From start to finish the solicitor Mathew Patterson kept me informed of all the proceedings, he came across an obstacle with the Inland Revenue but he sorted everything out with them which was no mean feat, i could ring him and he would always take my call and nothing was too much trouble for him, i Highly recommend him.

From the very beginning Veritas Solicitors where always in contact either by email or phone call. If I had any queries or wanted an update on how things where progressing I could email or call my case handler who would answer any and all questions.
For the first time it actually felt like someone was on my side and was taking everything I said seriously and wasn't being ignored or fobbed with one excuse after another. From the Date I submitted my claim form all the way up to the issue was very nearly resolved it took less than a year.
If anyone else is having a horrendous experience with their local council regarding repairs I would highly recommend submitting in a housing disrepair claim form as your very much in safe hands, as everyone involved from start to finish only has your best interests at heart.

I am writing to say thank you to Veritas Solicitors for dealing with my claim against WYTHENSHAWE Housing Assocciation regarding Damp, Mould and Spores in every item of furniture, 3 piece suite, double bed settee, Dining table, Wall units, blankets, Duvets, king size bed, bedding, curtains , blinds, shoes, handbags carpets and clothes.
I would like to say a huge thank you to my case handler Miss Nikita Nayar.
I gave authority to Miss Nayar to continue handling my case against Wythenshawe Housing Association.
I felt that Nikita and l had developed a good relationship. I also felt that l could trust her with my personal information as she always treated me dignity, respect and compassion through out the whole process.
As the situation developed further with the Housing Association Manager, the threats l was experiencing from Wythenshawe housing caused me a great deal of stress and my health deteriorated further. I was informed by the Manager that It didn’t matter about my COPD, Asthma and regular Chest infections that l would be taken to court for not allowing the surveyors to treat my home with the chemicals they wanted to use on the walls. I had informed the Manager that l was advised by a doctor not to allow the chemicals to be used on my walls. Several days later l was informed that if l was disobedient l would be taken and put into prison, she also stated that the request l had applied for with Manchester Move was stopped because she informed them l was adequately housed. I was also informed l could not apply for a move to any property in Wythenshawe and l would be made to pay any fees, or fines incurred.
Nikita treated me with kindness, patience, and compassion. She was always calm and very supportive. I was very grateful to have Nikita as my case handler. She was a pleasure to talk to, she was always compassionate and treated me in a sincere professional manner. She is an intelligent and empathetic young lady.
As my health deteriorated and l developed a rash on the entirety on my body, l also lost most of my hair due to the stress, toxins and chemicals which were used on the property.
I hope Nikita continues to grow and further develops her position with Veritas, she is an amazing and intelligent young lady.

I have been in contact with veritas solicitors for three years now to help with my damp and mould claim against the council. It took a very long time but now after three years I have finally got the results I’ve been waiting for and my house will finally get fixed!

I read the other reviews and can't believe they got 5 stars, I was told from the start my case would be a definite WIN,so I went ahead with claim unfortunately like others the ATE,( I think that's what they named it) was never explained to me throughout the calls/texts etc it was however in the many pages sent through an email,due to my medication I kind of zone out when it comes to emails,I never received any paperwork throughout my claim, then on the very last form the ATE was mentioned so along with their 25% which I knew about ( was mentioned loads of times in calls) I was shocked at the £400+ that they would also take leaving my compensation at just over £100, I'd had at least 4 different case handlers so was shocked this was never actually mentioned to me on the numerous calls I'd had with them. SO IF ANYONE WAS TO USE THEM ON A NO WIN NO FEE .....READ THE SMALL PRINT. And I would have never gone through all the process if they would have said I wouldn't win.it never went to court my landlord agreed about the mould, so is the £400+ fair price for a case that from the start was a definite win?

Absolutely terrible service, I have been trying to get black mould sorted for nearly two years. I was told work would start last October still nothing. Case worker is changed so many times. The last update from my call handler was: nothing she can do if landlord has not responded, she was very unhelpful. Does not rely.

Kept up to date all the time. Issues were resolved very quickly and more! Very pleased with the outcome.Thank you Veritas.

If it's just about the company I don't give an excellent feedback. My concern is about the 4oo odd pounds insurance I was charged for and the explanation to me was : just in case if my landlord doesn't accept the failure for not paying enough attention to do the repairs in my house and we have to go to court I need to be insured to cover the expenses that loosing the case will put in my hand as s result of the loosing. I think we all know after the initial phone call to report the miss repair Veritas would see my case wasn't strong enough to win not in million years would take my case and even for a 2 years old child it was so clear the result was win. Despite the gentleman in my initial phone call said after the winning all you'll have to pay is %25 of my compensation, however by me not reading all of those terms and conditions I just signed the contract between me and Veritas and unfortunately I considered every thing straight forward and simple. Now I know what does no W no fee means , a sweet sentence for companies to make easy massive money. However if it's about the sweet excited and motivated helpful solicitor Mané Amien , I give her more than excellent feedback and review . Well done girl 🌹 .

I have been waiting 4 years for a PPI claim . Within the first few weeks I was informed I was owed just under 10k and yet we are no further! I have asked a number of times via the phone for all documentation for my case to be sent to me and had no luck….. After endless emails telling what route they are now going down and a number of calls and now requesting more signed consent forms, I do worry about what on earth is going on and I can only assume by the end of this the outcome will be Nil. I would 100% like I’ve read others have said in reviews opted to come out of this and take my case else where.
