The conran shop, the kind of shop where client support can explain to customers that a 1 year-old 1000€-chair falling ONCE on the floor from its own height (roughly 45cm high) and can be out of order, without any problem of structure...to avoid refund or costly re-shipping

Fantastic product, amazing price and simple to order.

Ordered some beautiful looking frames a few months ago. Opened them to inspect them for damage, all seemed okay - the glass of one of them had a small bit of damage in the corner but it was hidden by the frame surround so I couldn't be bothered with returning it. The other frame seemed absolutely fine - until I recently put my artwork in it after having custom mounts made for it.

Only once the artwork was placed inside, I noticed something that looked like a small hair on the glass. I tried to brush it off, but upon closer inspection, it turns out it's inside the glass, so I'm unable to remove it. Whilst trying to solve the mystery hair situation, I noticed that the entire piece of glass is actually warped and incredibly bad quality. Hair can not be removed and is in the middle of the frame, very visible and ruining the appearance of the artwork.

Thought I'd get in touch with customer service, but they've been the most unhelpful CS I've encountered in a long while. As it's after the 28 days returns policy, there is nothing they are willing to do, as I should have realised earlier that the products have manufacturing defects. They would have exchanged it, but they no longer sell the frames, so too bad for me. Gesture of goodwill : 10% off my next order. But after knowing the bad quality of products they sell, I will never be ordering from the Conran Shop again.

I completely understand that the products were purchased a few months ago, but manufacturing defects don't appear suddenly, so it's not something I could have caused. I wrongly thought that they would be keen to make sure all products sold are of good quality, but seems they do not rate customer satisfaction at all. Shame.

The glass has major defects in them

Lovely-looking step chair - and immensely practical!

After being a happy shopper at the Conran shop for years I finally purchased a dinner set that was chipping at an abnormal rate. Within a few months I connected customer service about it. Anna Pisoni dealt with my case in a kind and helpful manner. It took time for samples to be returned and tested which she organised and kept me in the loop about. The issue was resolved without any stress - throughout I felt assured that they cared about their customers. Thank you.

Good clear information on delivery times

I received the wrong order from Conran. Holly from customer service was very helpful and efficient, responded quickly to my email and the correct parcel was delivered.

I have to agree with Catherine Bates, previous reviewer.
Last year November 2022 both your Chelsea and Marylebone stores were packed with funky items and gadgets. I bought a Twemco flip clock and Bialetti milk frother, couldn't find anything similar in either Marylebone or Sloane Square this time, I visited in November 2023. It feels like the stores are more conceptual with fitted out kitchens etc, I'm quite sad and disappointed as I always pop into Peter Jones next door. I don't live in London but love London, Conran Shop was a treat!

So disappointed by the new Conran Store on Sloane Square. This should have been a small extra store it’s so minimal with little to discover, compared to the original store. Absolute tragedy we have lost a true London design experience.

Great communication, my item was packaged very well and delivery was straightforward.

The Conran Shop has just gone through a big change in the products they provide and have so much less to choose from now. Not what it once was. It used to be fantastic. But the customer service from Anna was as good as it gets: super efficient and helpful, kind and polite. I’d give Anna 6 stars but the Conran Shop now gets 3 stars sadly (before this change it would have been 5 stars)

Perfect - unusual quality gift, quick and easy shop and delivery

Very good after service help from Holly in Customer Services at the Conran Shop.
I bought some chairs from there a couple of years ago and one of the leg protector caps came off making the chair unusable. Having contacted and emailed the Conran Shop, Holly has been really responsive and within a couple of weeks the replacement protector cap has arrived and the chair is back in working order. Thanks so much.

Lovely Christmas tree decorations arrived in perfect condition and look great in our new kitchen. (They were seen in store but not available online.)

Information is not correct on the website and for a 300€ order with 30€ delivery fee you end up with an extra 100€ to pay... this is not quite serious.
