Theft Stop Reviews

Great product, great service. Theft Stop fitted a bear lock to our old camper van and it gave us real peace of mind having that level of security fitted so we decided to use them again on our new van. The service at Theft Stop is excellent and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a high level of protection.

I had my bear lock installed in my campervan this afternoon by Martin and the entire experience with the team at Theft Stop has been great! As I've only had it installed for less than 24 hours I can't speak on the longevity of the bear lock, but from the explanation of the system and how it works from Martin once it was installed it seems like a really solid product and lock system.

Martin travelled to me to install the lock system and was on time and called ahead to confirm ETA and fitted the lock in just under 1 hour!

Great customer service and service delivery from start to finish and would highly recommend the team at Theft Stop to anyone.

Very friendly company, staff were great and security items were installed no issues, would not hesitate to recommend.

Easy helpful communication. Great customer service and service delivery. A very positive experience :) thank you!

I had a gear selector lock fitted today on my camper. I am extremely happy with the installation. It is neat and very unobtrusive. The fitter worked well an was very clean and tidy. The whole process from ordering to fitting was simple and professional. I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

The whole process from start to finish was excellent, I asked for a Bear Lock and Safe to be fitted quickly as I am going away and the team came up trumps.
Martin who fitted the items was very professional and friendly and completed the task efficiently leaving no mess what so ever.

Good communication, speedy install with no mess.
We’re really happy with the transmission lock, it isn’t noticeable, and a small price to pay for the extra peace of mind when we have to leave the van behind. Definitely recommend the company at theftstop.co.uk and their Bear Lock security product.

Excellent service and workmanship, would highly recommend. Fantastic product

Excellent service

We searched the internet for practical, unobtrusive, anti-theft deterrents for our T6 VW Camper van. We came across Theft Stop and their anti-theft lock ‘Bear Lock’ through one of their affiliates on YouTube.
It’s no secret that camper vans can be notoriously easy to break into and steal. Many factory and aftermarket anti-theft devices can be overridden in minutes.

Bear Lock ticked all the right boxes; discreet, practical and prevents a vehicle from being driven away. With no membership required or software to update or override, even cloning the ignition key or hacking into the vans ECU and tracker would be pointless, once Bear Lock is deployed.

Bear lock is simple to use and provides peace of mind… whether you park in built-up areas or remote countryside anywhere in the world. You can be safe in the knowledge, that your camper van should still be where you left it, on your return.

From the initial enquiry to install, Jaros and his team are total professionals. Having spoken to Jaros and discussed the process over the phone, he calls back when he says he will… Assigning us one of his installation team, Martin called to confirm a convenient fitting date and time. Working around the van build, he turned up on time with minimum fuss and interruption.

Martin’s customer service is exemplary and something Theft Stop should be proud of. He is an excellent ambassador for the company!
As our van was in build and 200 miles away, Martin kept me updated throughout install; a video inspection of the van before installation, wrapping the steering wheel and gear knob and parts of the dash in protective film before he started. On completion, Martin sent me a finished video and detailed explanation of how to use the Bear Lock. A totally professional install.

I would not hesitate in recommending Theft Stop and Bear Lock, to anyone looking to add extra security to their camper van. A first class service and product that should be a factory fitted option to any van. Well done and thanks Jaros!

Thank you, was a great experience, fitter was great and very polite and explained everything very well.

Theft stop fitted my bear lock at the dubbed out festival, same day. Great service and really friendly.

Thank you the Theft Stop crew for an amazing product. Great insight, communications and installation (whilst at a festival) , of a really great solid mechanical security device. This has really put my mind at rest, whenever I'm leaving my T6 campervan. I know it has enhanced security with the Bear Lock. Martin the installer was brilliant, very professional, tidy, answered all my questions and finally walking me through how simple and effective it is to use. 5 STAR RATING fully recommend

Excellent customer service. All was explained. All questions answered. Very helpful and knowledgeable

Great advice before and after fitting. Explained everything and demonstrated after. Highly recommend

Really impressed with the guys from Theft Stop. Very speedy, clean and tidy install. The product is just great and would highly recommend. Great peace of mind for your pride and joy. Thx guys.

Briliant device fitted to my gears in my camping car. I was robbed for my scooter only but it put the willies up me metaphorically! Took some time to feel confident again and leave my van, but bear lock really has helped. I´m going back for a safe now as well.

A really professional job. We came to a campsite near Coventry and the fitter came and did the installation at the site.

Early days but it seems a solid and sound product, well fitted with the minimum of disruption and fuss by Martin and Andrej who were both very friendly and efficient. I bought this for peace of mind when leaving my van alone and am confident it will provide that assurance. I have no hesitation in recommending Theft Stop.

We have just had a Bear Lock fitted to our VW Grand California and the whole process was professional and efficient from start to finish
Highly recommend 😁
