The process of creating the will was simple, straightforward, and foolproof. Once done, instructions for printing and executing the will were just as complete. I especially liked the instruction sheets - made the process error free.

I haven’t completed it yet. I tried making changes and couldn’t find how to do it. I would like to add Additional requests but couldn’t find how to do it. Was going to complete it but because of all of this it’s still not done. So I as much as I like the application I am still confused on how to finish it. Can you help me. Thank you.

I find technology very challenging and had reservations but elected to proceed. When completing the Will I wanted to name all three of my sons as Executors but Son #1 was named Attorney and Son #2 and Son#3 as substitutes. This also was the case when completing the Property and Personal Care documents. In the will I intended to leave money to my grandchildren but was unable to do so. I have made revisions to the Property and Personal Care documents and intend to use these. Regarding the Will have made an appointment with a lawyer in June for I cannot deal with this crap and wish to ensure the Will is prepared correctly.

I would like to clarify a few things regarding how our system handles these roles, as there may be ways to achieve what you are looking for:
- Co-Executors: Our platform does allow you to name two people to act as Co-Executors. However, it does not currently support naming three people to act jointly, which is likely why the system moved your third son to a substitute role.
- Power of Attorney: For these documents (Property and Personal Care), our system does not allow for joint attorneys. This is an intentional design to prevent potential gridlock in emergency medical or financial situations.
- Gifts to Grandchildren: You can actually leave gifts to grandchildren in our "Specific Gifts" section. Our recent updates allow you to categorize them specifically as grandchildren. Additionally, you can appoint them to receive a portion of your "residue" (the remainder of your estate).
However, we would love to help you get this right. Please contact our support team directly(hello@willful.co) so we can discuss your situation and walk you through how to set up your sons and grandchildren within the platform to match your wishes as closely as possible.

Not happy with the service
Not happy with the service. I had researched prior if willful would work if we own a business and willful's website said "yes!" but it is so generic and won't let us add any stipulations. It also allows each spouse to appoint different people to take our kids in the event we both pass. Honestly just lots of issues and I regret paying so much for this. Unfortunately we are passed the return window so it was just a waste of money.

While you can certainly use Willful if you own a business, our platform provides a streamlined process rather than the deep customization or "stipulations" that a complex business structure might require. Appointing Guardians
Regarding the different guardians, our system allows each spouse to have their own account so their will reflects their individual wishes. Each person can absolutely appoint a different person. Since the majority of the time one spouse passes away first, having your own appointee ensures you are in charge of who the guardian would be if you are the surviving parent.
Just so you know, if you both pass away at the same time and have appointed different people, a family court would step in to make a final decision based on the best interests of the children.
