Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we understand you are disappointed, we do need to clarify the facts of your booking so that others reading this review have an accurate picture of what happened.

You originally contacted us regarding a holiday, and on 08-01-2026, you voluntarily provided full confirmation and consent to proceed with the itinerary and price offered. Before anything was finalised, you were sent every detail for review — including the dates, flights, inclusions, and total cost. You approved these details in writing before we issued any documents.

Your booking confirmation and all documents were then sent within an hour, exactly as agreed. Everything issued to you was correct, complete, and transparent.

Three days later, on 11-01-2026, you contacted us requesting an extra night to be added to the holiday you had already confirmed. We clearly explained the process: any amendments after a confirmed booking would require new availability checks and would be subject to the airline’s and hotel’s live pricing — something we do not control.

At this point, you stated that unless we “covered the cost from our own pocket,” you would leave a negative review on social media. Despite this, one of our managers contacted you within the time frame you requested, discussed the situation thoroughly, and provided clear information about the change options and costs.

Unfortunately, even after providing proper explanations and support, the threat to leave a negative review was repeated, and the review was then posted.

✔️ The customer received correct documents.
✔️ The customer approved the booking details before confirmation.
✔️ The booking was made exactly as requested and consented to.
✔️ The later issue arose only after the customer wanted to add an extra night post-confirmation, which naturally requires additional cost.
✔️ No misleading information or pressure was applied at any stage.

We always strive to provide honest, transparent, and supportive service. While we respect that travel plans can sometimes evolve, it is unfair to place blame on our company for changes requested after the holiday was fully confirmed.

We genuinely hope you still enjoy your stay, but it’s important to ensure that the situation is understood accurately by future customers.

All prices we provide — whether over the phone or through our social media platforms — are always subject to availability and live airline/hotel updates. This is clearly explained during every enquiry, including yours. Flight and hotel rates can change within minutes, especially during peak seasons or high-demand periods, and this is something completely outside of our control.

Our team had also explained how the pricing structure works, including the difference between the base fare and any intermediate or supplier-related charges. These details were communicated in advance, and no payment was ever processed for your booking. You were informed of this before any confirmation was attempted.

You were also contacted by our senior team purely to provide clarity — not to pressure you. Offering you alternative options was simply part of our standard customer service approach, not an attempt to “upsell” or mislead you. At no point were you refused a cancellation, because no completed booking existed to cancel.

We appreciate that travel pricing can sometimes be confusing, but the information shared with you was transparent, and we made every effort to support you throughout the conversation. We respect your decision to book elsewhere, but it’s important to clarify that there was no wrongdoing or mishandling from our end.

We wish you a pleasant holiday with your new provider, and we remain committed to offering honest, reliable service to all our customers.

At the time the price was discussed, all applicable costs were clearly outlined by our reservations team before any payment details were requested. We do not apply hidden charges, and no additional payments are taken without the customer’s clear confirmation and consent.

In your case, when an optional cost was identified and explained, you chose not to proceed with the booking, which we fully respected. As such, no booking was completed and no further charges were processed.

We would also like to clarify that we do not send repeated or pressurising messages, nor do we threaten customers with future charges if they decide not to proceed. Any communication sent is strictly related to providing clarification or confirming the customer’s decision.

At Travel Trek, every set of holiday documents—including hotel details, transfer instructions, timings, and flight information—is always sent to our customers well in advance. As part of our standard process, we request every customer to re-check all details and reply with “Received the documents – all are correct”. In your case, we did receive this confirmation from you, which indicates that all information, including hotel location and transfer details, was reviewed and approved before travel.

Regarding the transfers, the correct timings and instructions were provided to the relevant transfer providers & in your documents too. For smooth collection, it is essential to follow the exact instructions and inform the provider directly you need to prior to contact the transfer providers 24 hours prior to the departure time, if there are any delays or uncertainties. Transfer companies require passengers to be present at the designated spot at the confirmed time, and any variation can lead to missed services. Where unexpected issues arose, such as your inbound transfer, we covered the cost immediately to ensure your journey continued without inconvenience.

We absolutely value your business, and our intention is always to deliver a smooth and enjoyable holiday. While we regret that this experience was not as you hoped, we are confident that all procedures, paperwork, and instructions were correctly provided and acknowledged ahead of your departure.
