From my initial call everything was brilliant. The receptionist was so kind and efficient. Rita came to visit us at home, she was with us within 40 mins. She was calm, efficient, professional and absolutely wonderful as she supported us through diagnosis, decision making and the end for our glorious rabbit. Her empathy and kindness, giving us time, support, direction and compassion will stay with us forever. I can’t thank you enough for such an excellent service.

We had to call out a vet to put our precious dog to sleep. It was the hardest thing we’ve had to do but Sebastian was incredibly kind, thoughtful and respectful and explained the whole process to us. He was very calm and gentle with our dog and gave us as much time as we needed. We would recommend veteris to anyone going through the same sad event.

The vet was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and very patient when our cat managed to escape under the bed (even helping us get him out!). I couldn't recommend them more.

I believe it was Louis who came out, he was really great and gentle with our old cat. We assumed we'd need to put him to sleep, but thankfully he was able to prescribe us medication and detect a problem that our usual vet had missed.

From our first telephone consultation with a friendly receptionist to the arrival of two fully trained veterinary surgeons 2 hours later our expectations were exceeded by Veteris, These are a knowledgable, caring, and extremely efficient team and we had a totally positive experience using this practice, We would definitely use this service again and highly recommend them!!!

Although it was an upsetting time the vet and her assistant were very reassuring and caring. They did not try to rush us and explained what they were going to do, and they were quietly talking to and stroking Charlie (my friends dog) all the time to reassure him. It was all very dignified and they acted compassionately which really helped us. We would highly recommend them.

I can’t thank Erwan and team enough for their expertise, professionalism and such caring, empathic approach. We were informed every step of the way. The time spent was much appreciated and valued. I would recommend in a heartbeat and wouldn’t hesitate to call Veteris again in the future .

The team at Veteris are professional and compassionate. In particular a veterinary nurse called Lindsay went the extra mile to support us through some very difficult days. The emergency services where a vet came to our home was exceptional. Emma was compassionate, professional and honest with us helping us with making a difficult decision about our beloved dog's condition and treatment. Thank you x

On Good Friday evening, our dog ate several dark chocolate bites, and we were understandably worried. We called our usual vet, who transferred us to Veteris for emergency support, and the response was immediate.

A nurse quickly assessed the situation over the phone and recommended a home visit. The cost was clearly explained upfront, and we were given an estimated arrival time shortly after.

Vinh, the vet who came to see us, was excellent :) calm, professional, and very caring. He arrived fully equipped and took the time to explain everything, including treatment options, costs, and follow-up care.

We also received a detailed report and invoice afterwards, and a few days later a nurse called to check that Milo was doing well, which was really appreciated.

We were incredibly relieved to have access to such a responsive and high-quality home service, especially as it wouldn’t have been practical for us to travel to a clinic that evening.

I’m very grateful for the care provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Veteris!

amazing service. Call answered immediately at 6 am. Vet arrived at 7 am. She was incredibly professional and compassionate. My 10-year-old German Shepherd had to leave us. It was about as good and experience you could have.

We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved cat - Puss, and we are so grateful to Vetris for providing such a compassionate home visit service.
In what was an incredibly difficult and emotional time, Dr Ellie was truly outstanding. She came to our home and immediately brought a sense of calm and reassurance. Her kindness, professionalism, and empathy made an unbearable situation much more tolerable.
Dr Ellie treated Puss with the utmost dignity and respect, ensuring everything was handled gently and without distress. She explained each step clearly and gave us time and space we needed to say goodbye properly, which meant so much to us.
We are deeply thankful for the care and compassion shown. Being able to say goodbye at home, in a familiar and comfortable environment, made the world of difference. Dr Ellie made an incredibly hard moment as peaceful and painless as possible, and for that we will always be grateful.

