My wife lost a ring

My wife lost a ring from her finger and TH March did an excellent job of talking us through what they needed from our side (evidence of loss, paperwork etc.) and then settling the bill with the jeweller for the rebuild of the ring. Thank you for the smooth resolution of the loss.

Would definitely recommend!

I am very pleased with my experience so far! Unfortunately, I sadly lost my gold bracelet which I’ve had insured with TH March since 2023. I contacted them to make a claim, and Jade kindly guided me through the entire process. Within the week my claim was approved, I was informed that the funds for a replacement bracelet would be sent to the jeweller of my choice by the end of this week, I just had to pay small difference which was fine with me. Thank you so much for the excellent support, I would highly recommend TH March!

Really happy with my experience with TH…

Really happy with my experience with TH March. I had my engagement ring insured with them since 2019. Unfortunately, I lost the ring this year. Claiming on the policy was quite straightforward and the claim handler - Megan Perry - was very responsive and quick to answer emails. The whole claim was processed very swiftly and I have a replacement ring that I’m very happy with. Although I’m still gutted to have lost my original ring, I’m pleased I didn’t have to deal with a stressful insurance claim on top of that. Big recommend from me.

Very poor experience

No matter how many times I try to call/leave a message, no one calls you back - especially from their private collection team. I get people are busy, but so are we and if they are not interested in your business, they should say so and not waste my time. Very unprofessional

Fraudulent Insurer

Please, do not insure with this company. They are very quick to take a premium and in the event a claim occurs, they try as much not to fulfil their obligation. I insured my Rolex with them and unfortunately had to make a claim. It has been over 6months and still have not had my claim resolved.

If I could have given no star I would

If I could have given no star I would . For 2 years I have insured a piece of jewellery with this company . Got a reminder and quote for the next year. Tried to renew this in my daughters name .. followed all advice … my daughter phoned to give her details . Very helpful staff on phone . It was decided by the under writers they were not willing to give a quote or insure . If I had known 2 years ago I would not have gone with this company. Not given I reason for this . I will not be recommending this company to anyone .

From one insurer to the next, each can have different criteria and restrictions when deciding what to underwrite or not. For example, a range of insurers may avoid insuring unemployed persons or students for example, whereas another firm may specialise in this. Since we use one specific insurer only for specialist standalone insurance for jewellery, watches and private collections, it means that we cannot always provide good news for every person applying for insurance. We do appreciate that by us being the face of this bad news, it has impacted how you and your daughter feel about us. Nevertheless, we are sorry that we cannot help her further. We are also sorry that due to data protection reasons, we are unable to discuss your daughter’s case with you.

Could be smoother

The process of arranging insurance is fairly easy but the confirmation emails are a little confusing. You also don’t get any immediate notification on either email or the webpage when you have uploaded a valuation document, leaving me unsure if it actually works or not.

Far from impressed with the service…

Far from impressed with the service thus far. I’ve recently purchased a watch and agreed to insure with them however the service is really slow and somewhat lacking. I’ve sent emails with information they’ve requested only to have to chase them 7 days later as I’ve not had a response, this is despite them telling me I only had interim cover for 14 days. As a high end specialist insurer I would have expected a much better service

Buyer Beware. Your Watch may not be insured !!!!

After a few Weeks and after my premium payment, they called to say my proposed insurance was rejected, because I purchased a Rolex ‘Not from a dealer’ - which is true, I purchased from a friend, all papers correct, original AD receipt included ( Goldsmiths ) receipt from seller to me, and a copy of my transaction from my bank proving payment, all photographs, warranty card, hang tags, box pictures - All 100% present and correct. BE WARNED TH MARCH wil NOT insure any watch unless you purchase through an AD - this is their wording, not mine !!

Since we use one specific insurer only for specialist standalone insurance for jewellery, watches and private collections, it means that we cannot always provide good news for every person applying for insurance. Providing quotations, guidance and the right insurance cover to people makes us happy, and we certainly do not operate to waste anyone’s time. However, customer feedback is integral to our progress, and we are always trying to make the customer journey easier. We are continuously looking at how it can be possible to flag insurers’ declinature or query areas as early as possible. We appreciate that making all of this easier is in everyone’s interests, and we very much appreciate you taking the time to provide your comments.

Time wasters

TH March came recommended from the jeweller that i purchased a watch from. After spending over an hour on the phone trying to get private collection insurance, I was told they would get back to me the next day. Needless to say they didn't bother calling me back, when I reached out to find out what was going on they flatly said they could not provide a quite and would not give me a reason as to why. The manner of the employee on the phone was unhelpful and rude. If you fancy wasting a couple hours out of your busy day then by all means give these guys a call, otherwise best avoided.

Although we did our best to work around this by seeking permission to talk to a designated employee, the relaying of questions and answers required certainly can delay the process as happened here resulting in multiple calls.
