Closing down sale just scam.

This is a scam and nothing less. Polo shirt with Polo Logo is advertised, a flimsy shirt arrived in the delivery with no brand, no tags, no logo; the rag is not even stitched properly. This is a pure scam.

This a scam back to china. They in my case didn’t deliver and they don’t refund for non delivery. You end up swapping emails with a bot. Seriously I don’t know how they can be still operating in Australia

DO NOT purchase from this store. They are not located in Melbourne, they are a Chinese scam company. You will pay Australian prices for cheap plastic rubbish. I purchased a pair of boots and leather sandals at a cost of $132. I thought I was buying from an Australian business. I can't even find ABN number so they clearly are not legit. They sent me plastic heels instead of boots and the supposed leather sandals were synthetic. The company refuses to refund me unless I return the items and pay for return shipping which is estimated at around AU$100 which is where the scamming begins. No one is going to pay the return costs so they are scamming people by charging top dollar for $2 worth of shoes. Despite it being an error at their end as they sent me the wrong shoes and deceivingly described the sandals as leather, they are still insisting that I pay postage. Please do not give this company your hard earned money.

Bought sneakers online and they were poorly made and poor quality, they didn’t look like the advertised photo at all, they were not true to size and they were too small.
I threw them away, total waste of money.
Zero stars.
Stay away from this company.

Continuation on from last review. I have contacted you three times for return authorisation and address and you keep saying you understand my frustration. Also offered for me to keep the items, that do not fit and not my style, with a 20% discount on next order. As if I would reorder. Chinese scam company I feel.

The polo shirt was simple but looked tidy when paired with jeans.

Terrible company. Ordered a shirt. They sent some random low quality shirt that was worth $5 and are refusing to send correct. Demanding I pay for postage back to China. Not an Australian store. Complete lie about Melbourne. Do not buy from these guys. Low quality, over priced stuff. Stick with Temu or Shien if you want cheap cheap Chinese stuff, at least there you get what you pay for. This site is a SCAM, strong advise don’t buy from here, you are just throwing away your money for nothing. I have contacted their support centre several times and have reported to ACCC.

I bought a pair of “orthotic runners” from them. $80 “on sale”.

Let me list the issues:
1) sizing. I ordered a size 9. Received a euro size 40 which is right. Good. Except it’s a full inch smaller than any other 9 or 40 I own.
2) the “orthotic” insole is almost completely flat and when you do pull it out it’s thin, hard, styrofoam.
3) there’s holes through the insole below the “orthotic”.
4) the sides of the upper are tied together under the insole.
5) the tongue is made of a weird rigid plastic that’s meant to look like leather.
6) the tongue is held into the shoe with maybe 4 stitches.
7) both shoes are dirty.

When I received the parcel it was odd because it was not in a box and it was so light. Honestly, these shoes easily weigh maybe half what my converse weigh.

So I emailed the company. They offered me a 20% discount on other products not to return the shoes, but if I insisted on returning them, that I would have to pay for postage back to china (despite them stating on their website that they’re based out of Melbourne), and that it would cost me £50 (yes. Pound, not dollars).

I strongly suspect they’re not based out of Melbourne at all. The shoes were utterly disappointing.

This company is not Australian as advertised. The shoes are not as advertised and very cheap copy’s of quality brands. No tags or proper boxes. They will not give you a choice to return as per the website says. After some communication via email they disappear

I really wish I'd read the reviews prior to purchasing. I bought a "waterproof extended jacket" that is not the correct Australian size, because the company is very clearly not Australian. My jacket was dropshipped from China, and while I have no issue with buying direct from manufacturers, honesty would be nice. The jacket doesn't seem to be waterproof, is too small, is poorly insulated, and since it was purchased on sale, isn't eligible for return. It also doesn't come with tags or any other label identifying "Velvet Lane". Do not purchase from here.

I purchased a dress for $90 supposedly worth much on a 40% off sale. The dress I got was extremely synthetic and one you wouldn't expect to pay more than $20 for. It's like a child's dress up. Very cheap looking and total disappointment. I would ever shop here again.

I had an issue with the zip, but customer service sorted it without fuss.

Practical trousers, airy comfort yet lacking unique style.

Scam. Zero stars if I could.
Products are such poor quality and not as advertised. Not a Melbourne company - it is Chinese. Threw away the products I ordered as so bad. Chalked it down to my own stupidity for not checking out this company and the reviews before ordering.

20/11/25: This company asked for more detail via Trustpilot today to ensure my post was genuine. How funny. Surely you can search orders by my name and address ... lol. I ordered two pairs of boots both in size 37, instead received one pair in a 35 and the other 39 supposedly leather (not) and so appallingly made. What a scam - they don't pay for return goods to China even when selling faulty,mispresented and appallingly made products and the wrong size boots in my case. Note they are not an Australian company despite presenting themselves as a Mebourne business on their website. Once again, zero stars if I could.

Dress fit well using chart, floral print sweet, overall slightly unremarkable.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! If I could give 0 that would be too high a score. Avoid at all costs!

My order within an hour of placing it after reading reviews. I did about 300 dollars and what has arrived is not even close to the photos. I fell for the Melbourne couple story closing down their store. I don’t know how this company continues to operate.

Scam. Items very poor quality. Nothing like the website advertised. Impossible to return.
So disappointed