Our elderly much loved dog Ted became ill in the early hours of Good Friday.
Veteris vet Rita was here by 8am and set up a drip in the living room through which she gave Ted drugs. Another vet came late that night as Ted hadn’t improved. Both vets encouraged us to take Ted to the practice for more tests and scans.
By Easter Saturday morning we had taken the decision to let him go. He had been the best companion for 15 years and deserved a pain free and peaceful death.
We’d like to thank Veteris for their comprehensive and professional service.
We’d like to thank Rita for coming out to see us twice and for so sensitively handling Ted’s death.
And all the nurses who answered the phone and who were so kind and helpful.
Finally thanks to Joanne who looked after our insurance claim and who was kind enough to call me and send me texts. We couldn’t have asked for more empathetic care.

It's hard to describe how hard it to make the decision to euthanize your pet...especially if like me, your dog is like your baby. Lucky was deteriorating quickly around 1am and I knew it was an emergency situation. Veteris made the whole process easy and seamless for us in those early hours...the vets they sent were so professional and empathetic and I will forever be grateful for how they handled us as well as Lucky. had to contact Veteris during an emergency, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care we received. The response was fast, and the vet, Vinh, handled the situation with both professionalism and genuine compassion.

They took the time to clearly explain what was happening and what needed to be done, which made a very stressful situation much easier to manage. Most importantly, they treated my pet with kindness and urgency, which gave me a lot of reassurance.

Having access to an emergency service like this, especially with the option of care at home, makes a huge difference. I truly appreciate their dedication and would recommend them to anyone facing an urgent situation with their pet.

I write as the Chair of Feline Friends London. The importance of vet hospitals with high fees showing a compassionate understanding towards pet owners was brought home to me by a young friend's recent experience of bringing her cat as an emergency to this vet hospital.
My friend has loved animals since childhood and has been helping me with strays on a Hoxton estate, including with late night feeding.
She is a student, who works in a restaurant evenings to support herself and also volunteers helping children struggling to read and write.
In early November she adopted her beloved 3/4 year old rescue cat, Frankie. It is indicative of her compassion that she chose him, an overlooked black cat who was obese, and missing his tail.
She took care with his diet, helping him lose weight, and made sure he got exercise.
In January, Frankie suffered a blocked bladder and, despite being a student, my friend paid £3k to her regular vet, for Frankie's bladder to be unblocked,
Sadly, Frankie blocked again at night, 2 weeks ago, and my friend brought him to Veteris. Tragically, Frankie couldn't be saved and my friend elected for euthanasia so Frankie didn't suffer, and has been grieving him ever since.
She paid Veteris £3k, the bulk of the vet fee. However, 4 days after Frankie's passing they started harassing her to pay the balance, that wrongly included a fee for cremation and collection of ashes. This part of the fee was then removed, leaving around £300 outstanding, for which my friend was still chased for immediate payment, despite saying she didn't have the money but would pay once she did.
It was my friend's birthday on Wednesday and she told me she would have to use whatever birthday money she received, towards Veteris' outstanding fees and her student loan.
One of our trustees, moved by my friend's experience, offered to pay the outstanding fee with Veteris. Only after the fee was paid in full, did Veteris send a message of condolence to my friend, referring to Frankie as a cat she had had for years, when he was a young cat she had adopted in November.
This is no way to treat a young person, grieving a cat she loved and who spent all her savings on vet fees.

It is a great team, dedicated, fast, professional! Super recommended if your beloved pet needs help.

Went for emergency care. The diagnose of the vet was so inaccurate. He confirmed my dog didn't have a cruciate ligament broken, that it was not possible.
Went to her vet this morning (Monday) he didn't need more than 3 min to examinate and diagnosed the broken ligament.
Medicines, injections given not needed - almost £400 wasted. Definitely not recommended, save your money

The vet Fin that presented himself one hour after I called was professional and knowledgable. My pet felt very relaxed at home. Can't fault them whatsoever. The lady that called me in the morning to check on my pupp' was also lovely. I would recommend in my neighbourhood. I'm happy my vet The London Vet recommended them.

Very grateful to Sebastian and his companion for the kindness and grace in helping our beloved cat Rocky leave us peacefully and with dignity. It made the hardest decision of our lives the right one.
