Reliable and trustworthy
Delivered when promised and AC as expected. We took a chance ordering a fairly expensive unit given that we’d never heard of the company before, but we needn’t have worried. It was hard to find any portable AC and this has made such a difference.

Faulty product with missing components
Absolutely would not recommend this company. I was sent a faulty portable air conditioning unit. It did not come with the window installation kit as advertised in the product listing. This whole experience has wasted a huge amount of my time, as having the product sent back for testing and repairs will take upwards of 2 weeks. Sales order number 57496437

Order 57412983 – Refusing statutory return unless I film videos of boxed unit
I ordered a refurbished air conditioner from Aircon Direct based on the product listing explicitly advertising a quiet noise rating of 38 dB. Upon testing, the unit measured at 55 dB—more than three times as loud—making it completely unfit for a bedroom or normal room environment.
Under Sections 11 and 20 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must match their description, and consumers have a statutory right to reject non-compliant goods with the trader bearing return costs.
I have repacked the unit in its original factory packaging. However, Buy It Direct / Aircon Direct Investigations refuses to issue a return label or arrange collection unless I unbox the unit and upload video footage of my home ventilation setup.
Demanding diagnostic videos of boxed equipment overrides UK statutory consumer law with internal company policy. I am awaiting a prepaid return label or courier collection without further unreasonable demands.

I ordered an aircon and it arrived 2 days too early and was delivered to the wrong place. We had to go and take it (my neighbours steal all my packages) we had to leave work early and run home. The first time i ordered the website kept glitching and ordered to the wrong address which i CANCELLED imediately. Got an email saying i didnt need to do anything and that it would take 3 days for a refund. Payment went through my credit card and took my payment and now i owe DOUBLE on my credit card. Tried to call and couldnt as it wasnt free so i asked my husband to call and they refused to help. Now im having to wait for another day im free to call and its been almost 2 weeks and no refund.

New delivery company needed
I have purchased 2 products from you the first was item code p12c on the 27/05/26 which I was very pleased with, however the delivery was another matter. I waited in all day with no result. late afternoon a neighbour from down the road knocked on my door and said a air con unit had been left on his door step. the driver had rung the doorbell and quickly gone. Luckily the chap was honest and he helped me carry it back to my home.
The second item I bought from you on 17/7/26 was item code pac1218 for my sister in Portsmouth, I paid for a delivery on 23/7/26 as this was the only day she was going to be in, however again it was left on her doorstep on 21/7/26 and had to struggle to get in buy herself, she is in her late sixties and a air con unit is very heavy. My conclusion is the carrier company you are using are rubbish and letting you down badly. If it wasn't for them I would have given you 5 stars instead of 4.

Ordered a ac unit was told on the phone before I brought it that it would be 100% delivered on the date specified, date came no unit, I was then advised it would be a further 2 weeks before it could be delivered, they then said I could have a different unit that was cheaper and I would receive my refund in 3-5 days. Over a week passed and no refund, rang up and spoke to someone on the phone who said they hadn’t even done the refund and it would be processed on the phone and I would have to wait an additional 3-5 days, complete scam company do NOT under any circumstances use this company.
OH MY GOODNESS IT GETS WORSE.
I’ve just looked at my phone bill and because of the long wait times to speak to anyone, and being put on hold for 20 minutes at a time, I have been charged £60 for the time spent on the phone to these scumbags, please please avoid at all costs this feels like a bad dream, horrendous way to run a business.

Do not ever deal with this company. I bought a refurbished AC which did not work from the moment it came and when trying to return it I was accused of not following the instructions in the manual about a maximum hose curve of 30 degrees. The manual for this unit does not have that, currently they are refusing to refund so I am pursuing a section 75 claim.
The fiasco continues, firstly they reply to trustpilot reviews faster than customer service emails, then send an email telling a pack of lies about what the images clearly show and talk about warm air through an open window, maximum hose angles of 30 degrees and provide no actual update. Do not give these scammers your money.

Order never arrived. "Lost" by delivery firm with very little help offered by retailer. Money refunded but the whole experience was a waste of time.
