Went with a relative who lost her hair due to chemo. We found a hairpiece from looking at our photos to just about a match for a wig. Janet styled and changed the parting and cut a little off the back and fringe. We even managed to change the cap as it was too tight for a long period of time. Really worth while experience and a lot of knowledge shared for the care of the wig going forward

Traveled for miles, difficult parking, only to find a nameplate on a wall, rang the bell, to be met by an ignorant bloke, I asked is this the Wonderful Wig Company, only to be a sharp yes have you got an appointment, after explaining nobody mentioned this, he said well ring up book it and we will see you. I told him I'd go to the Sunderland branch, he said that's ours too so you'll need to ring them, then came have you got a voucher, this had nothing to do with the situation, my wife has taken a long time to get the confidence to approach this matter after receiving chemotherapy, and to be met with this inconsiderate, ignorant approach totally threw us, the interest was more on the appointment and voucher than the understanding need the situation warrented, just a horrible arrogant meeting, I'd neever set foot in the place ever, I will be informing our cancer team to never recommend this company again, there are plenty other companies who can meet the needs of anyone in a similar position, we don't need the Wonderful Wig Company. I work in sales and I'd be appalled if any of my team greeted anyone the offhand way we were greeted, and all through the situation he was gazing at my wife in the car while addressing me, complete disregard for my presence, keep your services if this is your attitude before you even know us, my wife has been upset with it, but iv settled her mind again explaining there are other hopefully more understanding and respectful companies out there. Avoid this place at all costs.

The Wonderful Wig Company was great from start to finish. Janet was so professional, kind and caring. The wig for my son was lovely. Can’t recommend enough. My son absolutely loves it and is very pleased with it.

Consultation was brilliant with Janet in Sunderland
I was rather nervous on my first visit in August 2024, I was put at ease as everything was explained to me, I then purchased a hair topper which is perfect for me and have worn it each time I have gone out socially.
Today I bought a real hair topper and attended again with Janet who was amazing as usual.

Mam had an appointment today with Janet. As usual she was so professional and very caring, making man feel totally at ease.
Couldn't recommend this company more highly! Mam left a very happy lady.

Booking an appointment was easy and communication was excellent.
Jemma was absolutely amazing, made me feel at ease and was so helpful,she listened and heard me when asking about the style of wig I was looking for and couldn't of been more kind and helpful. A great experience and will definitely be using this company from now on,the selection of wigs available was great and the salon itself was very private and comfortable.

Nothing wonderful about it

They basically advertised a wig on their site that wasn't even available!

I said I would wait only to be told a week later the wig was discontinued !

But yet have taken my money.

So 2 weeks have past from my ordering the wig until now today getting an email saying the wig I paid for which they are advertising on their site has been discontinued.

They have processed the refund quickly however which I'm grateful for
Though it's just wasted alot of my time.

Highly recommend this company. I don't live in the area so had to rely on telephone/facetime call. The lady I spoke to was really helpful, and customer support was great throughout.

What a wonderful experience for people going through cancer and chemotherapy .They also look after people through the nhs too
