I’ve completely given up on using Virmach’s services. Over the past two years, their performance has gone from bad to unbearable, and it has caused me serious trouble with my own clients.

Unstable Network & Frequent Downtime:
Their servers are extremely unreliable. Outages don’t last for just a few hours — sometimes my VPS would be down for weeks. Even after “repairs,” new issues keep appearing. They claim 99% uptime or a refund, but don’t expect that promise to mean anything. They will never actually honor it.

Unhelpful & Slow Support:
Customer support is a nightmare. Tickets take days (sometimes weeks) to get a response, and most replies are completely off-topic or generic. If you really need help, prepare to wait and be frustrated.

Refund & Credit Issues:
Any remaining balance or credit in your account is basically lost money. I tried several times to request a refund for unused credit, but none of my tickets ever got a response. The only time they contacted me quickly was when I did a chargeback — so clearly, they can respond when it affects them financially.

Virmach used to be decent, but their service quality and customer care have completely collapsed. I no longer recommend them to anyone who values uptime, reliability, or accountability. They seriously need to improve their infrastructure, communication, and refund process before they can be trusted again.

This is my first time using it, but I can’t install Windows. I’ve tried following the tutorial tab, but nothing works. I already contacted customer support, but it’s been a day and no one has replied. I hope you can help me fix this.

Might want to look elsewhere if you want to be able to actually use what you buy.

Been with them for what seems like over 7 years. I had quite a few VPS with them through the years but have canceled all but two the last few years since I hardly use them and was basically donating money to them. Thought the BF deals were pretty good but noticed that they had migrated datacenters a few times and I still wasn't too perturb by it since, again, I hardly used it. Then came the email that one of my VPS was using too much I/O so they shut it down. I took a look at the graph logs provided by the dash and didn't noticed anything. Again, I hardly used it and only had Virtualmin loaded. I didn't even point my DNS over to the VPS so there was not much chance for outside access to the VPS. Anyway, I decided to figure out a problem I was having with another VPS so I powered it back up and played with it a bit. Couldn't figure things out so I just logged out and didn't power down. Months later I get another email that said the VPS was suspended due to I/O. During the last BF events I had heard many people trashing Virmach saying that they will find reasons to get you out of your BF purchases. I didn't think much of it since I didn't have too many issues with them through the years. Well, I guess those people were right. I tried contacting them for the past month and they have yet to reply. I'm thinking they just want me out since I'm reserving resources that they can maybe get more money for? Didn't think they were losing much but I guess every little bit counts. Anyway, chances are they won't answer and I'll just have to cancel service since there's no reason for me to pay for something I can't use. Sorry for being long winded but I just wanted to provide the whole picture.

server have been down for 8 hours, looks like disaster

Unable to create a ticket for downtime. I only get some stupid AI response and not able to contact anybody. Network status states downtime of NY for almost 2 weeks without any updates!

Last year I bought a host in this site and It was blocked after 2 month using. It's a sad story because I barely use it and I havn't break any rules. I just want to create a blog site for myself and it was gone without any reasons. Also I can't get my money back. You deserve a zero star

I'm using Virmach for almost more than 10 years, very happy with them, they are so respectful guys, I like them, in my opinion and usage there is no issue, and happy about it

Virmach is the worst server company I have used. Their service is terrible, with zero customer service. The node can be offline for months and they change the IP often. When you open a ticket, they close it without any response. They can only cheat me once, I will never purchase any VPS from them—scammer virmach.

My data leaked, I tried to contact them to update those data or delete the account. Refused
You need an active subscription to contact the support.
Fuc* insult to their (old) customers and straight middle finger to several EU laws.

These guys are lowlives. They renewed my service for another year a week before the due date without permission, I was planning to cancel the service at end of billing cycle. I filed a dispute with paypal, they ended up suspending BOTH of my servers out of spite, including another one I had already paid for the year, and lost all of my data, eventually completely deleting my account. This company must be ran by pathetic human beings, no other way to put it. STAY AWAY!

Their servers are unusable, I had a $12/year VPS with them, the first 2 years were fine, I didn't submit any tickets and at least it was usable, the last 2 years the service went south, they won't even response to the tickets. VPS was down and unpingable, submitted a ticket, they confirmed it was the network issue, but guess what? 4 months later and no response. They didn't even fix the problem.

Don't give them money. Just don't

No response, no service, no customer service, taking money but not honoring their company policy to cancel product subscription

My domain / web host / e-mail server has been inaccessible for nine (9) months with no human response to support tickets.

Attempts to access a VPS have been failing now for going on (1) one month, and attempts to access its controls reports:

This could either mean:

A) It took too long to load.
B) The server controls have been automatically disabled due to an anomoly.
C) The server could be offline, in which case we have already been notified.

Note how they not so subtly discourage opening a ticket - making the situation seem rather hopeless considering there is already a host outage network status report that has been open for almost (3) three months!

A recent 5-star review, by a non-verified user, appears to attribute the negative feedback to fake reviewers - as if the lonely 5-star reviews could not be fake reviews themselves. The first reviews seen upon browsing Virmach are largely obvious fake 5-star reviews, and Virmach doesn't even appear try to clean them off, possibly because it makes it look like they have a 4+ star average to anyone that does not bother to click the additional link leading to Trustpilot.

I don't deny that someone else might have a good experience. but since two of my three services have such troubled existences, have experienced lengthy outages, the negatives clearly outweigh prior positive experiences and do not assure likelihood of satisfaction on the part of other customers.

Loss of access to a domain I have owned for over 20-years is a pretty terrible thing even if one didn't count a web server being down for nine months, or, if one could somehow justify lengthy VPS outages.

paid on 20240902, but never give a valid vps, the insane things is my account never login successful(I'm quite sure my password is right), when i click forget my password(I have no any other way to login in), it shown I'm blocked, I request refund via email, noboby answer!If i can, I want give this shtt 0 star review not 1 star, never using this services.

People have crazy expectations sometimes and I hate how today's business is all about a bunch of fake reviews from big companies that pay people to trash smaller businesses like Virmach. I have been a long term customer- 4 years- and have used their services for many things and will continue to use them. There were a few instances were service was down but they explained the reason and it made sense. There are hackers out there and business companies are not God. If you have crazy expectations that nothing should ever go wrong, well good luck to you. Otherwise, I would recommend this company.

Unresponsive, unreliable, unusable. The last few months, the service has been horrible and the technical response non existent. Until there is a commitment to managing their service, I would not recommend using Virtual Machine Solutions (virmach.com)

For the love of god DO NOT use Virmach as a VPS provider.

My VPS went offline two months ago and it's never been restored. The support tickets never get answered.

DO NOT USE this service no matter what. Money lost paying on non-existing service is not even an issue!

It's all the data and work that has been lost and all the time required for migration to new server.

This is far worse than if they only scammed you for money and never provided a VPS.

Save yourself money, time and nerves by NOT USING this service.
