. After protest they eventually agreed to deliver and assemble it. They were 30 later than the £30 extra premium slot I booked. The standard delivery for the item was £95! Neptune delivery is £30 across the board and they are 100% better.
Watch out for multiple sales. Don’t pay the full price as it will likely go into 20-40% off the week later then probably an extra 10% off.
The shop staff are always extremely friendly and helpful however there is clearly an issue with the logistics.

A great experience at the Oka store in Bicester. The space is beautifully curated, browsing is a real pleasure. The team are friendly, and offer great advice making you feel well looked after. Lucy and T are lovely and Finley was kind enough to help me carry my bags to the car. I found the style of the furniture and homeware very unique. Overall, a really enjoyable visit and a store well worth returning to
