I had an excellent experience with them recently, when my senior cat woke me up at 2 a.m. straining to poo and vomiting. The vet Olivia was very patient with him and us, listening to our concerns, and... Toon meer

Many thanks from a grateful chihuahua mum.
My 10 year old Chihuahua is very scared of vets but Maddie was truly wonderful with him.
She took time to reassure him and build his trust until he was confident enough to allow her examination.
I can honestly say that I I have never experienced a nicer or more thorough veterinarian than Maddie.
A big thank you from Cody Cummings.
We relied on their emergency home visit and were left without care
We called Veteris at around 11:30pm on Saturday because our cat was unwell and we felt a home vet visit was the most appropriate option. She is extremely nervous in the car and has previously become so distressed that she pants and struggles to breathe. Their closest physical clinic we could take her to was around 30–40 minutes away, so we wanted to avoid putting her through that if possible.
We were told the home visit wait would be up to four hours, so 3:30am was the maximum timeframe we were given and we relied on that.
At 2am, I called Veteris myself for an update and was then told it could now be as late as 4:30am. At 4:30am, they called us and moved it again, this time to around 7am.
They did call again at 7am and I missed that call, which I accept. But by then we had already spent the entire night waiting based on timeframes that kept changing, and the Notting Hill Carnival road closures had started from 6am.
Had we been told at 11:30pm that there was a realistic possibility of waiting until 7am or later, we could have made an informed decision and taken her to a vet ourselves despite the stress it would cause her.
I understand emergency cases can take priority. What I don’t understand is giving someone a maximum four-hour wait, then moving that to five hours, then seven and a half hours. We trusted the information Veteris gave us when deciding how to get our sick cat seen, and ultimately that left us without the emergency care we thought we had arranged.
If the realistic wait could have been seven or eight hours, that should have been made clear from the beginning so we could have made other arrangements while we still had the chance.
Instead, we’re now effectively stuck in the middle of Notting Hill Carnival with the road closures in place and a cat who still needed to see a vet, all because we relied on the timeframe we were given.
I took my dog to the emergency vet…
I took my dog to the emergency vet yesterday, and honestly, everything was exceptional from start to finish. From the lovely lady I spoke to on the phone, to the vet who saw us (Dr. Minnie), everyone was kind, professional and reassuring.
The clinic was absolutely spotless, and they managed to get us seen so quickly, which made such a difference in what was already a stressful situation. Everything was explained to me clearly and thoroughly, and I never felt rushed or unsure about what was happening.
I was also really impressed that, despite the excellent level of care, the charges were actually very reasonable.
I honestly can’t fault the service we received. Thank you to the whole team for looking after my dog and for making a worrying experience so much easier. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs emergency veterinary care.
Amazing service
Amazing service, very friendly and efficient staff
Extremely happy and would go back, if I needed it
We took our very sick cat to Veteris in…
We took our very sick cat to Veteris in Twickenham after recommendations from friends. The team were brilliant - really helpful and professional. It’s so reassuring to know we have King Sreet Vets for normal hours and Veteris for emergencies with both within walking distance.
Great medical expertise but extremely unhelpful and opaque pricing structures
Most importantly our cat was helped and treated and the medical advice was very appreciated. HOWEVER what made the entire experience extremely confusing was their approach to treatment pricing. We were consistently told different costs throughout the night, at one point even asked whether we were quoted £150 or £180 for a consultation fee, implying they are charging people different costs for the same service. The endoscopy quotes started in the evening at £1k per cat. This was when we thought we would have to do two - one for each cat so the total cost would have been £2k. When it became clear we only needed to do it for one cat, every subsequent conversation with a different nurse or vet inched the cost up until finally being £2.5k for one cat - what a suspicious coincidence. These constant price changes were genuinely comical. When we pushed back on this the vet eventually settled on £1.8k but I’m quite confident that if we had been in a more emotionally distressed and tired mental state and not pushed back, we would have been charged £2.5k.
Excellent care
Thank you Dr Vinh & Veteris team for their brilliant services.
Cannot recommend enough.
I had to make the difficult decision to put my beautiful girl to sleep. I opted for Veteris home visit service. From my initial call to make inquiries to my cat passing away peacefully the service was simply amazing and smooth. The Vet who attended was so respectful and supportive. He talked is through options and what the process would entail. Cara, was so peaceful when she passed and the Vet made it so easy, even putting up with my blubbing. I know my beautiful girl was given a dignified end to her 21 years with me. Thank you Veteris and especially the lady who took my call and the attending Vet. I cannot praise them enough, total professionals and an absolute credit to their profession. Thank you.
Excellent caring service
We had to make a midnight visit every dog owner dreads. Veteris were fantastic from the first call right through to handing us Alfie’s ashes. All the staff showed us compassion and understanding. Their professional yet friendly and caring approach was impressive. Thank you Veteris Twickenham.

Madeleine was very helpful and she listen while we was worried. Hopefully nothing serious happened to my cat, but she was calm and probably reassuring more myself than Elon! Very happy with the service
Difficult Time…
Thank you for your care of Hudson and us during such a difficult time, it was very much appreciated xx
Such an amazing service!
Such an amazing service!
Would highly recommend, having a vet do a home visit in an emergency reduced our cats stress when she was very poorly. Leeya was great at explaining all our options and provided the best care, our cat is now on the mend.
Thank you!
Kind and skilled vets
We have used Veteris three times for our dog who can we quite difficult. All the vets have been lovely and treated her with skill and patience.
My dachshund vomited up a chunk of…
My dachshund vomited up a chunk of rubber on a weekend morning and then continued vomiting bile. I called Veteris and was told a vet would be with me in two hours. The triage nurse on the phone was kind and very reassuring. They called again after 90 minutes to say the vet was on his way. Dr Eric arrived 15 minutes later. He was lovely and patient with my dog, took a careful history, examined him and then administered an emetic. He stayed for almost an hour, and my dog vomited up another big chunk of rubber. Dr Eric helped him (and me) stay calm, then gave him an antiemetic and provided advice to me on what to look out for over the next day or so. It wasn’t cheap (£454) but it meant I didn’t have the stress of finding an Uber Pet to take us to the nearest emergency vet and back. Within 12 hours I was sent a detailed report and itemised invoice. I’m very grateful to Dr Eric and would definitely recommend.
Thank you
Thank you, Veteris, for your exceptionally prompt 24‑hour service. You arrived within 20 minutes of my after‑hours call, which was incredibly reassuring. You helped soothe my dog and stayed for as long as needed — never rushed, and the veterinarian took her time throughout. We were very satisfied with the level of care and professionalism she provided.
Emergency home visit + 2 nights hospital
Prompt house visit at 11:30pm, very competent and professional. Good communication from the hospital throughout.
The vet was brilliant
The vet was brilliant, checked my dog thoroughly and asked questions that would be relevant to her care. Injections given without a flinch which is a never.
Fantastic service
Amazing, kind and sensitive service putting my mind at rest. Sebastian and his team were absolutely fantastic . Sadie was in good hands. I highly recommend this service. Excellent value for money .
Thanks again
Ruby’s care
I took my 12 year old whippet Ruby to the emergency service hospital in Twickenham with a nasty gash to her hind leg. She is generally very anxious around vet surgeries, so I was concerned on 2 counts. The team looked after her very sensitively, efficiently cleaning, stapling and dressing the wound. We left much happier with pain relief and antibiotics. Glad to say she seems well on the mend. Thank you.
Bob
Super helpful
Lovely people, came out and made sure my foster cat wasn’t having an emergency, gave him medicine which helped him feel better and me some peace of mind
