Excellent service on a very tight deadline
I booked my motorhome into Thurlow Nunn of Kings Lynn to diagnose the cause of an Engine management light and the loss of cruise control and the stop/start function. Already having a trip booked to Europe starting on the Sunday, I was very nervous and anxious as to whether they could diagnose the fault and carry our the necessary work required to repair it in just 2 days!
I can honestly say, Michael at the service department desk was absolutely brilliant. He pulled out all the stops, along with the amazing technicians, they diagnosed the fault, replaced the faulty part, carried out an MOT and returned my vehicle to me within 48 hours.
First class service. Michael, thank you do much for all that you did to make that possible.

DO NOT go to Thurlow Nunn unless you want to throw your hard earned money away.
Recently brought a grandland from Thurlow nunn luton, was served by Shaz ‘the best sales advisor they have’. Well since buying the car I’ve had multiple issues, firstly I was promised a full tank of petrol and they tried to be sneaky with giving me three quarters full, thinking I wouldn’t notice probably because I’m a female but getting the extra £20 in fuel back which I was promised has been an absolute nightmare.
The car was also ‘checked’ by the staff at Vauxhall before collecting, but I drove away with a wheel nut missing? then the same day of picking up the vehicle the side light fell out and was hanging. So I took the vehicle back and was told by Shaz “you just need to push it back in”. Now I’m not sure if this is common knowledge or if I’m being made out to be incompetent but surely a car wouldn’t be made with a light that “just has to be pushed back in”. There was also a fault with the cigarette lighter which wasn’t working or checked when selling the car and had to be amended.
Now Im having another issue where the vehicle is going into limp mode because of a fuel leak being detected. This is the second breakdown in the last week which I nursed the vehicle back to Thurlow nunn as I was specially told by multiple staff that if the car breaks down again to have the car recovered to Themselves and now after I’ve dropped the vehicle I’m being told I could encounter storage charges till the diagnostic appointment in October.
I also surprisingly do no qualify for a curtesy car until the vehicle goes for the diagnostic check although there earliest booking is October which means I’ve been left stranded till then. Bare in mind I was promised when purchasing the car that I would be entitled to a curtesy car if a problem would present itself. I was then told by a women from the service department that the RAC cover I brought with the car will cover a curtesy car which in fact doesn’t as they only cover for 3 days and after that which I’ve stated I’m being left stranded with no other option. Please bare in mind when buying the vehicle Shaz had said that if anything goes wrong with the vehicle we would be given a curtesy car given that I had stated multiple times I cannot go without a car hence going out of my way to pay in FULL and even paid the extra extended warranty for 3 years just to ensure that doesn’t happen.
The women at the service desk has also tried to palm off their branch by saying if I wanted to get the work done sooner to take my vehicle to another branch.
Well clearly the sales team are imputing dishonesty in order to sell cars as I was also promised upon buying the car that a new MOT would be issued so I wouldn’t have to worry about that till a year come, tell me why that hasn’t been done ?
I’m honestly outraged by the fact that your hard earned money can basically be robbed by a company that deems themselves to be ‘legitimate’. The Biggest Vauxhall dealership in the nation , then when something goes wrong they then blame the other departments saying “that’s nothing to do with me” as if they were 5.
Please remember the guy that sold us this vehicle has awards for the being the best sales representative in the Luton branch which is mind boggling given the experience we have had.
I now have to waste my day and take another day off work just to be told they cannot do anything for me given that they had just sold me a faulty car. To make matters worse My partner also has to come away from his own business in order to assist me once again, because when I went to the Luton branch I was fobbed off and not took seriously given that the fault was a fuel leak until my partner had to kick up a fuss with the staff just to have some sort of action executed. I find it outrageous that the same outcome was not a first step taken or maybe it was the fact that I am a women and the Luton branch is bigoted and xenophobic.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THERE
Not to mention now my car has another issue the engine light is on and off and the car is not driveable when the engine light appears and I had paid to have it diagnosed on top of the big 3 year warranty we had paid incase anything went wrong, just to be told to book and bring the car in when the engine light is on. The constant on and off means it isn’t guaranteed to be on when I have dropped the car which means an initial waste of my time … So where do we go from here ? They are no help what a joke.

Took nearly two weeks to get our deposit back despite chasing numerous times. We would still be without our deposit if we hadn’t called them eight times and each time promised a call back. If you do not buy a car from them they do not care about after sales. AVOID this dealership at all costs!!!!!!
