Super easy to use. It’s a little bit tricky if you’re based in the province of Quebec because the legislation does not allow you to notarize it. Other than that, it’s great. One note for Willful: it would be great if you could find a way to make sure that adjectives in French either have both the feminine and the masculine or adapt to the person‘s gender. For example, even if a person mentions being female, the adjective (ex.: marié) does not take the feminine in the French version of the testament. Perhaps adding both would simplify things, ie: marié.e OR marié-e

You make an excellent point about Quebec. Due to unexpected legislative changes in the province that affect digital will notarizations, we can no longer offer virtual notarization appointments. However, residents can still create their "Will Among Witnesses" (testament devant témoins) seamlessly on our platform.
We also really appreciate your thoughtful feedback regarding the French grammar in our documents. Ensuring our documents are inclusive, accurate, and respectful for all Canadians is incredibly important to us. I have gone to a lawyer 3 times to put together my will plus updates and it was a long, overly complicated, and expensive process. I needed to do another update so I tried Willful. Complete opposite experience - simple, thoughtful (include provisions for pets), and was a few hundred dollars instead of a few thousand. And the best part - free updates whenever I need.
