I ordered a Retrax Pro MX retractable cover from TonneauCovered.com after doing quite a bit of research and talking to my forum friends who had positive experiences with them.

When the tonneau arrived, the rails unfortunately were not the right type (I ordered it with the stake pocket cutouts for use with my bed cage). Being a weekend I figured I'd just call and leave a message and to my surprise...the customer service team texted me back immediately to confirm what the issue was! Shaun was great and understood exactly what the mixup was and connected me with Katleen, who got it all squared away in a matter of minutes! Overall I'm extremely happy with the excellent customer service and unbeatable prices, you guys definitely earned my business now and in the future!

I had a great experience with TonneauCovered. I worked with Peter, who was patient and helpful, as well as quick to answer my million questions. He helped me navigate differences between similar covers I was considering, and ultimately helped me quickly place my order.
The pricing cannot be beat. I paid $200 less all said and done than I would have anywhere else.
When I got my cover, there was damage to the rail from shipping. Kathleen and the support staff helped me quickly file a claim and within 48 hours they were able to schedule a completely new cover to be sent to me. They also provided easy-to-follow instructions for how to handle the damaged cover.
I would absolutely purchase from them again!

Now this is a follow on from a previous review.
First the order process was greatly enhanced my the CS rep and then I ordered the product.
It came fairly quick and the install was very easy. After a few weeks I noticed a defect and contact the CS and after a few emails and pictures they replaced my cover.
Very satisfied with product and service.
My background is manufacturing and I understand things happen when things are made. The real story here is how they took care of it.
After showing them the issue, there was an immediate “ we will fix that problem and send you another one”
That is customer service, that is how you do it.
This is truly a company that I will come back to and one that I will recommend.

I would like to thank JC for the extra effort given to me with the purchase of my AMP power steps.. the price was perfect the shipping was quick and the tracking process was awesome.

The Company was awesome to work with . Ordered my Tonneau MX4 cover easily, got a great price for it. It arrived a head of time and was easy to install. Me and a friend installed it in 30 mins. Fits and looks awesome. Just love it. Recommend this company they are awesome.

I've read some reviews about packages being late, getting lost, not being in stock, and I just gotta say the while team that has been helping me (Amy,JC,Peter,Etc) have been outstanding.
They were quick, they were clear when an item was out of stock and whether or not they could get the product I wanted (RetraxPro XR) and once they located one the cover was here within a week.
I must have asked for a quote about 5 or 6 times and each time they helped and provided some of the best customer service I've experienced (worked retail 7+ years).
I had questions during my install and they responded promptly during business hours and helped me through it. 10/10 will buy from them again if I get a new truck that needs a cover, or just any other accessories they provide.

Ordered a cover, received it, package very well. Installed and immediately noticed a gap and folds in rubber molding.
Contacted customer service, sent pictures and after two emails, they said they would be sending me a replacement.
At this point very satisfied with the way they are taking care of the issues. Defect occur, the way they are handled make the company, and thus far it is perfectly acceptable.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered a cover and it was delivered a month later. It was the wrong cover. Shipped back the cover and have still not received a refund.

I’ve been very happy with the service I received on the 2 products I purchased from your business. Pricing was reasonable & shipping was quick. Both the Back Flip & Weathertec bed protector were the only 2 items I needed but I could be interested in other products except the parts catalog you sent me would not open. Should I see something else that catches my eye, I may purchase additional items from your business. I talked to JC Desor & he was able to get the bed protector I wanted very quickly with no problems. Over all, I’m very satisfied working with your company.

Ordered a cover from this company over a month and a half ago, once the had my money with no update as far as delivery, the customer service was terrible. Constantly stalling and when I asked for a refund because my cover never shipped, again I was met with opposition and never once apologized only made more excuses. Please, do not use them and if you do, make sure the item is in stock as they will take your money and never advise you of inventory delays. Buyer beware.

UPDATE JAN 2022: They tried to get me to revise my review with a $25.00 gift card. LOL Never gonna happen!
ORIGINAL REVIEW:I could NEVER recommend this company or Peter. He, and his staff, misled me and then did not follow up. They had already received my money ($1,300.00) and were unwilling to rectify the situation. This is the problem if you work with a company where you can't walk through the door and talk with someone while looking them in the eyes. It's just too easy to treat someone with disrespect, which is what they did to me. My advice would be to stay faaaar away from these clowns. It's just not worth it if you can't get your issue addressed.

I just want to say that Peter was outstanding. He was very patient and helpful. I would again buy from him.

The first challenge in selecting a tonneau cover for my first new truck was to figure out what I wanted. After researching through the Internet sites and reviews, I learned that I want a lockable cover for weather and theft protections, that is sturdy, easy to operate, durable/high quality, aesthetically pleasing on my truck to me, and has great reviews. I also want to prepare for an overland rack attachment later, that narrows down to a few brands and models. Retrax RetraxPro XR (with T-slot rails) was my eventual choice. I would have picked the PowertraxPro XR if it had a manual override for the latch. The next challenge was to look for a good source, immediate availability and great pricing. I found TonneauCovered.com that met all my criteria. After purchasing and went through a damaged (during shipping) canister replacement within a couple of days, I will say I am glad I chose Tonneau Covered. I thank Peter and Shaun for the great customer support during and after the sale. They are friendly, responsive, and have true interests in their customer needs. They exceeded my expectations. I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely deal with them again when I need another cover.

As a side note for Retrax, Retrax will improve by using stronger materials for the canister sides and/or design the packaging of the canister in a shipping box to withstand rough handling in any orientation of the box through shipment. "This side up" instruction on a big long heavy box can be easily ignored for a 1-person delivery person.

Peter was very responsive and got me a great price on my Backflip MX4 for my Ram 2500 with Rambox.

What an excellent cover. It arrived with one small dent, which was on the underside. Not a big deal. The shipping took a bit longer than expected. The product is fantastic and somewhat easy to install. The instructions could have been a bit better. I still rate it a 5. I contacted customer service due to a screw missing. They are very professional and helpful. I will do business with them again, if I need more of their products. Super customer service and a great asset to the customers.

bought a $900 BAK Revolver X2 Tonneau Cover. It was delivered with zero hardware in the box. I sat on hold for over an hour waiting for customer service and got nobody. Finally got an online chat to answer me. They said they have taken a ticket number and I will get a call from a rep in a few days. Are you kidding me? Thats the support you'll get if they mess up your $900 order like they did mine.

I have zero complaints, Peter gave me a great price on the Amp Research steps, ordered on Monday Morning, received them 2 days later doesn't get any better then that. Excellent customer service.
